  • Challenging approach to VILH "Leh" in far northern India.
    Situated on the Indus valley with towering mountains on all sides, Leh sits at a field elevation of 10,900ft. This airport is a VFR only arrival and departure with no jeppesen procedures or charts available.
    The altitude and approach require a non-standard Flap-3 configuration in the A320 with a close base to final leg flown visually at a high ground speed.

    I loved it. great work as usual! The mountains near the crosswind section of the approach looked gorgeous

      Thanks Serpent! Yeah this airport really blows my mind - I can't imaging just living at 10,000ft all year round with such crazy mountains as far as the eye can see.
