    Your complete guide on using the DJI Osmo Action - I hope this helps seeing as there didn't seem to be a manual in the box for the Action!

    * A tutorial on the meanings of the resolutions & speeds would be nice for beginners. What the differences are & how they operate & how they are to be used.

    I just added this question to the "Best Action Camera for Most People" too. Great educational videos. I need help. I want to take a photo each day of our new house being built (timelapse??) which will take place over the course of 8-10 months. I will keep the Osmo Action camera in a set spot. What is the best way to set the camera up (settings) for this type of project? Thanks for the video!

    Your video is amazing no problem. But I just noticed that all you who did the unboxing and user setup never discuss the overheating of the Camera? This is a big issue. Any thought on this. I'm thinking of returning this camera as I did that on my Gopro 8...

    Excellent video, very helpful. One question though. Is it possible to upload videos, that are saved to the Mimo app, directly to my Mac? Or do I always have to either connect my Osmo Action to my Mac or remove the SD card and insert to Mac? Thanks!

    Good video. I have a question. Using the free music provided within the iMovies App and Video Editor (Windows 10) in my video and then uploading it to the TH-cam- Is it a copyright issue ?

    Can you please confirm what is the size of a 1 minute video when shooting in 4K@60 fps.
    Also can you please also confirm whether this footage is editable on a high end phone like an iPhone.
    I am thinking of buying one and these two things are really important for me.

    I just ticket my up and are right now playing around with it. Its my first action camera, and even though I dont do much action, I still find I quit handy. Thanks for this nice walt through user guide. 😊 Do you know how many costume modes you can ad? The mount you have it on in this video, is that the one it comes with?

    • @ChrisSpice
      @ChrisSpice  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It looks like you can add 5 custom modes to it. The case is the one that comes with it with the go pro style adapter thing, and the tripod mount is a Skyreat Osmo Pocket Tripod Adapter with the osmo pocket bit taken off! Thanks for watching my videos and I really appreciate the support Catarina!

    Sry very noob question, but does any1 know how to fix that thing when it "shadow blitsing" when filming inside vs lights? Is it fps or shutter speed? :s Example when u are in the bathroom or just a cafe with some strong light bulbs

    • @ChrisSpice
      @ChrisSpice  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you’re talking about the flickering then you need to change your PAL/NTSC setting. In the UK/Europe it’s PAL as lights flicker at 50hz so your frame rates will be multiples of 50. Anywhere else it’s NTSC/60Hz. If that doesn’t work then it’s a shutter speed thing and you’ll need to dial your shutter in to match the lights.

    I can’t find a solid answer anywhere regarding the numbers (next to ‘SD’) in the top-left corner of the back screen in video mode. Even the user manual is not clear. I know they’re ‘supposed’ to have something to do with the remaining amount of video (time) that can be recorded on the SD card (and possibly the number of stills that can be taken?). But I can’t find anywhere that says which number is which or if that’s even completely true. It’s even more confusing because the numbers don’t seem to make sense. For instance - why are my numbers *HIGHER* in 4K/60 mode than in 2.7K mode? Also, if one of the numbers is supposed to be the amount of still images I can record on the card then someone needs to go back to 4th grade math class ;-) because technically you should be able to fit 10s of thousands of 12Mp images on a 128GB card - but my numbers never say anything even close to that. Anyone?

    • @mrmsbhvn
      @mrmsbhvn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe that shows SD card remaining.

  • @stevenattaway

    I'm trying to decide between the GPH7 Black or DJI Osmo Action. Are you experiencing the lag issue that several people are experiencing with RockSteady on? I've also heard that the video stops recording and then starts again when you switch screens. Are you finding that a deal breaker, or is it just a minor issue?

    • @ChrisSpice
      @ChrisSpice  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's definitely some lag, and actually it happens sometimes with Rocksteady off too, but truthfully it hasn't bothered me in the slightest. I don't know if there's a way to switch screens without stopping recording but as far as I know you do have to, which sucks and has bothered me but surely that's fixable in an update. I've watched a tonne of vids and my opinion on that is - if you do a load of action stuff, go pro is better. If you do more holiday/travel/cinematic/documenting/vlogging stuff, Osmo Action is your one.
