I appreciate your time and effort with this video. One helpful suggestion for us "non-techies." Please slow down and just talk about the steps (A to B to C...). I had to repeat this video a couple of times to get what you meant. Just a computer dummy grandmother concerned about her photos of the kids. Thanks

Once transferred to the Sandisk can this also be transferred to an external drive?

Great !! I see two versions of Sandisk pen drives, the dual ones (usb A and C together), having iXpand version which is double the cost of regular ones. does this app work on regular sandisk drives?

No. It just reads it as an external Drive and then moving stuff becomes a Pain

Does the wireless SanDisk drive mix the photos and videos when transferred over? Or do they appear in the order the photo album has it in

Sandkisk by far is the simplest as All you need is an App. But I use Amazon Photo as it's unlimited and is also an App & it's free to Amazon Prime Members who have Amazon Prime

@@user-kq8bc4ny4i The Amazon Photo is awesome app, which is included in Prime fee. However, the unlimited storage is only for still photo. The video storage is a teaser. You still have to pay an additional fee on top of the regular Prime to have it. I still enjoy the Amazon Photo app thanks to being able to watch photos on all of my big screens in my house.

You showed us how to get our iPhone photos into the flag drives but how do we upload those to our laptop? What will appear on the laptop screen? Is it the same as a regular flash drive?
My iphone12 mini’s storage is full and I’d like to transfer my photos to a laptop and then transfer those to an Mdisc for permanent storage.
I’ve never deleted a photo from my iPhone despite having them saved on unlimited iCloud because I’m not sure if deleting them off my phone also deleted them from iCloud! Can you let me know please?
    Thx!

if you're using the ixpand drive it reads as a normal thumb drive like any other. If ya use the Sandisk wireless one then it's the same way reads as a thumb drive too export

There is a way to power the phone while using the iXpand drive method. While the iXpand drive is plugged into the phone’s Lightning port, simply plug the female end of a standard USB extension cable onto the iXpand drive’s open male port, and then plug the other end of the extension cable into any standard USB power source (power adapter, battery bank, etc). I’ve also used this method with my iPad to watch many long movies stored on my iXpand drive on long international flights by plugging the USB extension cable into the plane’s USB charging port or an AC adapter at my seat.

So, Is it possible to Save things like zip files and apple notes?
I have videos from TH-cam that I want to backup onto a pendrive. But the videos save as a zip file on my phone. Can I save that to my pendrive? I have the IXpand app and Sandisk pendrive. It seems I can only save photos and videos. And son of my videos from the zip file won’t even play .
And as for my apple notes. Is there a way to save it to my pendrive?
-Thanks for the help ( P.S. I’m not tech savvy, at all )

Thanks for this video. Im curious. My iphone is set to store only low rez images on the phone. The high rez images are in the cloud because I dont have enough space on my iphone. When I transfer the images is there a way to get the high rez copies on the drive or is it just going to transfer the low rez copies? Also what format are the transferred images in? I am trying to avoid a format that binds me to the apple library. I would rather have pure JPEG, Raw, HEIC images etc
