I left the US in 2018, but went to Santa Marta, Colombia because I love the beach, but my total monthly expenses dropped $1,000.00. Now I'm in Mombasa, Kenya and my total living expenses are $700.00 a month!! Once you make that decision to leave the US.... there are so many in options!!😁😁😁😁

I have been toying with the idea of leaving this country for about a year. Every since I saw an interview Phyllica Rashad and Debbie Allen said their mother moved them there as children due to the racism in America. Mexico was at the top of my list along with Italy or somewhere in Africa. Then, I moved back to Hawaii and reconnected with a friend and her children. Give us 6 months. You’ll be interviewing us as well. 🙌🏾. Once I made the decision, I immediately felt lighter, happier, and like I can accomplish even more of my dreams once I get there. My baby will be happier, we can learn another language, learn more about the history, culture, and eat that amazing authentic food! Honey! I’d leave today if my wallet was right! I’m ready! My family and I are considering Rwanda, Africa. We are going on a trip next year God willing to see if it's feasible to move permanently. Merida seems good but my sister wants to live where blacks are majority.

I listened to their entire story & they mention how Respectful people are towards them. It brought tears to my eyes because I know how disrespectful people can be towards seniors & Africa Americans in particular in the 🇺🇲. The level of disrespect & lack of manners in the 🇺🇸 in general is awful. 😢 It's only when you travel outside the 🇺🇸 that you realize how bad it is.

I am retired but had to take a part time job due to inflation. When I saw I can live well on my SS in Mexico I was set to do it then my mind went overtime and my fear set in. Niki said the only value to your stuff in what you give it. I am so tired of living in fear. I’m going to do it! Do you help people find an apartment? How do I get untouched with you?
I'm trying to talk my sister and one of our nieces into moving down to Merida when my daughter and I move down. My niece has a 5 year old little girl that just came home from school a couple of weeks ago and told her that her greatest fear is that she will be in school and someone will be standing outside of her classroom window pointing a gun in at her. 5 years old! What has our country come to? I''m convinced Merida is the place for me and my adult daughter, time to convince some more family. I want my family safe!

Thank you for this video. I be been wanting this but scared to get rid of my belongings. Listening to Niki helped me. I am retired and fed up Nicole and dining it. I am retired but had to take a part time job due to inflation. When I saw I can live well on my SS in Mexico I was set to do it then my mind went overtime and my fear set in. Niki said the only value to your stuff in what you give it. I am so tired of living in fear. I’m going to do it!

I'm trying to talk my sister and one of our nieces into moving down to Merida when my daughter and I move down. My niece has a 5 year old little girl that just came home from school a couple of weeks ago and told her that her greatest fear is that she will be in school and someone will be standing outside of her classroom window pointing a gun in at her. 5 years old! What has our country come to? I''m convinced Merida is the place for me and my adult daughter, time to convince some more family. I want my family safe!
