How to resolve the message "Transmission Not in P Risk of vehicle Rolling Away" in Mercedes ML350

Tried to turn my car on this morning and it would not come on. I ended up jumpstarting the battery. After it finally came up, I noticed an issue with my driver door sensor. This video shows how I was able to resolve the issue. This was resolved on an ML350 2013.

Did you replace the driver door sensor? I also need to disconnect the battery to reset it.

No I didn't. I never encountered the issue again after resetting it from the battery.

I had to unplug my battery and plug it bag in. That basically resets the sensor

My CLA having that issue but it’s not starting how can I start it

Its not solve the problem. You just reset it. I think there a problem with the car.
