    Thanks for this, encountered this today whilst driving, scared the living cr*p outta me, but now armed with this info I can get it sorted myself!! Don.t even need the tool as when i looked underneath i can see the front nearside cable is damaged. Guessing that's the culprit as the others are all good. This video just showed me where to look and what to do. Fab info thanks.

    I had the same issue on my 2009 C200. Error codes pinted towards the right rear ABS sensor but it was still registering speed in live data on my scantool. I changed the sensor but it didn't fix the problem. The ABS pickup ring on the driveshaft (axle shaft) had delmainated. A new pickup ring fixed the problem. I also ended up reinstatin the orignal ABS sensor as there was nothing wrong with it. In most cases the ABS sensor is the problem.

    Hello Master,
    I hope you're doing well. Actually, I have a problem in my 2006 Mercedes ML350 car, in the parking lot it seems to accelerate normally but once on the road while driving, there is a yellow triangle shaped light that flashes after it there is a loss of power, the car refuses to accelerate and there are codes 1186 (p2004), 5130 (L6/4 speed sensor), 5110 (L6/2 speed sensor), and 7266 speedtronic sometimes not functional. but with the code p2004 the car worked normally no triangle light. but now as soon as the light flashes I can no longer move forward! Could the ABS be responsible for this problem? Thank you for your help please

    I got this issue as well, then the transmission would not shift from 1 higher, if I pull over, try R stays In neutral, try D stays in neutral, shut the car off, back on, now shifts fine, this happened a couple times now and recently it would not shift past 5th highway speeds, I ordered a replacement sensor it says right rear has issue, also i saw some people say their tire pressure was causing all these issues, and I do also have fix tire pressure sign on, so I will check that as well when I get home. Wish I was as calm as this guy when this car keeps acting up

    Has anyone ever had this problem and also had the red BRAKE light on and beeping at the same time? I have codes for left front and right rear abs sensors but there are no brake codes pending, stored or confirmed. The brakes are new 2k miles ago as well as the two brake wear sensors. Not sure if this is related or not.

      I replaced the front right CV Axel and evidently pulled the wheel hub too much to sit the axel, when I was done the red ABS light came on. I am about to get a cable and replace. it happens.

      I don’t think foxwell can reset the esp issue. I’m buying icarsoft MBII. that should reset my esp problem because some guy in another channel able to reset it.

    Hello,
    I got this error message today and the steering wheel stiffened up and could not turn the car, so I switched off the ignition and restarted the car, this time the steering wheel was normal but still got the same error message, checked operators manual and followed the instruction to drive a few meters above 20kmh, I did this and the dash lights went off but still have that ABS ESP error message under the MESSAGES section.
    Should I be worried or was that just a auto diagnostic fault by the cars computers!? car drives fine now.
    Do not have a scan tool unfortunately.

    • @shino8854
      @shino8854 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ummzify No more issues so far, I would suggest you check your tyre pressures and make sure they are within specification. On the petrol/diesel cap is the psi specs for your car, my tyre pressure was all over the place, once I got them within spec, everything so far has been fine and no more error messages.
      Good luck.

    Question: I got the ESC/ABS inoperative see owners manual warning at the same time I got the power steering inoperative warning. Is the ABS speed sensor the possible culprit for both warnings? There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the power steering, and they came in simultaneously within 2 minutes of starting the car (2010 Mercedes C300).

      @@kglife4180 I still haven't fixed it, but from what I understand from my research is there is a sensor ring in each wheel hub that measures the wheel rotation speed. I am going to replace the sensor and the ring for the right rear wheel along with the wheel bearing that I think is also shot, and see if that resolves it. Not sure why this would give a power steering failure warning as well. Weird thing is it shows no fault codes on the OBDII scanner I use. Probably need some $1000 Mercedes specific one, which I refuse to buy.

    • @waynedowney7616

      @@kglife4180 I just got the fault codes read at Auto Zone. I got a laundry list of 6 codes, all associated with the Electronic Stability Program Control Unit. Supply voltage High, Low, and Internal Faults. So looks like the ESC module is toast.

    I've got this same problem with my 2008 ML350 4matic.....the same set of lights are illuminated on the dashboard.....and the breaks slow the car down mostly when I'm in slow moving traffic, The ABS dash warning lights flashes continuously and the brake pads and discs make noise repeatedly...... I've been advised to change the ABS sensor...could this be the problem?

    • @scottybuilds3000
      @scottybuilds3000  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it's possible. Is there any way to have the codes read? There's an RPM (wheel speed/ABS sensor at each wheel, so having the trouble codes read should point you in the right direction. Also, keep in mind that even after a wheel speed sensor has been changes, the trouble codes will need to be cleared to turn the warning off.

      Or simply just check the air in all 4 tires, make sure they all have the right amount on mine that was the issue. I was about to spend money to fix it. But went and ahead and check all tire air pressure and after making sure each tire was with the right amount those lights never showed again just that simple.
