For those having problems getting the ore in the storage. Make sure it is The Specific Ore Storage your mining. Item storage wont work for ore, and you can't put other ore in a storage meant for a specific one. No copper in Iron. Has to be Copper in Copper.
A Squin mining operation, like the one in this video, is a great go-to for a first-time player. You will make more money over time as mining skill increases. Also, if you can get your miners some lanterns for light sources then it will significantly help your mining speed at night. Great passive income in the long-term if you are patient. You can even sell your ore directly from the storage containers to vendors. On top of that, the bandits (hungry and dust) that will attack you help you gain those first few levels of combat training.
There are 3 copper nodes just outside the city. One of them can only have 1 worker the other ones can only have 2. So you can have 5 people mining ore and bring it back to base I don’t even bother with iron

@@lonewolf4663 it should automatically take the ore when it's full if you have jobs on and it's for the job to mine, and to deposit the ore into the storage you built for it.

Lol he forget to mention that dont try to get attack while going to the resources.
When your trying to sell, take them off "jobs" and they will not auto ditch their resources
