Thank you. A lady help me buy my very first cantaloupe and she did indeed smell it. Now I know why. It was perfect! My next one I bought myself and it was NOT RIPE enough. Now I also know why! LOL Great information.
Thanks for the tips-you've solved a lifelong source of frustration (eating unripe cantaloupe). Respectful tip to you: Improve your microphone setup. Even a cheap clip-on would be a big improvement over your current setup, which seems like your recording in an echo chamber.
Nice thanks. 1st time growing them and boy they have overtaken some stuff should i trim these vines to keep them from growing so long or should i just let them grow as much as they can? Regardless thanks for the info.
WOWWW congratulations… I wish I can grow fruit!!! I’ve tried a couple plants but never had an actual garden so maybe when I have one I can keep them alive😂
@@creativesparks2164 no i wasnt very good at figuring out when they were ripe. And most of them would all ripen together. Going set up latice to grow them on next time to keepnthem off the ground. Easiest way i saw to tell if they are ripe is when they fall off the vine. Also grew black watermelons. Had almost 30 by the end of the season last year. Ended up feeding most of it to my cows cause i simply couldnt keep up with the garden and my farm. Had to much going on.
2 years back I bought some label said was from Arizona and in small gunny meshcsacks they were the best thisecisxwatvicwas looking for in stores this year but only found these #3307 labeled not cut it yet. But I will cut labor day see if it compares with those one one that got to cut .labor day.
Maybe his nose was bothered slightly by something. Im constantly doin this anytime i go past certain areas with certain trees or when the wind blows a certain way carrying pollen and all that.
Good video… But constructive criticism: please don't wipe your nose while you're on camera handling food. Not good optics videos. Not mean-spirited just looking to help you.
That was very helpful! Never have known how to tell when a cantaloupe is ready to cut.
The knocking sound on your head was very informative and also beautiful to watch. Hero
I just wasted 5 bucks on an organic cantaloupe you can bowl with. Now I know what to look for…thanks for the info.
You can let it ripen there is another tutorial on how to store them when not ripe.
It says that if it's not cut when not ripe just set it on counter until ripe and if you cut it just put it in the fridge to ripen.
I know me too! Rats 🐀

Thanks, I've wondered the best ways to tell. This video was very helpful
Very informative brother. I thought mine was past due but it was actually underdeveloped.

That’s what u get for not taking the time to properly inspect your watermelon before purchase
Well obviously, they did not know how to inspect the watermelon before they purchased it. That’s why they are requesting a fucking video Macy!!!
This guy is a pro!!!😳
Very well done I learned a lot. As for the melon between your ears? It looks ripe as well. BTW, I have one just like you. 😁

What do you do if you cut into one too early?
Feed it to the groundhogs
Didn’t this guy teach me how to drive?
How do i test the sugar level?
Nice job! And I love how you say cantaloupe... (^_-)
Very helpful ty

Duh. If you have an itch, you scratch it….you don’t itch it. It’s itching you….so you scratch it.

Karen’s and people that are mad they don’t have TH-cam channels

Why are you speaking to us like we’re 5
Because only a 5 year old can't tell when a melon is ripe.

He didn’t dig his finger in deep or anything, he just slightly scratched it with the top of his hand cuz it was a bit itchy
It’s a DIY channel not a cooking channel
Identical to your head
I had to stop watching this video... The dude keeps wiping his nose like he just did a big fat Line!
Stop rubbing your nose. Turn off
Only a little girl would care about something so petty. Grow up.
Stopppp touching ur nose😂😂😂😂
CUT it open already so we can see!!!
Weird intro 😬
Sorry, but thumbs down due to your very unappetizing hand to nose gesture, which you do several times.
👎👎👎👎👎
Don't be such a little girl, it's a video about a melon.
