The Bioderma shower oil has been the best thing to happen to my sensitive dryish skin. I have been using it for 4 years now, and not only does it leave my skin happy, it takes off waterproof eyeliner like nothing else. Forever grateful to the lady at Sephora who suggested it when I made a face at the price of the Shiseido one. ✨
my bank account thanks you. For YEARS I washed my face morning and evening, due to acne prone, oily and large pore skin. Since discovering you and your channel, I cleanse at night and rinse my face and then prep it for the day. I see a huge difference in my skin. Thank you.
In just a few months of watching your videos you have totally transformed my skin. Thank you for the time you take in producing these and sharing your knowledge.
Thanks for this. I have seen alot of YT people insist that you should wash twice a day. I don't wear makeup, only sunscreen and a bit of mascara so I don't want to wash in the morning anymore. It feels too much for me. Thanks for clarifying and for recommending a variety of products - price wise. Love that.
Bless you for being so straightforward and wonderful, especially about sharing quality products with a reasonable price tag, and giving options for different skin types! As a teenager my mother took me to a derm who basically gave me a look like I was being a baby about my skin (I have OCD itching tendencies and had regularly cystic hormonal acne…I had a GP later in life who was more helpful about my skin than this jerk) and she told me to wash my face with cetaphil (fine product, my skin HATED IT) so I had assumed from then on that I was a lost cause and gave up. 15 years later I find your channel and with a few simple tips from you my skin HAS NEVER LOOKED BETTER without breaking my minimal ‘self care’ budget. If I ever win the lottery I’m sending you a check, but in the meantime please accept my love and gratitude!
I use La Roche Posay's Cicaplast Lavant. It's my all time favorite because it doesn't strip my skin like the la Roche cleanser you showed does. It's super gentle but highly effective for blemishes because it contains zinc. Love it!
Shereene is one of the best personalities on youtube. I get a huge chuckle every time I watch her videos. The woman must be an awesome doctor. Well done shereene!
When I'm doing self care and feeling extra, I get out my very favorites for my double cleanse: Tatcha Camellia Cleansing Oil and then Korres Greek Yogurt Foaming Cream Cleanser. OMG those two products are SO incredible when used in tandem and it feels decadent and elegant and makes me sooooo happy :) I have sensitive skin & both of these are super gentle.
Hi, Dr. Idriss! I really, really love your vlogs! They strike the balance between being educational and fun. You've also helped me a lot in figuring out how to properly address my acne and pigmentation concerns through a tolerable rotation among Tretinoin, Azelaic Acid, Glycolic Acid, and Vitamin C (and sometimes Niacinamide as well). You have my sincere gratitude for patiently and thoroughly explaining those topics and products. Through the years, I've found that my skin finds it difficult to stick with just one facial wash. I've tried a whole range of cleansers marketed for different skin types (and within reasonable budget, which, where I'm from, sadly doesn't include La Roche Posay, Vanicream, Bioderma or even Cetaphil). They will work for a few months, and then my moisture barrier will be so compromised, affecting how my skin reacts to the rest of the products in my routine. That is until I started using Baby Dove Sensitive Moisture Head to Toe Wash. I know it's used on babies, but I figured that if it's gentle enough for their skin, then it's good enough for mine, too. It lathers just a bit without being stripping, and it makes my skin soft and smooth after wash. I think that's due to Glycerin, which is second on the ingredients list (I have become a believer, again, thanks to you). This one's a real gamechanger for me, and maybe you can take a look at it, too, as a budget-friendly alternative, especially for those with combination or normal skin types. I haven't worn make-up since the pandemic started, so I'm not sure if this cleanser can take make-up off well, but I try to wear sunscreen everyday, and I think one round is enough to wash it off. Thank you so much for all your help and advice! Take care always! xx
I am 44 years old and up until a couple of years ago I used hand soap on my face every single time. Nothing else. No moisturizer, no toner. Nothing. I am trying so hard to learn and try to reverse my ignorance. Thank you for doing this Barney fife style.
I've been following you for 2 years now, and my skin has never looked better! I use the first 2 cleansers, and several other products you've mentioned in your videos and am always so happy with them! (Which tells me I am going to LOVE YOUR skincare line...can't wait for it!) I would love to see you make a video on changes to skin during puberty and adolescence, in particular, acne. I have two teen-age sons, one of whom is on Accutane. He is great about his skincare, and sunscreen, regime. Both of my sons go for facials also, which they LOVE!
Thanks, Nicole! I got a new facial gadget GLOW from #touchbeauty. This device has helped keep my pores clean and I have had not one new breakout since starting to use it. Hoping that this continues. :)
Hard water is already skin stripping all year round. As for oil based cleansers, using them because of spfs that can be quite pore clogging (stopped using make up 10 years ago) accompanied with La Roche Posay Toleriane. It's sooooo soothing and gentle for the skin. Using it all year round.
just need to say how AMAZINGLY INCREDIBLE you are and how thankful i am for you, Dr. Shereene Idriss!!! seriously cannot say thank you enough.. Hearing your thoughts/POV on not preferring to use an oil to double cleanse is SO refreshing!! I was originally using micellar water and then a cleanser but after hearing the craze on how amazing oil cleansing was, i switched and geez did my face hate it.... so i changed my double cleanse from an oil back to a micellar water and then a cleanser and i think my skin/face actually kissed me in gratitude. !!
I don’t like oil cleansers either. They’re too messy. But unfortunaty they are one of the most effective make up removers to date. So what I do is I use almond sweet oil first to break up the make up, then without rinsing I add the Biotherma Atoderm Huile de douche, mix it with all the mess that’s on my face, and after that I rinse it with tepid water. I find it effective and less time consuming than a double cleanse. Love your vídeos! 👌😍
@@EC-fm3vb Surprisinly is the one that doesn’t strip my skin because I have very dry skin. But when I want a deep cleansing I swich to Oleo Gel from Instituto Espanol. Like Bioderma is a cleansing oil but it does a deeper cleansing than Bioderma. Here in Portugal you can find this cleansing oil in almost every store.
I also prefer to break up makeup and sunscreen with a natural oil. After watching a few dermatologists' videos on what oils are good for the face, I decided to use apricot kernel oil on some days and rose hip seed oil on other days.
The best explanations about skin types, routines, treatments etc. that I have ever heard and watched videos about! Dear Dr. Idriss thank you very much for your help! Hope to be able to order your skin care line to Germany. Love, Svetlana
When I use cottonrounds, I use the both sides of it - one side for each eye. You do not need to throw away when the other side can be used as well. Noone taught me to do it. I just found it wasteful and it was obvious to me to use both sides.
Yeye! I use Bioderma body wash too and I love it! Also I am not ashamed to profess my admiration and respect for Dr Shereene. She is simply wonderful, intelligent and hilarious! In another life, I would have loved being friends with her.
Love your content! I have tried using just water in the mornings; however, my skin tends to get a breakout or two when I do that. For whatever reason, my older, drier skin actually responds better (stays clearer) when I do a light wash in the morning. We are all so different. Love your videos!
Same! I’ve really tried to commit. What do you use in the morning? I’m thinking of trying LRP toleriane cream cleanser (just started their Pigmentclar in the evenings). I use Hado Labo foaming and it’s quite gentle. My skin is normal and rarely breaks out.
In the summer months especially I will use the sensitivite (pink cap) bioderma micellar water and swipe my face clean. It's gentle enough that it doesn't cause issues and afterward I jump into sunscreen.
@@Luvanmusiq For creamy cleansers, I really like the Versed Gentle Cycle Milky Cleanser (you can actually use it like an oil cleanse because it has so many oils in it), and I like the Milk Makeup Vegan Milk Cleanser. For a foamy cleanser that doesn't strip my skin, I love the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser, and also the Versed Wash it Out Gel Cleanser with ceramides.
@@Luvanmusiq In the summer months, I use (believe it or not) Zapzyt cleanser (but don't leave on long) or LRP Toleriene Purifying Foaming. In the winter months I also use the LRP cleansers for drier skin types or any creamier cleanser (but not the Cerave for dry skin as that one breaks me out). :)
@@Luvanmusiq I'm using the Toleriane cream cleanser in the morning since about a week ago and I find it perfect for a morning cleanse, it's probably the most gentle cleanser I've tried so far, definetely doesn't over-strip. I had it in my night time routine for a few months but it's a bit too gentle for a night cleanse, for my very oily skin. Now I use a foaming cleanser at night and this really gentle one in the morning and I've been loving it so far.
I just discovered bioderma cleansing oil! I use it at night as my first step in my double cleanse and follow with vanicream cleanser. I have dry sensitive skin.
Thank you so much for all your advice Dr. Idriss! I recently found you and you have already helped me so much. I’m 29 and just barely starting a skin care routine. I recently had my first baby and breastfeeding. I saw your video regarding what is safe during pregnancy. Could you make one for breastfeeding? I’m suffering with acne and hyperpigmentation and I was left with a few unanswered questions after watching your pregnancy video. Thank you!
Love these!! Could you go over the difference in oils and which are best/best for the different skin types? Ie: squalane, jojoba, marula, argan, baby oil, etc
(oily skin) I use aha bha foaming cleanser at Night after double cleansing step 1 , I apply it on dry face without any water, keep rubbing it for about 2-3 mins and wash it off, it controlled oil on my face and Keep acne issue at bay
I think it was Dr. Dray who was saying that Olive Oil on your skin is a bad idea due to some certain compounds (super nerdy stuff). Hair great, but skin bad.
@@26Bluegb thanks, but I don’t rely on just one dermatologist. I do research. It works for me. I wouldn’t want to leave it on my skin but I love it in the cleanser!
@@TheCHLOEDU78 it does mine too. I use a little on my lids and lashes, wipe it off, then take my mascara off with coconut oil or Estée Lauder eye makeup remover.
You spend money on an expensive cleanser because you love the smell, you love the packaging, it cleans your skin leaves it soft not dry, its a pleasure to look at feel and use. It lifts your spirits, provides aroma therapy and makes you feel marvelous, thats why. I always wash my face in the am with a fab smelling cleanser, water is not enough
For Oil Cleansing I think you might just feel this way because you've tried heavier or more poorly emulsified cleansers. Well emulsified ones shouldn't leave any residue at all and rinse cleanly. The Kose SPEEDY cleansing oil is one like that. It rinses so cleanly it can even be used as a solo cleanser. I see you gravitate toward normal cleansers with oils for that reason but there's plenty of other choices! As for water-based cleansers, very gentle cleansers with enough cleansing power to get off makeup and SPF definitely exist as well :) Gentleness and cleansing power are often not as related as people think they are. You can have gentle cleansers with high cleansing power and harsh cleansers that can barely take off makeup at all. Some favorites that fit this style are - Pipette Baby Wash and Shampoo Fragrance Free. Gentlest and has a slightly nourishing finish due to the Squalane. I have used this 5x in a single session to demonstrate its gentleness with no tight or dry feeling whatsoever as someone with very dry type skin so I'm the most likely to be impacted negatively by this. Its a perfect morning cleanser for any skin type, but some oilier people may want the more neutral finish ones that are similarly gentle. - Aveeno Daily Moisturizing FACIAL cleanser. Neutral Finish - Simple Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel. Neutral Finish - Trader Joe's Nourish All In One Facial Cleanser. Just a touch less gentle than the Simple cleanser. These I would say are similarly gentle to the LRP Hydrating Gentle Cleanser or the Aveeno Calm and Resore Oat Cleanser but have excellent cleansing power in a single pass. Due to the gentler surfactants they use and the concentrations they are in, they give a very thorough but not stripping cleanse. These are all fragrance free, essential oil free, no fragrant extracts, and very affordable! I hope you get to try them out and like them :)
The point Dr Idriss makes about the water temperature is so important, especially in winter and if you like a scalding hot shower. A word of the wise - your face doesn't! This last winter I almost wrecked my skin barrier like this and ALL of my (rather plain and active-free) skin care stung for a week until the skin healed. 0/10... And thank you Dr Idriss for always pointing out the importance of being mindful and critical about our information sources. Disinformation is so rampant nowadays on thousands of topic, way being skincare, but indeed skincare is as a good a place to start as any when unlearning pieces of mis- and disinformation. Use those skills folks...
Thank you for your quality content!!! It's crazy how I went from watching dumb people telling to use coconut oil and baking soda on the face ( yeah I did that 🤦♀️) to finding your videos and completely changing my skincare. Thank You 😊😘🧡
Your complexion is lovely ! I just discovered your channel this evening & have really enjoyed it. I'm going to subscribe. I have 10 bamboo washcloths. I use one to rinse my face ....it's less messy than splashing water on my face....then I use a clean dry washcloth to dry my face. The cloths are so soft & nice. The next night I use the cloth I used to dry my face to rinse my face....& get another cloth for drying my face. So....each cloth is used twice (first for drying , then for rinsing), then goes in the laundry.
Hi Dr. Idriss ! Love your videos ! I'd love to see you talk about procedures such as microdermabrasion, microneedling, clear+brilliant, etc and for who they are best for !
Dr Idriss, your intros seriously crack me up😂 Would love to see a video on how to best care for our faces during perimenopause. In the last year, I've noticed more closed comedones (cheeks) and hormonal acne popping up on chin, every few months 😠
I would love love love a video on sulfur-based products and how they work. they are helping me with my hormonal blemishes but apparently, it's good for rosacea too,and granado recommend their sulfur bar soap even on the scalp. sounds like a secret gem to me.
-Wash your face with water in the morning. Save your skin barrier. - wash your face with cleanser in the evening. Get rid of the toxicity of life. -put your hair back -double cleanse. Micellular water then cleanser. If cleanser has an active like salacidic acid let it sit. "Do you slap the cleanser on?... Do you do this? NO. Gently massage the cleanser into your face" 😅 -dry face - hot water strips skin. Luke warm water. - change face drying towel daily Thank you dr. I love you
Loveeee all of your videos! I’d love to hear your thoughts on two topics: 1. Derm reaction to Billie Eilish’s skincare routine 2. Stretch Marks: Myths, Treatments, Causes, etc!
I've been using the bioderma shower oil on my face once a day and it's absolutely perfect, plus it saves money, as you don't need to buy separate facial cleanser (many of them are overpriced anyways)
I'm glad I found your comment cause I was about to ask if that oil works for the face too. Since she wasn't really clear on if she only uses it for her body. Although I think at this point we've all learned that most products that are for the body can also be used on the face. I know you say you don't wear makeup but I'd like to purchase it and see if I can use it as a makeup remover as well.
Hi Dr. Idriss! Could you make a video on scalp care? Mainly these are my questions: 1. Is sun protection for your scalp necessary even if you have (thick) hair? 2. Product recommendations besides hats? Specific sun protection products for the scalp are quite expensive. I would like to know if there are any good dupes out there.
I’ve tried Bioderma shower oil and La Roche Posay one and I liked both. But now I will try the shower cream by La Roche Posay because these oils leave some residue on the floor of my shower… I am very interested in trying the shower cream because that’s one product I never tried before 🙂 You are the absolute gem! I love your videos you are my favorite dermatologist online (or ever, really) ❤❤❤
Very good video 😊 I personally love the oil cleanser from CeraVe. It's not as a usual oil cleanser used on dry skin. I use it on wet and it's melting down everything. I love it for the shower and bath as well. My whole body loves it 😊
I know skincare is serious I am sensitive mature dry with occular rosacea Honestly doctor you are so REAL I do laugh out loud And I do listen and follow🎉 Thank you
I love you, and you are amazing! I started only washing my face with water in the morning for about a year and a half now and that was a game changer for my skin. One of the best tips I’ve ever taken, thank you Dr. Idriss!
I’m 53 years old and dealing with menopause and acne mostly on my left side of my face . Funny thing I sleep mostly on my right side lol . I am currently using Vanicream and it’s daily moisturizer hope this helps . Thank you for all your great help
I wish you gave more detail about rinsing your face without splashing water everywhere! You were so neat during the video ... I wash in my evening shower, and rinse with a wet microfiber face cloth. I can use a single mild cleanser; the cloth takes off everything the cleanser didn't.
Krave beauty matcha hemp cleanser is unbelievable. I was shocked at how well it takes makeup off and is super gentle. I also love CeraVe cream to foam cleanser
Cleanser that cleanses perfectly and removes all makeup without stripping skin and without need of a 2nd cleanse: High efficiency cleaner by Hylamide (Deciem) - it's ester based and doesn't leave an oily residue, however it's been discontinued but still available until stock lasts. I love It in winter especially when my skin can get easily more dry.
Thank you for the video!! What should we use during summer to remove the sunscreen on our body (legs, arms, etc.)? Is a shower gel enough? Also, can you do a video on body creams / oils etc. suitable for the summer? Love from Romania ❤️
Try Dove Beauty Bar! Any scent you like will work on the body! You can use the sensitive (fragrance-free) version on the groin area + face. The dove sensitive and original white bar was recommended by dermatologists as a gentle facial cleaner before Cerave.
Omg. I've been having problem with irritation due to morning face wash. I feel like I should wash them (my face are oily, but very sensitive 🥺). Anyone I know also do face wash in the morning. Thank you for reassuring that it isn't necessary (as my skin does like them) , water is enough.
About 10 years ago i tried L'Occitane almond oil facial cleanser. It was the best cleanser i had ever used. I never used makeup but i use thick oily sunscreen and i cycled to work. The oil cleanser really cleaned the thick suncreen, dusts, sweat etc, no need for 2nd cleaning and no tight, dry feeling. Too bad it was pulled off the market not long after that.
Love the video, short, sweet and chock-full of knowledge - and I DO love your long videos too! Please help demistify the topic of tretinoin or retinol on the scalp (as scalp is an extension of our facial skin) to slow down sagging of skin and also care for skin on the elbows - the wrinkling gets to me 😖. Merci beaucoup! 😘
Merci merci merci!!!!! Always informative even for the most basic step of skincare routine!! Can you talk about hair? For us women who are losing hair post partum…. Hair is thinning like crazy! How to address that? Merci encore pour tout!
*Double Cleanse/ Cerave SA cleanser* . I'm 55, wear minimal make-up. I will try the micellar water as I find many "make-up" removing oils/balms to be to occlusive on my oily/combo skin. I find myself having to use more of the S.A cleanser. My skin is currently enjoying a cleanse in the A.M. and P.M. during this hot NY summer. Thanks for your great info and down to earth humor.
Hi Dr Idriss! I love your videos so much and they have completely changed my skin. Thank you thank you thank you! I was wondering if you'd be open to doing an episode on skincare before/after a workout? I exercise usually once a day and it'd be helpful to know if I should be treating my skin any differently.
Love the video! I would love to see a video about "dermatologist tested/recommended/developed by". What do those mean? What are the standards? I feel like I see it SO MUCH on skin care.
I heart you!! You crack me up. Have you ever used Dr. Sam’s Flawless Cleanser? She claims that you don’t need a pre-wash. I still do a pre-wash but wanted to hear your thoughts.
Excellent video, great tips and very helpful information! I am so very happy to have found you. This is the 3rd video I have seen. I would love more on Rosaceae/acne skin care especially for older women (60+). My derm doesn't have time for more than refilling my prescriptions. I wish I had a derm that had a little more than 8 minutes or that I could make an appointment sooner than every 6 months.
I use DHC cleansing oil because it doesn’t leave residue behind. None! I have dry skin and it makes my skin happy and clean. Love your videos. Thanks for all your tips, tricks and advice! Would you do a video on A313? Have you used it?
@@GoBlueGirl78 dang I feel stupid! 😂 Yes I found the video. I had watched a utuber say how strong it is and all the problems she had at first. I was wanting a more in-depth, Dr. Idriss perspective. Thanks hon! Have a great weekend!

I would love to have a video on how to do micro needling safely at home with a pen. I know several terms don't recommend it because people can do a lot of damage to themselves but that's all more of a reason to teach us safe practice from start to finish. Love your content
Hi Shereene ! I’d love for you to talk about peri oral dermatitis, I’ve been struggling with it for a few months and don’t really know what to do… You’re the best skin care source on TH-cam 😘
I’ve been used only soley microfibre clothes with warm water for facial cleansing since I got severe eczema by pregnancy 10yrs ago. This is what could be called ‘non-chemical’; but only physical. I have very thin, weak, dry and fragile skin and always get trouble by sunlight, cold or hot weather, low or high humidity, pH chages and etc. I tried and failed every chemical cleanser for decades. Then I found that microfibre clothes for only water cleasing-that’s what they are exactly made for, not for applyng cleanser or toner. Then it changed my life. People ask me how my face looks so young and clean. They know I am in the middle of 40s and still have eczema on my fingers, nail beds, scalp or earflaps where shampoo or body cleanser contacts. I do not say this is the only clansing method I trust. My teenage daughter has totally different skin type with me as she took after her father, so that she needs to use acne remedy for oily skin type. All I can say is, there must be a lot of people suffered from usual chemical cleansing in the world and someone finally figured it out thoroughly. And I deeply thank to him or her and admire his or her creature in my bathroom in the every morning and night.

I've been using Neutrogena oil-free acne wash since my high school days, rarely ever ever have any breakouts. Love it👌
just need to say how AMAZINGLY INCREDIBLE you are and how thankful i am for you, Dr.
What do you find happens with just the Bioderma? Not cleansing enough?
@@EC-fm3vb Surprisinly is the one that doesn’t strip my skin because I have very dry skin. But when I want a deep cleansing I swich to Oleo Gel from Instituto Espanol. Like Bioderma is a cleansing oil but it does a deeper cleansing than Bioderma. Here in Portugal you can find this cleansing oil in almost every store.
Try a cleansing balm instead
I also prefer to break up makeup and sunscreen with a natural oil. After watching a few dermatologists' videos on what oils are good for the face, I decided to use apricot kernel oil on some days and rose hip seed oil on other days.
Oh boy! How radiant she looks without makeup
Excellent video, as usual, but this one she is teaching us with a light soul, to real life needs. Thank you Dr Shreene.
Same!
I also love my bamboo reusable rounds. So soft and cleans up great in the wash saving me so much money.
@@saraleblanc2853 I use Norwex microfiber. Love them. I haven’t seen bamboo rounds. Where do you purchase those?
@@lisapierce525 I got mine from The Good Fill (a zero waste store) but lots of places sell them now.
@@saraleblanc2853 thank you!
I really enjoy your videos. I especially like how honest you are about skin care.
Stopping the morning cleanse helped my skin so much! Only double cleanse at night with an oil based cleanser and a cream cleanser.
if i washed my skin in the morning with only water should i still put moisturizer and sunscreen??
The energy is palpable this morning! ❤️
I love this girl. She is cute, real, effective, informative and funny. Plus her accent ughhh ❤
I only use an oil cleanser or a Micellar water in the morning (because I wear a heavy night cream). Something gentle but still effective.
Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser is my holy grail product! 👏 👏 👏
DCH olive oil cleanser is literally the most Perfect oil cleanser ever. It washes off thoroughly with water. No film behind.
Agreed!
I hate that cleanser, it burns my eyes
@@TheCHLOEDU78 it does mine too. I use a little on my lids and lashes, wipe it off, then take my mascara off with coconut oil or Estée Lauder eye makeup remover.
You spend money on an expensive cleanser because you love the smell, you love the packaging, it cleans your skin leaves it soft not dry, its a pleasure to look at feel and use. It lifts your spirits, provides aroma therapy and makes you feel marvelous, thats why. I always wash my face in the am with a fab smelling cleanser, water is not enough
Which cleanser
Some favorites that fit this style are
- Pipette Baby Wash and Shampoo Fragrance Free.
Neutral Finish
- Simple Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel. Neutral Finish
- Trader Joe's Nourish All In One Facial Cleanser.
Also the oat cleansing balm from inkey list followed by their fulvic acid is my most favourite combo ever !
@@vickyvratti6652 the oat cleansing balm leaves a residue tho. Not a fan.
you are right, there are many other choice in the market
I really love your personality ❤️ I’m laughing & learning at the same time. Salamat 🙏
Thank you for your quality content!!! It's crazy how I went from watching dumb people telling to use coconut oil and baking soda on the face ( yeah I did that 🤦♀️) to finding your videos and completely changing my skincare. Thank You 😊😘🧡
I've started using a micellar water in the morning and it's made a big difference! Cleansing was too much and water wasn't enough.
I just turned 33 and needed this demo so bad❤❤❤ Thank you!!!
Hi Dr. Idriss ! Love your videos ! I'd love to see you talk about procedures such as microdermabrasion, microneedling, clear+brilliant, etc and for who they are best for !
Yessss. A laser video would be great. So many options: fraxel, C&B, moxi, bbl, genesis, etc.
Please try one of the best polish cosmetics - BasicLab and Skintra. Love them! ♥️
I love your no nonsense advice for skincare 😊
Another great video Dr. Idriss, with this heat wave I'll be washing my face all day.
-Wash your face with water in the morning. Save your skin barrier.
- wash your face with cleanser in the evening. Get rid of the toxicity of life.
-put your hair back
-double cleanse. Micellular water then cleanser. If cleanser has an active like salacidic acid let it sit. "Do you slap the cleanser on?... Do you do this? NO. Gently massage the cleanser into your face" 😅
-dry face
- hot water strips skin. Luke warm water.
- change face drying towel daily
Thank you dr. I love you
Loved your videos . I learn a lot in a straightforward and short manner . I appreciate you.
Apparently the Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil has the effect of a double cleanse in one product. It fully emulsifies with water
Loveeee all of your videos!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on two topics:
1. Derm reaction to Billie Eilish’s skincare routine
2. Stretch Marks: Myths, Treatments, Causes, etc!
This is skincare 101 that everybody needs!
Love, love, love your videos Dr Idriss! I’d just love to see you test and review more cruelty-free brands and products 💗🐰
Me too, that would help a lot
OMG! I love that you swear! It's so real.
Have you tried “The Ordinary Squalene cleanser”… it’s wonderful! Removes spf/makeup, yet gentle & moisturizing.
I've been using the bioderma shower oil on my face once a day and it's absolutely perfect, plus it saves money, as you don't need to buy separate facial cleanser (many of them are overpriced anyways)
Do you use it as a first cleanse or cleansing oil?
@@Luvanmusiq I use it as the only cleansing step in my routine, as I don't wear makeup. It washes off sunscreen and stuff like that pretty easily.
Mainly these are my questions:
But now I will try the shower cream by La Roche Posay because these oils leave some residue on the floor of my shower… I am very interested in trying the shower cream because that’s one product I never tried before 🙂
You are the absolute gem!
Thank you for educating us! It's great that you don't assume that we already know these things. 🌸
So I started using Bioderma Miceklar water...I love it
Thank you for the video!!
Loving these back to basics videos Dr Idriss! Please keep them coming and thank you for what you do! 😍🙏🏻🙌🏻
I simply use organic Almond oil, remove gently with a wet wash cloth and then wash twice with my cleanser!
Love this. Would also like a "how to shower' 101 class. Is a loofah safe or washcloth etc or how to exfoliate in shower would be nice 👍

Far out this woman is amazing 🤩 her advice is literally priceless 🫶🏼🙌🏼

Always love you’re Videos.
