    They look so nice Kelly. I like the water color look also, it seems to flow and melt together. Waterclor reminds me of marble. As always.... I LOVE it!

    I've used my sprays on gel plate,, no problem. I did, however, clean it afterwards, as the ink stains the plate.

    Kelli, if you brush a streak of plain water on the back side of the tags, they won't curl.

    I am taking my plate out this morning for the first time. I was wondering about watercolor and gouache bc I use them so much. Great video! The Mod Podge is amazing! No smear!

    If you take a drop of soap dish soap, and spread it on the plate, the watercolor won’t beat up as much

    I think we used to use liquid detergent to make the watercolor cling to the surface. There is also a medium you can buy for that. Too bad about the focus on the camera..

    • @knittingandthings
      @knittingandthings  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I finally took my auto focus off because it would go in and out too much. I will look into the detergent. Thank you!!

    I don’t think the sprays will harm your plate even if it has alcohol in it as you can use alcohol inks on the plate.

    I wouldn’t use the mod lodge or any kind of glue on gelli plate as it will mess it up over time

    I have been looking for some watercolors in the tubs like that! I don't have any at all and need some! I love them and acrylics and I have got to get those as well to paint with. Where did you get those in the tubes? What should I get 1st to afford the tube watercolors or the tube acrylics? Love all the effects you did! Have a blessed day!

    I thought you could mix with a tiny drop of dish soap so it dosnt bead on the gelli

    The Dylusions are water based so they should be fine on the Gelli Plate. Although I would imagine that they would stain it as they are like a dye. Never knew that the watercolors would work with it though. Great video, thanks! :)

      Staining isnt a problem. Have you watched Denise Lush use hers?
