    I have an iPhone 11 with lightning connector and a new iPad Air 5 with USB-C, so you video was very helpful. A USB-C hub helps as well.

    Thank you for being thorough, I was wondering if you needed to unmount, but since you said its not like a desktop or computer then we are good to go.

      Sure thing! Glad I could help answering that for you. But yea you definitely don’t need to unmount any attached device… as a matter of fact there’s no way to do that 😂. Just unplug and go! But to be on the safe side, I still will recommend to close out the files app when you’re done just in case… that’s just me being paranoid though 😅

    This video seems to be an update of a video that you posted 1 yr ago. Thanks for the update.
    My question is, last year you said you were going to post a video showing how to transfer from the storage device back to the iPhone.
    Has that video been posted? I have an iPhone 11 ( and many OTG dongels and powered USB-C hub ).

      Thanks for watching my friend. Funny enough I am actually on the backend of finishing up that video right now. But I’m currently in the middle of moving plus had some personal family issues dealing with, hence the sparse uploads over the past couple months. But that will indeed be my next upload so stay tuned!

    • @KamaniBrown
      @KamaniBrown  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh yes that’s very easy to do via the files app. Very simple. Just use the files app on the iPhone and navigate to the folder location, then long press the folder till a sub-menu pops up, then select “copy”, then navigate to the usb storage device within the files app as well, then select “paste”…. And you’re good to go!

    I bought the PNY DUO LINK iOS USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive that has a lighting connector and it worked great when I had the iPhone 13 Pro Max. However I upgraded to the iPhone 15 pro max and it can’t connect to it. I spent a lot of money on the flash drive and I love the futures on it. Is there a way to use the PNY DUO LINK iOS USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive on IPhone 15 pro max or will I have to get another flash drive. If so, what do you recommend. Thanks for your help.

      @KamaniBrown  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for tuning in! Well first of all I feel your pain, it was the same with me when I upgraded to the 15 Pro Max... had to invest in new solutions for data management. But getting straight to it, for your situation, the most cost effective way I've found is to use a lightning to USB-C adapter such as this 1: amzn.to/4dh8vjP to "daisy-chain" the Duo Link to the 15 Pro Max. That should do the trick, otherwise, I've recommended a few solid and fast usb-c 3.1 Gen 2 flash drives (that work perfect with the 15 Pro Max) in my description and pinned comment that you can check out. Hope this helps! 🍻

    I would like to keep the videos at the same quality I recorded them on. They’re videos and highlights from my son boxing so I want to keep the resolution good, so if you can recommend me a nice setup. The price isn’t really a issue. Thank you for all the help, wishing your mother a speedy recovery.

    • @KamaniBrown
      @KamaniBrown  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you copy over pictures and videos as shown in this particular video, they will be copied over in the original format and resolution. As for the setup, simply use the Lightning to usb or lightning to SD card reader adapters as shown in the video (listed in description), and copy the videos to the sd card or usb flash drive using the same method as shown. The method is the same regardless of your chosen storage device and you can’t go wrong with either one. If there’s something you don’t quite understand or having difficulties with, please don’t hesitate to ask here. Thanks for the well wishes bro I really appreciate it 🍻.

    Hello I’ve been following you on TH-cam for a month already. I’ve been trying to find the best way to save videos on to a micro Sd card or Sd card I still don’t know what’s the best option, I’m even thinking a flash drive can be the option. I watched a lot of your videos on Yt I thought if I reach out to you I’d have a better option at choosing what’s best for me. I currently have a iPhone 13 Pro Max and I would like to move videos that I have on my phone to something external. My phones storage is completely filled up and iCloud has started to delete photos and vidoes on there own. So I would appreciate your help alot thank you and keep posting awesome content. Sincerely your dear friend Isaac M

      Thanks for tuning in and following me 🍻. As for your situation though my friend, either the usb flash drive or SD card will work just fine. You can’t go wrong with either. However a higher capacity flash drive may work out to be cheaper. As to how to copy over your files, just follow exactly how I did it in the video. However, please note that when copying over a large volume of files to external storage that I recommend doing it in batches of around a few hundred at a time. Do not attempt to copy all of your gallery at once… depending on the volume it might either take forever or not work at all. But the process is pretty simple and straightforward as shown in the video, and the recommended devices to get the job done are all listed in my pinned comment and description under the video. I hope this helps, and if you’re having any difficulties with the procedure, just let me know here and I’ll do my best to respond 😊.

       well you would treat the iPhone like an external drive and copy them over from the PC or Mac into a folder on the iPhone. You can then access them back on your iPhone and copy them back to your gallery if you wish.
