Also you should change the time to 4:57 am so you have twice the chance to find someone because the game resets at 5:00 am so if the time changes to 5:00 am and there was a villager in the campsite before 5:00 am they will be gone. I've done this method to find several dreamies. I got Raymond, Ione, Ankha, Sherb, Audie, Roald, Rudy, Judy, Bones, and probably several others I'm forgetting. It can take a loooong time but it's foolproof and easier than saving up tons of tickets every time I want a new villager, lol. It just takes a lot of patience because it can get boring pretty fast. You are more likely to get a personality type of a kind you don't already have living on your island. So when I want a specific villager, say Sasha, I'd do it when I didn't have a Lazy on my island. It can still take a long time to get the exact villager you want, but it helps. If you hadn't had Kyle, you would've gotten more Smug types and probably found Marshal sooner. Congrats on Marshal, he's such a cutie!

I got soooo many dreamies from this method including Lolly, Tangy, Ankha, Judy, and Merry, currently I’m campsite villager hunting for Raymond and stitches but it takes hours of work
I've been trying to get Ione too but I don't want to time travel in new horizons. I have no trouble doing it in new leaf since its way easier and I'm afraid of messing something up in new horizons. I also I did do a villager hunt not too long ago for ione but I ended up getting peanut. And then I got Vivian in the campsite but I didn't take her. She's cute and all but I already have my snooty wolf. And I am so surprised you had restraint to not take Audie. Then again I took peanut because I only had 11 tickets left and I was getting tired and needed sleep
And so it's not just one huge comment, I find it funny how you got most of the villagers that I have currently on my island or that I used to at some point. Which is Audie, Skye, Wolfgang, kid cat, Mitzi and Caroline. I don't have Mitzi or Caroline anymore.

I used the campsite method a lot and I got some current villagers that I have like Fang, Raymond, Judy, Shino (had gotten Dobie, Poppy, and Bluebear from the campsite but they all moved out) I’m trying to get Sasha from the campsite but he never wants to appear but I managed to get some good villagers like Sherb, Cookie, Rudy, Pekoe, Lolly, Merengue, Petri, etc. I tried to get both Lolly and Merengue from the campsite but no luck.
@@hannaspixels it's intimidating at first not knowing what to do but you get the hang of it. I first went only for nook tickets, then i grabbed a couple 99+ bell bags. Then i saw the celestial set!! 🤩 so i grabbed a few chairs, the moon and some recipes. Also went hunting for my daughters to get their island to 3 star with some items. It's fun, a little frustrating when you get kicked off an island because of the host either lagging or sleep mode, or someone elses on the island messes it up. Cause I've grabbed a few items only to be accidentally kicked off before it saves and i lose what i picked up. I can link a few of the twitch channels I've been going to. All free!

literally wasn't even hunting but I time travelled 3 days later because of building and completions but it said there was a villager at my campsite (usually they are the ugly ones) so I decided to look and it was MARSHALL but he chose Gayle to move off my island which was a sad sacrifice as he could of chosen Octavian he I have wanted to go

I got Peanut, Sasha and Judy from it (was a bit sad to let Chief go for Judy as he's the best cranky imo). Kidd too who I wasn't sure about at first but I really warmed to him, his lilac colors are also very aesthetic. Now I'm hoping to get Rosie and Ione so time travelling might help speed up the process 🤞
If I remember right you should first time travel 6 days, to have the best chance of getting a campsite visitor. And if you didn't get a visitor, then travel again to the next day until you get a visitor. It is quite random, but this worked for me :)
If all your plots are already full, then the visitor will name a random villager from your island to move out. You should save the game when you have the dreamie visitor at your campsite, because then if the visitor suggests a villager that you don't want to move out, you can close the game and try again, maybe they will say a different name that time 😄It's a bit difficult to explain
@@Thatonemexicanwhodoesntsleep Basically you just time travel to a day when you have a campsite visitor. And you may need to do a lot of timetravelling to get the dreamie villager. After you have had a campsite visitor, you should first time travel six days ahead to get the max chance to get a new visitor. After that, timetravel one day at a time until you get somebody to your campsite. I explained this on one of my videos too, I think 😄 When you find your dreamie, wait until they have moved to your island and after that you can travel back to real time.

I don't know for sure, because I didn't have this problem, but are you early in the gameplay? How many villagers you have on your island? Is this the first campsite visitor on your island? Then you may have to take him if it is the first smug villager that comes to you campsite.
