Thank you for this video! The F15 seems to have so much potential on BMS, but for me *not that smart* it has been very challenging to figure out. Thank you again.
So how would I set up a dual throttle for the cutoff detent like I have on the F16? ie I pull all the way rear into the detent, and it cuts the engine off. I push forward and it sets it into the forward idle "detent" (using "CUTOFF RELEASE - idle detent - idle" and "CUTOFF RELEASE - idle detent - off" for the two switch positions I don't see it separated out in the command list? my throttle (winwing orion2) has button commands for both the cutoff OFF position, and the cutoff IDLE position, on both left and right engine...
Hey! Since making this video I upgraded to a winwing Orion base as well (F15EX version). So it’s totally possible by using those commands. I’m away from the PC but I’ll double check what I set and get back to you. There should be specific binds for both engines though
Why don't you guys publish just a simple compact table of necessary keybinding. That way you don't need to watch an entire video for setting some keybindings
You don't need to watch an entire video to set your keybindings. The -1 (referenced in this video) has all the necessary HOTAS controls outlined with the minimum necessary information. This video is for those in the community who prefer to learn by watching a video.
@@__Dusty_ Dude, I'm so sorry, you are right. I was looking inside the folder "04 Other Aircraft" and there is only a simple image of the F-15 cockpit. But under Falcon BMS 4.37\Docs\02 Aircraft Manuals & Checklists\02 F-15C\" I now see wonderful documentations.
@@RedTail1-1 I'm making tutorials while I'm learning the basics, because most "Profis" forgot what beginner difficulties existed when they began to learn it. Also it does not cost a lot of energy to insert some text in the video or an image explaining few important details.
I'm a moron @07:21 I start saying 'TDC' when really I am referencing the 'Castle Switch' which acts similar to the DMS of the Viper.
just a quick question: where can I get the flight manual?
Holy Jesus! What is this?!?! What the heck is this? So much precious info & guide for F-15c in Falcon BMS!!! Thank you Sir!
I actually didn't know BMS had the eagle. How cool :D
