    behind the scenes, at time=0:26, we can see some schematics for BVR: could you please tell where you found them

      These can be found in the Korea Training Theater for Falcon BMS. Our squadron shares all their training knowledge in the SOP document. Happy learning!

    hmm, are you using modified radars?

    • @__Dusty_
      @__Dusty_  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The radars are not modified, only the AIM120C, PL-12 & AA-12 - more accurate to RL data.

      @@__Dusty_ I ask cause i noticed some weird detection ranges like 80+nms Which doesnt add up. F-16blk 50 nominal radar detection range 35nm x J-11 Rcs of 1.3=45.4nms. Add an additional 1.3 multiplier if in ULS and you get 59.1. So i am baffled by this 88nm lock range i see. Does the VSR mode you use have some significance?

    • @__Dusty_
      @__Dusty_  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lupahole Hi again, just to update - The block 50 in KTT uses the v9 radar (from the stock database) which has greater detection range vs the v5 which explains the greater detection range of 80nm in VSR. VSR does have a lot of significance though, it is far superior at detecting hot aspect targets at greater range. My understanding from reading the -34 is that ULS is modeled exactly the same as RWS so I'm not aware of the 1.3 multiplier from ULS. Do you have a reference for that?

    • @lupahole
      @lupahole 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@__Dusty_ Suspected as much. Regarding ULS, i've run tests and seen at ACMI my detection ranges and how they are modified in relation to RWS. After many tests my conclusion was a 1.3 multiplier. VSR is better however cause it does not suffer from slower sweep rate and seem to offer similar range bonuses (after it was updated).

      @@__Dusty_ Flightsimmers should know better than to think that any missile data is even remotely accurate.
