- When a tanker collides into a commuter train that subsequently crashes into a warehouse, the firehouse is called to the horrific scene that tests everyone to the limits as life and death hangs in the balance.

With the ultimatum in place for him or the firehouse, Boden (Eamonn Walker) is tasked with making life-changing decisions regarding his future. Severide (Taylor Kinney) learns more about Katie (guest star Brittany Curran), the young woman he saw with his father (guest star Treat Williams). Meanwhile, Shay (Lauren German) and Dawson (Monica Raymund) are still at odds and Casey’s (Jesse Spencer) responsibility of being a surrogate father takes a sharp turn.

You know.... if the passengers trapped in the cart had a brain, they would see a standard issue window breaker (a hammer with a metal pointed tip) on a wall and use it to break the window and allow themselves out..... if my country can afford those, America probably can as well.
I know Australia (I live here) has those in buses so I can only assume trains have them somewhere as well, I just don't really pay attention to their location when I probably should. However now that I think about it, if others are similar to me, they don't pay attention to where these things are, and because it was a little dark inside the train, not to mention the damage and mangled metal, they probably couldn't find them.

Does America even have such tool lol, my country has them in buses, not sure about trains since derailment is never a thing ever, our trains are all built above ground away from traffic or underground. Even if the tracks are running along side the roads there is still trees in between of the road and the tracks and unlike America which they somehow put explosive tanks with passenger carts. My country does differently, we never mix stuff like this, I don't think I've even see any tanker train or even cargo trains ever in my country, its all passenger trains throughout the city/residential areas, maybe there are tanker trains by the shipyard.
In india we have one escape window in each carriage on both sides and a chain attached to them, in accident you have to pull it and then you can pull whole window inside like in planes

This seems like a major incident. Why are there not more units deployed? I come from a smaller country, and there would be a national emergency delared. Police, Fire and Ambulance, and maybe the Army Fire Brigade would be involved. There would be at least 100 vehicles assisting. They have around 4 in this clip.
from what it sounds like from what they were saying in the video, some schmuck was doing major cutbacks on the funding of the firefighters so it's harder for them to have more teams available

The season conflict is some lady was trying to reduce the costs of the fire department, so less engines are active. The ones that are available are gonna take a while to get there.
They said that others u it’s in the department we’re at a different calla np they were scenting mod e units from a different station, though don’t know why there’s no PD.
