I watched your video and thought I would add my way of making a faux gelli plate. I have a padded envelope that I covered in a plastic bag, it makes brilliant prints and virtually no cost.

Thanks for sharing some interesting gelli and faux gelli plate videos. I don't have a gelli plate and use an old computer mouse mat inside a zip lock bag which works very well. I went to a gelli plate class to see how the results differed and if I should invest in a proper gelli plate but I decided to stick with what I have for now.

Hello Kelly, I'm so happy to see this video. I don't have a Gelliplate (it's on my birthday list) and I've been wanting to try something like this for sometime. I do have kids foam so I'm going to play around with it this weekend.
Also, I'm excited about the pastels you are doing next. I don't have any but I can't wait to see them in action! If you are taking suggestions on what to do after that, I would love to see your mixed media interpretation of a fairy tale scene! Something like midsummer's night dream or Alice in wonderland or something like that! And you could totally go dark with things like that! :) That would be so cool to follow along with!

Hey Kelly... Great video! Yes I hear your fb beeping but does not bother me! Some times I think it's mine cause I have mine on too! I just love that wing you are always using and I would love to have one. I can't remember did you make a video on how you made it or not? I love angels and butterflies and humming birds. Hey can you do like with shaving cream and drop some colors down then take something to swirl the colors around then place paper over and lift?
Hi Kelly thanks for the demo.....I had a thought while watching this, what if you glued several sheets of foam 2gether (to make it thicker, like you said) and then laminated it, do you think that might work?? If you have a xyron you could laminate with that or they have clear contact paper at the $ store you could use. Let me know what you think, I value your opinion.
