excellent review Ross. One thing you may want to consider. the screen assistant is hard to hear while you are going through menu options. So you may want to ajust that volume. Your voice however is coming through perfectly at a good volume. Excellent content Bro

Awesome Review, Ross! Was really thorough. I'm glad that accessibility has come such a long way the past couple of years, and it has definitely accelerated due to the prominence of youtubers like yourself raising your voice and making yourself heard!

Yep the future of gaming is there's games for every kind of person along with the combo of increased support for accessibility options so everyone can find something to play.

Hello there, maybe you’ve already covered this, and if so, I apologize. I just purchased a PlayStation five a day ago or so, but I was wondering, would you mind listing some blindness accessible games that I can try out? Thank you very much for your time. Another question, where are the adaptive triggers on the remote? I’m very new to video gaming. The last system I had, was the Wii. Thanks again for your time.

Hey there! that's awesome you got a PS5. :For the adaptive triggers, they are built into the r2 and l2 triggers, and specific games have to program them to feel a certain way. So for example, they definitely work in the Last of Us games.
For games you can play, here are some suggestions:
Completely accessible: The Last of Us both part I and II, Mortal Kombat 1, and As Dusk Falls, which is coming in March.
Games that are playable with some effort: Diablo IV, 13 Sentinels, Streetfighter 6.
Games where you will need some sighted assistance: God of War Ragnarok, Spider-Man games.
This is definitely not a complete list, but these are the essential ones.

good review! I was kinda hoping you'd get into the 3D audio engine that sony is hyping up too, from a blind gamer's perspective. As a sighted person it definitely sounds good but it's hard for me to tell if it's much better than older platforms since I don't normally play with headphones. The fact that you can calibrate the headphone audio based on your ear level is pretty neat though.
Also, if you want to experience the haptics, you should try Astro's Playroom. it's a platform game that's pre-installed on the system and it's basically a demo of the haptics in the controller (footsteps on different surfaces feel different for example). Not sure how accessible the game itself is though.

That's something I forgot to mention in the video. I don't have any games that support tempest audio yet.

How does the PlayStation 5 do with say the PlayStation Store on voiceover and things of that nature versus the PS4 cuz right now I got a PS4 and the screenwriter only works halfway could you show us that if they made an update on the PS5 where Reed's game titles and things of that nature in the PlayStation Store

The PS app it’s very accessible now. Yes it won’t tell you that you are clicking on a button, but you can figure that out yourself. Keep up the good work

Great video! So is the PS5 TTS better than it is on PS4? On the PS4 TTS sucks I can not go through all of the menus because it will say TTS is not supported here. OMG! That makes me so mad. I hope that the PS5 TTS is worlds better. I also hope that more games will be accessible to next generation.
