Interesting challenge test, did very in both Manual, Parallel and POI - one challenge I can't do being an old bloke Many thanks for making this video - Like from me
It seems like it knows your heading. When you turn around and it sees your face, and you change it to back on the outer circle, it will go to your "new" back.
i never use the sticks on my RC, such a PITA and plus i can fly just fine without them. I tried the active 360 on my motorcycle and I thought the drone was on drugs, causes so much anxiety because its just making so many moves quickly.
You were getting MULTIPLE "Strong Environmental Interference" errors when you attempted Tracking from front. Its no great wonder. The hill itself was being detected as an object to avoid. If you knew the number of calculations being performed on the drone's processor, your jaw might drop off and hot the ground. Certainly 10's of thousands per minute, if not hundreds of thousands. One new approach being used by Neo is AI that is completely stipulated on being the user's face. The Tracking algorithm are largely new compared to "traditional" DJI which uses a HUGE percentage of processing power doing Object Avoidance. By NOT having that processing load, but assuming YOU are not going to BONK your head on a tree or a rock, it merely needs to follow your path as exactly as possible. I am an IT Worker over the last 45 years, and I would bet money DJI did a "bit" of reverse engineering ZeroZero Hover X1 code, if not outright hiring some coders from over there. Its almost laughably obvious the code is ripped from that platform.
This was the comment that I'd have made. When I saw the Neo's tracking mode (follow the path taken / don't cut corners like the M4P can due to OA), I hoped that one day DJI may offer that mode as an option on the M4P. An option, not a default mind. I'm also ex-IT, not as long as you (37 years), and I thought that in this video the M4P excelled. Well, it didn't hit anything at least, and the processing it must be doing to achieve that is phenomenal.
@@skf957 agreed. The end result is the main thing, and all told Mini 4 Pro is amazing. If the could somehow deliver a couple focal lengths it would be damn near perfect but they may have pushed sub-250 gram to its current limit, at least until anti-gravity tech comes on board. 🤣🤭😂
Thanks for watching! 😃

By the way, at 3:40, I think the drone kept changing it's position because you would face the drone, meaning behind you would be a 180 degree rotation

How you record your sound?😊
In this video I used the Rode wireless pro!
Here is an affiliate link for the same: geni.us/rode-wireless-pro
I was getting exhausted just watching you climb that hill
Everything for you! 😂😅
I don’t think the drone knows what front, back, and sides are until it knows what direction your your going
Were the link for the bag please can't find it
Hi, it’s not he description, but I’ll add it here:

Being 71 I would do that test down hill....
Time 04:50. There's air blowing near the microphone.....
It means altitude change is not trustworthy, I was scared to fly on the hills just because of this reason. Thanks for Video
