There are many methods and products on the market today, but have you thought about using good old food?
Food is in my opinion one of the best ways to strengthen your jaw. Jaw exercises don't need to be done if you are eating tough foods, and chewing them a lot.
    -----------------
IMPORTANT TIP: Remember to chew your food more! Practice chewing your food until it is completely dissolved in your mouth. After a while you will get used to this and it will become your regular chewing technique.
Practice with a 20-30 minute chewing session from your favourite of the foods below.
List of foods mentioned in the video:
    1) RAW VEGETABLES:
    - Raw carrots
    - a piece of raw coconut
    - artichoke
    - raw leek
    - Raw beets
    - Raw cabbage
    - Raw Brussels sprouts
    - Raw celery
    -Raw Broccoli
    -Salads of any kind
    2) FRUITS & DRIED FRUITS
    -Apples (harder the better)
    -Hard peaches, nectarines
    -Pears
    -Dried Mango, dried apricots
    -Other dried fruits
    3) Tough Meats
    - Steak and other tough cuts of meat
    4) Nuts
    - Raw almonds (my favourite)
    - Pumpkin seeds
    - Cashews
    -Brazil nuts.
    - hazelnuts.
    - macadamias.
    - pine nuts.
    - pistachios.
    5. Beef Jerkeys (meat or meatless)

In India, we do have a tradition to chew the food 32 times to form a digestible bolus. A closed mouth, being mindful and chewing 32 times help a lot. You may try the Indian flatbread [Roti or chapatti], gives me a hell of a workout, more so than chewing 2 gums on each side. Foods with complex carbohydrates are the key i.e brown rice, whole wheat roti, meat [slightly undercooked white meat works too] etc. are good.

Today I had a vegan BLT that I made for lunch. It had 2 slices of Ezekiel bread, toasted, tempeh ‘bacon’ slices, tomato and spinach. It took so much chewing, that I could feel all of the muscles in my ‘double chin’ area being worked so hard! Made me realize, I could get rid of my little double chin (it goes away when I smile, just there when relaxed), just by eating foods that require a lot more chewing!!

If your lower jaw moves foreward then the theeth on your upper jaw need to reshape or move foreward also, if the theeth of the lower and upper jaw are already against each other with a closed mouth. So how does that work? I eet 5 times a day beacuse of a bodybuilding lifestyle and i eet healty and cook everything my self. Also i eat alot of nuts and chewy foods. I chew also alot but i is not that i see more muscle pacticulary on the jaws in the past years.

Jawline chewing gum. Im gonna buy some and try. It isn't cheap though ugh. My child's 8, needs ti expand the jaw or go for palate widening apparatus fitted for 1 year to prevent requiring braces and teeth extractions in adolescence.

    • @NoRockinMansLand
      @NoRockinMansLand ปีที่แล้ว

@@Muhmineen if your child is 8 and has crowded teeth or a narrow palate then he should be wearing removable expanders. Because at that age the bone itself is very malleable and susceptible to pushback so you can fix the issue with simple removable expanders. As for hard food I would say you should slowly introduce him/her to harder foods and make it part of the diet, and of course he should learn how to chew longer till its just mush. Also, correct tongue placement. That should be natural
