bro... i'm 15 rn and i've literally known you since i coudn't even write yet. i was like 2 or 3 years old and i got a wii as birthday gift, so i used to ask my mom to spell "S U P E R M A R I O B R O S" so i could search it on my grandpa's computer and watch your 'new super mario wii' videos... and here i am, still watching your channel. so i'm glad that i have found THAT channel with only 2k subscribers. i do believe that this channel may be an experiment tryna emerge from 0 again (and it's going well), so i feel a little bad commenting here and helping to ruin everything, but i don't think other people would waste their time reading this ginormous text in their own language and i hope that at least here you see it. you've been part of my life and made me a gamer, thank you. ❤ (edit: i saw all of your "como você nunca viu" videos before finding this, but i think i'll start watching these videos on this channel to practice my english, even that it's already good tho)
The models and the animation still are top notch, and beat most modern games by a long shot, the textures do sucked, i always wondered how a PC port would have looked
The PS3/360/Wii era was best there ever is. Most campaigns that time had consistent great writing and charm. Graphics aged well, too, and for many of the games. Combined with the console convenience, it's unbeatable for the experience at the time.
Ps4/xbox one limiting most games to 30fps combined with few games especially in that 2014-2017 period that played above 1080 natively anyway. It really wasnt as big of a leap as the ps2/xbox made. The ps4 pro and xbox one x are "known" in a way that the 7th gens SKUs weren't. Try playing halo 3 on an xbox 360 core or arcade, lol
GOW3 is possibly one of the best looking games on ps3. If i knew about this game about 10 yrs ago i would of thought it would of been one of those next gen games for the xbox 1 and ps4. Thats how good it looks.
People just don’t understand how good these games looked on the 27” 720p TVs that many of us had in this era. Totally different experience than the 4k 70” TVs of today. Better in almost every way honestly. Nothing like sitting 2 feet away from screen when things got really intense.
My first flat screen was indeed a 720p 27 inch display. I remember the first time I played Gears of War on it and I was absolutely blown away. Plus it was nice being able to read the text in Dead Rising.
I still remember playing the PS3 on my first flat-screen TV, which was a 42" 1080p Samsung I believe. It blew my mind! But let's not kid ourselves, those early LCD TVs had significant input lag and were a lot dimmer with way worse contrast than even the cheapest TVs today. But in our memories, they were great and that's what matters.
The ps3 is still my favorite console to this day. I don't know if it's because I grew up with the 7th gen of consoles, or im just biased. I have so many great memories with the ps3 and x360 I even modded both consoles and serviced the ps3 so it'll last much longer because I love the consoles that much. In my opinion I think gaming peaked during the 6th and 7th generation, that being said there are still good games being released, but it feels like most modern games are rushed cash grabs.
I feel like we still have passionate developers making great games. But a lot of traditional publishers are too focused on games as a service... and I still prefer a good single player campaign.
Many great games out there . FF16, BDG3 , New GOD OF WARs , Forbidden West , Alan Wake 2 Many Ps3 games have improved on the Ps4 /Ps5. Who wants to play GOW3 on a Ps3 at 720p/30fps when the Ps4 version plays it at 1080p/60fps. Same with The Last Of US, amd Mass Effects. that are 4k/60fps now on ps5.
@@Crashed131963 I have a PC so I have no need to ever buy a ps5 the exclusives are not interesting enough to me to make it worth it. However ps3s are dirt cheap and easy to mod. Every new game coming out that I want to play is on PC.
@@VideoGameShowcase I agree there’s definitely still some passionate developers. I more mean a lot of big triple A games recently have been disappointing in the fact that they are rushed in release and filled with bugs and graphic glitches. Wdym as a service? Me too I love single player campaign which is part of the reason as to why I love re visiting old consoles and modding them as they are filled with single player campaign games. My argument is mostly that back in 6th and 7th gen games were released fully finished and ready to play as they should be.
The fact that GTA 5 could run on a PS3 is nothing short of a technical marvel. Even today, maxed out at 1080p on an RTX 4060 laptop the game still dips below 60 FPS.
A few years back I got an old HP sff pc from a business that threw them out, put a GTX 960 in it and GTA ran great. Not maxed out of course but the ps3 version is also not maxed out.
This was the "bridge" era. The bridge between SD and HD gaming. The time when people began to expect much more out of a gaming console then just games. This was an exciting time as the old gaming console now became a streamer too. HD showed us games we only dreamed possible a few years ago.
It wasn’t until the PS4 and Xbox One that I truly saw how good games could be with 1080p gaming. 720p held the developers back a bit because if they gave us 1080p they have to dial back there creative minds to make that happen. For example playing GTA 5 on the PS4 then playing GTA 5 on the PS3 is a night a day difference it’s crazy how much better it is on the PS4. Clear 1080p 60fps and way way more textures the world is way better. Same thing with Last Of Us the PS4 version cleans up all the bad antialiasing that was on the PS3 version. 1080p really helped a lot of games.
@@ryans413 gta V is 30fs on ps4/xbone, ps4s cpu was not better enough for 60 fps. they use the extra gpu power to make the game look better tho so 1080p 30 fps + higher settings
Fun fact: Dragon's Crown looks hand drawn because IT IS hand drawn. That game looks amazing and I'm so glad I played it when it was new. This video was a trip down memory lane, keep up the good work!
For the first 2 years, Xbox 360 was my go-to system, but after I bought a PS3 Slim, I was addicted! I have all of the hits and Japanese Releases. I was a Super Hardcore PS3 player! I literally had marathon gaming sessions daily!
Espera, essa qualidade de video, analise e apreciação por gerações passadas de console com essa voz, hm... acho que sei de quem é esse canal em, um projeto a parte. Tá fazendo um bom trabalho aqui também haha. Well done my friend e
Então kkkkkk, estava esperando um comentário desses. Acho que ou ele vai anunciar em próximos videos ou vai manter em segredo pra não atrair muito fo mesmo público.
I have the Xbox Series X and I recently bought a Backwards Compatible PS3. They are two beastly maschines. I adore the BC PS3. Playing Killzone 2 and then just went to playing MOH Rising sun. Super nostalgia. As a diehard Xbox fan right from the time the Original Xbox came out, I can safely say this, The PS3 (Standard or BC) is one of the greatest ever gaming maschines in history. In my opinion, It far out passed the 360. And I loved my 360 dearly.
I really hope it holds up for you. I would say they are getting quite rare these days.. in working order that is. Unfortunately very hard or near impossible to repair. Good luck.
Impressive video. I watched this on my 4K LG OLED with the Sonos 5.1 Surround system. I still have my PS3 hooked up to the TV because it can hold up really well. Digital video and audio in 5.1 goes a long way. I love the PS3, it's a great system.
Hey, Dark Souls 2 is actually my favourite game in the series too. Having started with Demon's Souls and then playing every other their game on release, I'm still in love with DS2's ambiance and gameplay. Music and scenery just nail it for me sooo well.
For me, seeing God of War III run at 60fps at 720p back in 2010 seemed like the pinnacle of video games graphically speaking, I couldn't believe the lighting effects, the fluidity of the animations and the perspective of the camera that moved away from time to time and showed epic scenes with giant characters. one of the best games in history that still looks incredible to this day. GOW 3, Tha Last of US and Killzone 3 will always be one of my favorite games of all time thanks to what the PlayStation 3 could do
I've looked at a couple of the scenes in this video and I can tell you recorded the gameplay footage at 1080p. (or above) When recording any other resolution other than the native resolution of the console you will inevitably have scaling issues, this is most evident in GTA 5 around 12:37 if you look into the distance that is not what you see on your screen while playing, it's way too blocky. Most games run at 720p and you need to record them at 720p for them to actually look good. Other than that this is a pretty solid video :D
Hey! There shouldn’t be any scaling issues since I recorded in 4K and that’s a multiple of both 720p (3x) and 1080p (2x). The reason I record in 4K is so I can upload the raw file to TH-cam as a back up without losing too much quality! But other stuff in the chain could cause issues like the one you mentioned (zooming, TV scaling, YT scaling, etc)! Thanks a lot for the feedback and I’m glad you like the video!
@@VideoGameShowcase While your logic ( I though the same as you did ) is good it sadly just doesn't work due to the capture card that you use. I also use a 4K Avermedia capture card (GC 553, not the 573 that you're using) there will be scaling issues regardless if the resolution is a multiple of 4K. You can try it when you have time with GTA 5 on the PS3: recording in 720p natively will have a much cleaner image than recording directly in 4K. Maybe you have a two monitor setup and use the passthrough to play the game and just hit record on the other monitor (having the Avermedia software / OBS in a little preview window) and can't see the difference right away. Try using the Avermedia software in fullscreen mode and while in GTA5 press record and you will immediately see the difference, everything gets slightly blockier.
@@VideoGameShowcase You can also see the difference when there is text on the screen, like in God of War 3. I think that example is better to use to see if there are scaling issues since all the letters and numbers will turn from smooth to blocky when you hit record in 4K :D
Hey! The preview of the recording software doesn’t correspond to the actual recording! The preview will always be scaled so yeah, you will for sure notice a difference there! But with the actual recording and especially with integer multipliers there shouldn’t be any issues! I’ll actually test what you mentioned but for most recording softwares as long as you’re using an integer multiplier and not applying any weird up scaling FX (such as HQx2, Lanczos, etc) it should be a straight multiplier. Thanks again!!!
@@VideoGameShowcase No problem 😁.If ps5 copy and pasted ps3 with a few improvements and more features to today's standard then it would be the perfect console and with backwards compatibility!!! Or imagine if you could change the home screens from older consoles and more customisation options like in ps2 you can choose some default colours or something. If they would do that l would actually pay even 600 euros but since ps5 is doing less than the ps4 then ain't no way l pay 500 euros for a console with less features and less games and with almost nothing new to the table...
I ran my PS3 on a Hitachi 720p LCD Projector, with a 85 inch screen image. Games looked so impressive. Also it was hooked up via optical cable to a a full Dolby 5.1 sound sound separates system. I enjoyed it a lot, so many great memories. I did struggle with the drops down to 25FPS in some games. I found it tough to fight in Last of Us due to so low FPS. It was much easier at 60FPS when it was updated to run on PS4. My PS3 still works and I do fire it up every so often. There is an awesome game called Dead Space: Extraction that is a on the rails shooter and worked great with the PS Eye and Move Controls.
Have you ever cleaned up your PS3 yet? PS3 also has a special feature named "Fan Blowout", which you hold down the eject button while plugging the cable and PS3 console is cleaned up its dust automatically.
You Sr have earned a subscriber here, I hope your channel grows and get as much exposure as possible. This video is an amazing showcase of how awesome is the PS3 hardway as a graphical powerhouse without having to get footage from an emulation PC. Keep up the good work.
@@amazingamazigh1538 True. From 3 to 4 was pretty big too once it got games built for next gen. But from 4 to 5? Not so much. There just isn't much innovation now and advancements in technology have slowed down.
Your commentary really added to the watchability of this video. The facts you brought up and just all the things you said, man. I watched this video expecting (and hoping) just to see some gameplay at 4k, and you delivered above and beyond. Subscribed.
I was honestly suprised at the size of your channel, the video quality has the standards of the big players. No doubt you'll make it there. Keep up the good work!
The PS3 still amazes me to this day, even at 720p some games still look really good on that console. Unfortunately most games runs at 30 fps locked or below, some games have heavy stuttering going on during gameplay, some games are just so unoptimized, that they are barely playable (i still ask myself, on how a friend of me was even able to enjoy the horrible mess, that is TES: Skyrim on the PS3, which ran worse, than the pc version on my dual core potato pc, back, when it came out). There are some amazing gems on the PS3, i absolutely adored The Last of Us on the PS3 and how awsome it looks (had shown to some friends, on how amazing it looked and what the PS3 is actually is capable of), the day i saw GTA V in its full glory on the PS3 at a friends house, i've got myself a copy the very next day, because it amazed me that much. Thanks to your video i now know some other gems, i missed and will happily look out for them (i still have my PS3 Super Slim and it works just fine, after some cleaning, i'm looking out for an 1tb or 2tb upgrade for it, to download my entire online library, who knows, on how long the PS3 playstore will be held online). Thanks for your effort.
I always felt like the jump between PS2 and PS3 era was much greater than PS3 to PS4. PS2 to PS3 was just completely overhauled graphics and style. While PS3 to PS4 felt more like just better resolution and antialiasing.
Dude exactly! GT6 at night in the rain compared to the best looking ps2 game was a GIANT leap. PS3 to PS4 is definitely noticeable but no where near as large a leap.
I'd like to share my support for this video. Thank you for sharing! I can still recall feeling so awestruck by the PlayStation 3's graphics and more when I finally got to play on an early 1080 HDTV. Even when I first played the first "Assassin's Creed" on a SONY flat screen CRT tv, I was blown away. It truely felt like a considerable leap in all aspects of gaming. To this day, I am still playing on my PS3 - enjoying each game at their best, visuals and all.
I would say it looks sharper in person, but mind you i´m not watching on a native 4k display. The Ps3 looks supper sharp in my tv (32 inch, Panasonic Viera, 720p class, 1366x768 native), i think the picture settings also will affect the quality on the picture and i think i have done a good job calibrating the tv settings to get the sharpest picture from the Ps3. Folklore is a game i was always very interested to play since it was launched as an early game on the Ps3 life, surely on my Ps3 wishlist. Also you didn´t mention it, but Shadow of The Colossus and iCO both support 1080p rendering as also do some other few Ps3 games. Thank you for taking your time capturing real hardware gameplay from a real Ps3, i always appreciate when people do real hardware video capture from older consoles, and with great quality also. 😊🥰
Ah one more thing regarding what you said about capturing older consoles… next video will actually be about the RetroTink 4K and I captured around 15 consoles for it (NES, SNES, Genesis, 3DO, PS1, etc)!
Get shopping buddy I bought a new 60 inch RCA 4k/60hz TV for $260 on Amazon it looks great on Ps5 as long as you never go over 60fps because it has no VRR support .
hey bro....i play with my super slim on a Sony Bravia X80K 65inches......it looks awesome even without any changes but when i change the setting....damn bro the detailing looks so good my friend came over and was shocked to see the graphics cuz he had both ps3and ps4......PS3 is the best
I'm old enough to have had the original Nintendo as a first console. Still, the PS3 is one of my favorite consoles and era. The games were fresher. These days, new experiences are few and far between. My favorite consoles are SNES and PS3. I do like the fact loads of talented people do great 2D games now, though.
My PS2 broke down in early 2008, so I decided that's it I am supposedly "grown up" now and won't play any games anymore except some occasional couch multiplayer games. But then I decided to buy a PS3 in early 2013 for so many reasons. I am so glad I did, otherwise I would have missed on so many great games.
Back in the day, lots of PS3 and 360 comparion videos had their PS3's HDMI color range set to limited instead of full so all games looked washed out and the 360 always more colored, nuanced and detailed
Limited and full range should look the same… as long as everything is setup properly. Having full range > limited or vice versa will either crush or wash out colors!
PlayStation 3 even in 2024, has tons of masterpiece games that are still memorable even today. Like NHL 10, NHL 14, Shadow of the Colossus, Gran Turismo 5 & 6, MGS IV & V THE PHANTOM PAIN, and all PS3 ASSASSIN'S CREED games from the original one from 2007 to AC ROGUE.
I got a new PS3 recently (it was actually hardly used if at all, doesn’t even have cosmetic wear and tear). The game I got is Metal Gear Solid 4. It actually looks pretty good on my 65” LG C2 OLED. I was originally playing it through the first playthrough on my 30” Sanyo HT30746 HD CRT. I ended up curious how it would look and play on my OLED and I was pleasantly surprised. This OLED actually has the closest to the flawless motion handling of my CRT I’ve seen on a sample and hold display, which is actually rather impressive. When running at 60 FPS, as MGS4 does run 60 FPS is certain locations, the motion resolution is almost completely free of motion blur. If the C2 OLED is this good at 60 FPS, I could only imagine the upcoming 2024 C4 OLED’s
The ps3 was so powerful at the time that the US military used thousands of them linked up to build a super computer! It was so good I kept it going and passed on the ps4 and finally retired it at ps5. This console truly is a masterpiece.
Thank you for that AC 4 outlook, man. It's pretty hard to convince newer player who never knew how earlier games' writings were. Even ESL or ETL could appreciate past AC's well thought out dialogue.
It's crazy how old I feel watching this video. When the PS3 and 360 came out the graphics blew my mind because prior to them I was used to seeing low res textures and limited draw distances in games. These consoles were a major leap in gaming, and they were complete right out of the box unlike today's titles.
O algoritmo do TH-cam nem sempre decepciona, afinal kkkkkkkkkk Vai crescer rapidinho com essa qualidade e bagagem não falta haha Os gringo pira o cabeção. A bilada agora é internacional!
@@くんヴィッツ O TLoU pretendo pegar eventualmente, mas no PC. O PS3 eu só compraria mesmo pelo Gran Turismo, que curto demais por ser um grande fã de veículos JDM. Infelizmente não roda legal em emulador ainda.
I didn't get to have a Playstation 3 until April 2013 since I used Xbox 360 for years and then got a Nintendo Wii in late 2010. When I finally had a PS3, I got to play the Killzone trilogy, the God of War series, the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy (the third one came out in the USA a year later), Gran Turismo 5, Dark Souls, and the Metal Gear Solid series. I was mind-blown by all those PS3 titles for its gameplay, graphics, and innovation. Sadly, I didn't get to play Uncharted and I am pretty sure I am too late so hopefully one day. I am glad I got to experience the goodies on the PS3, despite being unemployed forever during the Great Recession.
Amazing to see you here Edu, your accent is really impeccable almost didn't recognise it. Unfortunately I do not follow you anymore but I will follow this channel as it really got my interest. Wish you all the best!
These days I mostly just emulate the PS3 games, but looking at this video, it kinda makes me want to pick my old PS3 and give it another whirl. Truth be told, I don't particulary enjoy console gaming much, but there are still some games that I really liked that I feel like revisiting.
I'm mostly a console gamer and recording this video made me want to play so many games... but I'd rather focus on a few and beat them... better than not finishing any! Thanks!
Well, well, well... I think I recognize that voice. Great job expanding your content to international audiences. As always, high quality content and very interesting video, keep it up man!
"Why Older Videos Don't Reflect The PS3's Quality" Trust me, as someone who only had a crappy CRT with composite during the PS3 era, those videos reflect the experience quite accurately lol. Jokes aside really appreciate the effort you put in this video, most channels are just uploading emulator gameplay now instead of authentic PS3 captures. I'm still impressed with what the PS3 could do, especially later titles like GTAV and TLOU but even early titles like Motorstorm still look great to this day.
I also started in the PS3 with composite cables and only after upgrading to HDMI that I noticed that SackBoy’s house in LittleBigPlanet is made of cardboard. Before I couldn’t see the details 😅
What hurt the PS3 the most is Microsoft got all multiplat game makers to use the 360 as the native system, making both PS3 and PC games from that era suffer. The ones that looked and ran the best were the console exclusives. The X360 also held back HD gaming for an entire generation when the PS3 and it's Blu-ray were literally invented for it.
From what I understand it was easier to develop for the Xbox 360, and it also was more familiar to developers since it released one year before the PS3. So the 360 was the main platform for development and then games were ported to the PS3... which resulted in better performance in the 360 compared to the PS3.
You’re saying it held back HD gaming when more 360 games were actually rendered in HD compared to the PS3 where 640p was a lot more common and paired with MLAA, QAA or FXAA which smeared the entire image compared to MSAA which was used frequently on 360.
@@konradfun X360 resolution was 480p with upscaling like with how some DVD movie players could do upscaling for near-HD while the PS3 could do 720p and 1080p if developers chose to make use of it. Most didn't thanks to MS getting devs to use the X360 instead of the PC (as normal) as the master system to develop for. The X360 hardware itself could handle HD gaming, but since Microsoft abandoned the HD-DVD format without having made a single game to make use of it, everything was limited to what the DVD-9 could handle. Remember HD-DVD, MS's competing HD format to go against blu-ray? It was an add-on drive when it should have been the only drive. That was their HD-format gaming plan that they quickly abandoned.
This is possibly the generation I remember most fondly. The generational shift from the previous generation was so obvious - much, much more so than from PS3 to PS4. Booting it up and playing GTA 4 for the first time really felt like getting your hands on something that was state-of-the-art.
PS3 had a rough start, but over time by 2009 I thought it was a better console than the 360 was. It was more of a media powerhouse and felt more up to date and ahead of it's time for me personally. Both consoles were great but I'd choose PS3 over 360 by a notch.
Thank you for making this video dude! I still play PS3 to this day on a regular basis. Thank you for giving the PS3 some love it deserves even after all these years. It really was the best time for gaming for everyone PS and Xbox alike. The pure variety of games, exclusives on both ends and the push on graphics and mechanics. In my personal opinion FF13 is by far the best looking game on that generation.
I still have a ps3, works just fine. The controls act up every now and then but nothing serious. I'm glad I never sold it, because I still enjoy all my teenage games like God of war 3, cod mw series, ac black flag, tomb raider and black ops. Nostalgia is one hell of a ride.
Ico - a masterpiece in my opinion. I appreciate that you tried to show us these games with the best sound possible, but TH-cam converts the surround sound to regular stereo, so we won't hear 5.1.
@@VideoGameShowcase OMG I didn't know that! I just found out that consoles support it too. I'll have to check this out on my PS5. Thanks for the info 😊.
Impressive work Champ!!! The price of the 4K retrotink is too high. An cheaper alternative is to daisy chain mcable (gaming) or mclassic with the 4K Gamer Pro. Its like a third of the price and reasonably close the 4K Retrotink is terms of quality imo
Looking at how we had well structured games that came complete on the disk, do we really need Ray Tracing when the graphics can hold up well to this day?
There was a really underrated game from that 7th gen era similar to God Hand on the PS2: it was mocked on release but gained a cult following after. I think the game was called "Bilada", I need to replay it on my PS3 some time, a cult classic.
It's incredible what the PS3 could do at that time with 256MB of RAM and a 500Mhz GPU, at the moment with computers hundreds of times faster and more powerful, we cannot reach the level of the PS3, an applause for the developers of that time who did make an effort to correctly optimize the games without sacrificing performance or graphic quality.

People just don’t understand how good these games looked on the 27” 720p TVs that many of us had in this era. Totally different experience than the 4k 70” TVs of today. Better in almost every way honestly. Nothing like sitting 2 feet away from screen when things got really intense.
Yeah, it’s really hard to portray that but the smaller screens actually made a difference
I remember playing Elder Scrolls Oblivion on my first flat screen TV.
Flat screen TVs sales started to outsell CRTs
Around the time it was released.
I had a 42 inch 720 native plasma, games looked gorgeous, and still do, that thing is turning 15 years old and is still kicking
FF16, BDG3 , New GOD OF WARs , Forbidden West , Alan Wake 2
Many Ps3 games have improved on the Ps4 /Ps5. Who wants to play GOW3 on a Ps3 at 720p/30fps when the Ps4 version plays it at 1080p/60fps.
Same with The Last Of US, amd Mass Effects. that are 4k/60fps now on ps5.
@@Crashed131963but cost much more, if you have got a ps3 there isn’t reason to buy the last of us again
Not maxed out of course but the ps3 version is also not maxed out.
cpu bottleneck
in ps3 the game runs in 20-30 fps
@@MZRFaith highly doubt it
Has to be, ain't no way you ONLY get 60fps on that 1080p maxed. There's some performance loss coming from somewhere @@TartarSauceIsNotDead

PS3 IS DA GOAT AND FOR ME DA BEST CONSOLES EVER MADE!!! Imagine having a ps5 with ps3 features and xmb menu, that would be amazing!!
I really wish the PS5 was backwards compatible with the PS3 too! Thanks for the comment!

Trust me, as someone who only had a crappy CRT with composite during the PS3 era, those videos reflect the experience quite accurately lol.
Kkkkk pensei que eu tava ficando louco, 7:20 mas essa pronúncia não me engana, sabia que era o biladeiro.
for me, my favorite display of PS3 graphics was the Motorsport games. Pacific Rift is still a really pretty racing game
This is really refreshing.Great video dude
Thanks a lot!
Fui bisbilhotar o TH-cam da gringa, e essa voz...
Lembra alguém famoso hehe
I Love MGS 4, my favorite ps3 title. I watched the whole video with a sense that i knew your voice, in the end i realised who it was hahahaha
Mas eu conheço essa voz kkkkk
Eu faria a mesma coisa, o ingles do homem é fino.
To boiando...

Achei q eu tava ficando louco de começo
@@Clarkanee daí?
This is possibly the generation I remember most fondly. The generational shift from the previous generation was so obvious - much, much more so than from PS3 to PS4. Booting it up and playing GTA 4 for the first time really felt like getting your hands on something that was state-of-the-art.
Essa voz não me é estranha 🤔😄
Pensei a mesma coisa kkkk
PS3 had a rough start, but over time by 2009 I thought it was a better console than the 360 was. It was more of a media powerhouse and felt more up to date and ahead of it's time for me personally. Both consoles were great but I'd choose PS3 over 360 by a notch.
Looking much better than I expected.
Really enjoyed this video. Will you be making one on the early releases on ps4?
That would be awesome actually. Thanks for the suggestion!
Great video !! Love ps3 still playing today while having gaming pc and ps5. That says a lot
I still have a ps3, works just fine. The controls act up every now and then but nothing serious. I'm glad I never sold it, because I still enjoy all my teenage games like God of war 3, cod mw series, ac black flag, tomb raider and black ops. Nostalgia is one hell of a ride.
Ill never forget going from a AV/CRT ps3 to plugging my ps3 on my first 39inch HD flat screen with HDMI, I was blown away.
Keep the vids coming, Great stuff. Subbed
Ico - a masterpiece in my opinion. I appreciate that you tried to show us these games with the best sound possible, but TH-cam converts the surround sound to regular stereo, so we won't hear 5.1.
On a modern TV with a 5.1 sound system you can actually watch it with 5.1! And thanks for the comment!!!
Ps3 has to be my favorite console of all time...
