Hello! I received your skincare line today in the mail. I’m super excited! Back in March I had severe hormonal acne due from the hormone pellets. I’ve stopped taking them. The acne is gone but the discoloration from the acne is still here. I know this will take time to heal. I’m super excited, thank you for educating us about skin care. I think I have watched every video of yours! 😊
Thank you very much for the in depth information on many subjects. I really appreciate this support, as I see it. There’s a crazy world of skin health/ care out there and reading and listening to this channel has given a lot of insights. Thank you!

Yes I want more info for neck and chest ! I kept getting rashes all over on my neck until I stopped using retinoids but used them before with no problems
Brilliant hack with the micellar water! The one I use costs the earth, but I have super sensitive skin and I love it. It should hope it last much longer.
Omg same with the pajamas! I swear I put way more effort into my bedtime outfit than my day time one! I always want to be cute after my nightime skin care routine. Nightime is for ME, daytime is for sunscreen and responsibilities lol
I’ve been using the major fade line since May and my skin is amazing!! I haven’t had a pimple in months and I get some many compliments specifically on my skin (which was a bit strange a first lol)

Hey dr Shereen i love your videos and watch them everyday but i just wanted to give a tip , the reason your cleanser isn't cleaning well bc your using it on dry skin you should dampen first then wash with your hands for 60 sec bc the cleanser is water based adding water alows to activate the cleanser . Hope u reply to this
I make skincare videos in english and I am French living in France. I make recommendations from different countries including European countries. It might interest you.
Honestly go the pharmacy or supermarket, typically all you can need it there in europe. Research about skincare ingredients and products from brands like La Roche Posay, Avene, Vichy, Weleda; that is what I did when I no longer had access to Cetaphil and Missha.
That's the first time I've heard that your neck often can't tolerate a retinol, but that kind of explains a lot for me. I don't really have sensitive skin on my face at all -- I use prescription tretinoin every night and have never had a reaction. But I've tried using Necessaire's body retinol on my neck, and it made my neck red and inflamed. At the time, I was considering the neck part of the body, but since watching your videos, I now include it with the face. But anyways, my neck oddly seems to be more sensitive than my face, because if I also apply the tretinoin there every night, it becomes mildly irritated. I can apply it every so often there without a reaction though. It's a shame because right now, my neck needs the most help out of my face, neck, and decolletage. I've lost a lot of weight since the start of COVID (~120 and I still have ~80 more to go), and it's destroyed my neck skin. I guess I just don't have as much collagen as I used to there, because my neck itself has gotten smaller but the stretched skin there is still a bit loose :(.
Can you clarify for me that Tretinoin is stronger than the Avene RetinAL. I have never used a Retinol product and jumped straight to the Avene RetinAL and seem to be tolerating it just fine. I have rosacea prone skin and I was nervous but have not seen any issues with redness or skin peeling. Is that what you would expect is not tolerating RetinAL? Thank you for all of your helpful info!!!
I am not a doctor but from what I have learned is that Tretinoin is the strongest of the vitamin A because it does not require conversion on the skin. RetinAl requires one step conversion. Retinol requires two step conversion.
How long should you wait to go to bed for all that amazing skincare to sink into the skin? Also, do you recommend the ordinary's copper peptide serum as an affordable alternative to the one you used here?
Just started your Major Fade System ! Can I still use Tretinoin with it? Also is your husband a dentist? I only ask because he's so diligent about flossing his teeth! As am I !💜
Hello!! Thank you so much for the social media education you do, and with the genuine spirit in which you do it! I’ve really connected with your story and even as an already skin nerd - I’ve learned so much! There are a couple topics I’d love to hear more about in future: 1) I have Celiac disease and I don’t notice any reactions topically but I wonder if I’d be causing low level systemic inflammation by using products with gluten - is gluten too large to cross the skin barrier/is this a non-issue? 2) Dry, acne-prone skin + super dry environment :’( I want to use products that will help kill bacteria but am wary of some of the go-to recommendations like PanOxyl. Any recommendations for the very dry skin - acne prone combo? 3) Properties of different kinds of face oils (argan, vs jojoba, vs others) and how to use them (very dry environment + dry skin so helpful to have the lock-in power, but not ok in the morning under sunscreen?)
Regarding 2: many products that restore your skin barrier/help keep your skin barrier stay in a good shape will be good for acne too. I personally have dehydrated combination skin (oily in the t-zone, normal to dry on the cheeks) and using hydrating (if your skin lacks oil, you need moisturising products too) products underneath my face cream or sunscreen has made such a difference for my acne and skin barrier. Many anti-acne products are formulated for oily skin, but there are great products for dry acne-prone skin too. You could try avoiding high amounts of denatured alcohol and harsh cleansers, as both can dry out your skin very quickly. Also, cassandra bankson (medical esthetician here on youtube) has a ton of videos on acne with lots of useful information on ingredients, application and different acne-related skin concerns. Go check her out ;)
I have a few questions about the lip basting. 1. Is it ok to do if you have lip filler? 2. Cannn I use the flashmask 😂 3. Why do we not let it sit then wash it off before the weleda? TY!! Waiting on my most recent PTD order and super excited!! 😂❤
I love love love your videos, thank you! This is exactly what I needed for my skin care. Do you have any recommended product for droopy eye lid? One eye lid is droopier than the other, sometimes I look like Quasimodo less the hunchback. I've been using a serum that has Q10, it kinda helps. Anyway thank you for all your videos I share them with my daughter, nieces and sisters.
Please recommend affordable version of Allies of skin peptides antioxidant serum? What do you think of Matrixyl serum by Depology? Need beautiful alternatives like these for those who can't tolerate retinoids even mildest , sensitive and delicate skin 40s? Help please
Is there a pregnancy/breastfeeding safe alternative to retinol? I’ve had almost 4 kids in the last 5.5 years, and my skin is definitely paying for it. Having my 4th kid on Monday, and plan on breastfeeding for around 1-1.5 years ☺️
When do you expect to offer refills for the Pillowtalk Derm Hyper Serum and Active Seal? I’m so excited for that day! Getting close to needing to reorder.
First of all I love your videos and I have your products and absolutely love them but just curious if you could make a suggestion on something else that I can add to my skin regimen for more mature skin with winkles. I use retinol nightly but I feel like I need to do more. Any suggestions for products or just your advice would be wonderful.❤
I’m confused by a couple of things hoping you can clarify please: -you cannot use L absorbic Vitamin C with Cooper peptides? - the glycolic acid was applied first to your lips and then a heavy cream for exfoliation?
I'm interested to hear if you have an opinion about the Paula's Choice Omega+ Complex Cleansing Balm for us dry, cruelty free, sensitive souls out here. I value your take on different products, especially since there isn't a Major Fade cleanser yet. The Major Fade serum is my hero product!
Question: would using a face oil (like hada labo’s cleansing oil) to remove your makeup/sunscreen be better since you rub it into your skin rather than pulling on your eyes with the wipe etc?
Can you please recommend the weekly routine with actives. I have oily, acne prone sensitive skin with sebaceous filaments and redness with dark spots. I’m using Adapalene gel every night and BHA and AHA 2 times a week on a different days. How can I add Benzoyl Peroxide and Sulfur masks to my routine? Should I even do that?
I switched to a 0.05% prescription retinoid and put it on my neck, but over a thick moisturizer *and* more moisturizer on top. I was able to apply it on my face and neck directly after cleansing, but only with a 0.025% tretinoin. I'm still working up my tolerance with this stronger percentage but my goal is to use it every night. Love retinoids on the neck!
I double cleanse my face, I apply toner, let it dry, then I put on tretinoin 0.025% all over my face including my eyes & neck. Let it absorb for 5 minutes, then apply a thick moisturizer on top. Then when I’m laying in bed I apply argan oil all over my face and do a lymphatic massage on my face an neck with a face tool. 😊
Thank you again for another informative video. I have a question regarding eye cream, what is the appropriate age to begin using eye creams? I know you said not all eye creams are the same and that one shouldn’t use them, if it’s not doing a specific job. What sighs on our skin should we look for when thinking about introducing an eye cream to your skin care routine?
Love your videos Shereene and thank you for all you do! Question, I stopped using a retinol cream under my eyes because it was really drying out my already dry 48 year old under eyes? Advise on how to use a retinol cream under eyes and avoiding intense dryness as a result?? Thank you.
Heii, so I'm not wrinkled yet but I do use a retinol cream specifically made for the eyes to combat my dark circles. those are usually much more gentle and formulated in a way to avoid these issues. Hope this helps :)
Hi Dr. Idriss! Question, I'm muslim and I pray 5x/day and require washing up before doing so (ablution) so my morning skincare lasts about 2-4 hours on my face and my night skin care lasts about 6-8 hours. My question is, how many hours does an active (say retinoid, vitamin c, peptides, etc.) need to be on the skin to yield maximum results? Or does it not matter at all? I'd appreciate your answer!
I really doubt something like that has been studied so all the answers would be just guesses that what you do is probably ok. With the exception of sunscreen which needs to be reapplied.
1)Micellar Water and cotton pad
2) Cleanser on dry skin rinsed with wet rag
3) Eye cream under and above and massage from inside out
4) Glycolic Acid on lips
5) Exfoliating acid applied to lips
6) Retinol or occasionally expensive serum (sorry don’t know what specifics go with that product)
7) Hyper serum
8)Retinol under eyes
9) Retinal cream (step above retinol)
10) Moisturizer half a pump per face
11) If need extra hydration use vaseline or an elegant version of vaseline as a cream ( tap face **optional* )
Done!! Hope this helps!
Thanks! 😊
Wow! That is a lot of steps and layers to put on your face before bed. Not something I would be willing to do!
Step 5 is Weleda Skin Food Cream
Can you put the thick occlusive cream on last step over Tretinoin?
@@cherieshepherd8353people have differing opinions on this. Some doctors recommend using trent with a sandwich layering. How long should you wait to go to bed for all that amazing skincare to sink into the skin? Also, do you recommend the ordinary's copper peptide serum as an affordable alternative to the one you used here?
Hope you feel better and heal fast x
u can skip cotton pad as it makes ur skin more creapy and use cleansing oil instead with ur fingers.
Could you please review the products of The Body Shop? Specifically the ones with vitamin C
I didn't know about spraying micellar water on your face to save product, will defo try that
Hi Doc. Greetings from Florida. I want to know what kind of face towel are you using? Thanks!
Hi Dr Idriss. Can you please do a video for hyperpigmentation and anti-aging for BROWN or DARK SKIN ? Thank you
Just started your Major Fade System ! Can I still use Tretinoin with it? Also is your husband a dentist? I only ask because he's so diligent about flossing his teeth! As am I !💜
A video on growth factors or korean home devices (medicube)?
Hello!! Thank you so much for the social media education you do, and with the genuine spirit in which you do it! I’ve really connected with your story and even as an already skin nerd - I’ve learned so much! There are a couple topics I’d love to hear more about in future:
1) I have Celiac disease and I don’t notice any reactions topically but I wonder if I’d be causing low level systemic inflammation by using products with gluten - is gluten too large to cross the skin barrier/is this a non-issue?
Loved this routine and your sense of humor is a plus💖👑
I love ,La roche posay Redermic eye cream and bobbi brown extra eye repair cream . Is a ver good dúo !
Love this so much!! I need to try out the Bioderma in a spritzer. Super excited to try out the depuffer soon as well!
Help please
Where do you like to get your pajamas? I’ve seen so many in your videos!
Hi Dr. Shereene can you please talk about using a chemical exfoliant and eating vitamin D while having a laser hair treatment?
Is there a pregnancy/breastfeeding safe alternative to retinol?
I’ve had almost 4 kids in the last 5.5 years, and my skin is definitely paying for it.
Having my 4th kid on Monday, and plan on breastfeeding for around 1-1.5 years ☺️

Fwiw, I love the vanicream cleaner because it *doesn't* burn my eyes
I also use Vanicream on my eyes to remove all the oil and makeup that is left behind after my oil cleanse. Doesn’t burn one bit.
When do you expect to offer refills for the Pillowtalk Derm Hyper Serum and Active Seal? I’m so excited for that day! Getting close to needing to reorder.
Congrats on winning the allure award beauty !! I love all your videos 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 thanks for the amazing info on skin care !!! You are so fun 🤩

Thank you Doc. Shereene! Appreciate You! I’m learning every Saturday❤😊🎉
When is The Depuffer going to be restocked?!? Love your content and can’t wait to try your skincare line!
First of all I love your videos and I have your products and absolutely love them but just curious if you could make a suggestion on something else that I can add to my skin regimen for more mature skin with winkles. I use retinol nightly but I feel like I need to do more. Any suggestions for products or just your advice would be wonderful.❤
Hope that shiner heals up well!
Love my Saturday mornings with you :). Could you please do a video on luxury skincare?
Really wish I could try your products in Canada!
I’m confused by a couple of things hoping you can clarify please:
-you cannot use L absorbic Vitamin C with Cooper peptides?
- the glycolic acid was applied first to your lips and then a heavy cream for exfoliation?
Yes to neck products for well aging!
What do you think of “face balms” vs moisturizers and night creams?
I'm interested to hear if you have an opinion about the Paula's Choice Omega+ Complex Cleansing Balm for us dry, cruelty free, sensitive souls out here. I value your take on different products, especially since there isn't a Major Fade cleanser yet. The Major Fade serum is my hero product!
you look so glowing!😍😍
What type of wash cloths were you using? I love your color coding!
Thank you as always! How does the Allies of Skin compare to Skinmedica TNS?
also would like to know thoughts on this!!
Will love a Video explain has incorporade peptides in a day and night routine 😍
Can't wait for your products sold in Canada ❤
Thank you again for another informative video. I have a question regarding eye cream, what is the appropriate age to begin using eye creams? I know you said not all eye creams are the same and that one shouldn’t use them, if it’s not doing a specific job. What sighs on our skin should we look for when thinking about introducing an eye cream to your skin care routine?
Dear doctor, Is it true that epilation reduces hair growth? How to calm the skin after epilation (red rashes)? Please make a video on it.
Please choose a retinol product that comes in a moisturizing vehicle. If you still need moisture, use an extra non-retinol cream or facial oil.
Hi Dr.
So pleased to have found this question, as a Muslim, I too have the same concern. I hope Dr Sheerene sees this and answers 🙏
