I don't know if I'm the only one that does this, but I remove all my rivers and cliffs and then I do my own terraforming. It takes awhile but it looks so good when you're done.

Is this what makes islands seem so big? lol mine feels so tiny whenever I see videos like this
I still wonder how comes people get that feeling there's tons of space to fill, in my case I restarted my island recently and flattened it, but it feels so tiny for what I want to do😔
The only non flat areas are the very top left corner with a few houses on a cliff, and the resident services/airport (They are only five squares away, so they'll be blended into the same area lol)
As a ACNH noob, this is really helpful to learn. I can’t wait to be able to terraform!

I’m not super far into decorating my first island, but so far I hate bushes lol. It’s so annoying that they bloom in different seasons. I wish there were year round bloomed ones, and year round bare ones. I always just resort to the hedge fencing.

Me having to remove all my climbing walls in every house on every island when the dlc gave us walls & columns 😂😭😅
I’ll be creative by making a train station! (I am recently re-starting my island to make a spring city based of Japan, or more specifically Shoujos that is an anime genre!)

ok so i have isabella (finally) the museum thing and 3 more villagers and gotten in a rut (how and when do i get into the gritty nitty 😭 and it's my first time, despite having DS before i never played the franchise before.)
Hi! The last thing you have to do before getting terraforming and effectively finishing the tutorial is getting to 3 stars! Talk to Isabelle and follow her advice :)
Getting flashbacks to the old days and your coastal island ❤the good old days! I do miss the acnh community and I'm so grateful when new content still comes out! I've just gone back to my (2020 original and only) island after a year and it's so nostalgic I love it😊
