Every weekend was a potential trap with the CUTEST 18-20 year olds asking if we could buy them beer. My roommate fell for one, bought her alcohol, she stayed the night with us and 2 days later he screamed from the bathroom "she didn't get me arrested she gave me the clap" it was Chlamydia... He was out of commission for 3 weeks. Last 25 years? Screw Alki.
Heart breaking 💔 still waiting for justice on my brother's death in Seattle. The detective I spoke with last week said they are overwhelmed with cases. Praying for the family and our city.

I've lived here for almost 20 years and I was in love with this city.. since BLM started up and then of course when Biden became president, I watched this beautiful place become a total dump right before my eyes. All the businesses are leaving and boarded up, All of the glass window fronts are graffitied or completely scratched up and hideous looking because of The removal of all the previous taggings, All of the architecture that I used to stop and appreciate has graffiti all over it, The sidewalks are filthy and full of graffiti and gum and rotting liquids and God knows what else, There are zombies and criminals walking around all over day and night, It isn't safe anymore and the charm is gone! I could keep going forever about the complaints I have.. anyways, thank God I'm leaving next month to Wisconsin. Screw it.
Use to be a great place to bring our family or friends from out of town. Alki has morphed into a haven of gun violence street racing, gang fighting. I use to park my car 🚗 there to run early morning hang out in the beach 🏖️ and chill. It's really sad 😢it's not safe in the evening. I don't drive there anymore seems situation has gone to hell
@@Lynn-uf4ip i use to live close Hamilton park I was nice to take with you family and dog at the alki strip . Unfortunately I avoid that area especially summer and dusk.
Lousy reporting on location, Hamilton Viewpoint is like , up the hill , but close if you looked at a map . Growing up on Alki , it used to have angle parking the entire 2 mile strip on the water side . If you knelt and tried to look under the row of parked cars at sundown, it was only possible to see beer bottles under nearly every car . They had fatal car accidents as often as we now see shootings .
Don't blame the council and the judges. It all starts with Firend of All Colored Criminals, King County Prosecutior Leesa Manion, who down charges, cuts deals, and pushes for concurrent sentencing.. Her campaign website flat out said she wants to stop "mass incarceration."
Alki Beach is always getting out of hand.
Seattle is getting out of hand and it is spreading to the suburbs.
