@@garymitchell1229 It is so true that Frank Sinatra loved Sammy and stood up for him at a time when white supremacy was at its highest. Yet Sammy suffered racism that Frank could never fathom. Sammy opened doors for black entertainers and Michael and many others will always be grateful to him for that.
@michaelfreeman6608 I'm not a huge Sinatra fan, but if not for Sinatra, that door would not have opened when it did for Sammy & every other black entertainer. It's sad how the color of someone's skin gives a so-called superior race, haha, the right to deny another to live & entertain as they do.
@grannybarry You are so right. As the saying goes, GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES. Sammy may have been short, but he was larger than life. When Sammy performed, there was no end to his talent. He did it all, and we lovingly thank you for the joy you brought to the world. RIP Mr. Davis

My husband and I had the privilege of seeing him at Caesar’s! We knew someone who gave us special treatment! We were nobodies but they sat us in a booth with Altovise, Bill Cosby and a few famous businessmen. All of sudden, the lights went down and pure magic started. Sammy was singing and dancing…Mr. BoJangles….wow! He was so multi talented. I have seen the Beatles 2x, Neil Diamond 39x, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra etc. Sammy was the best!
Sammy is a legend ❤ we will never see another entertainer like him. This generation doesn't even come close 😢 Sammy came from a fearless generation that didn't care about your feelings ! They just entertained and kicked a** 🤣

Frank Sinatra is the one who really opened the door so Sammy would be always treated as an equal - AND THATS THE TRUTH. BROTHERHOOD ~
