- DBS gave us an interesting concept that was introduced to us alongside Universe 6. In that universe, the Saiyans were actually... good? In this what-if, we're going to apply a similar concept to Universe 7 and see what happens to the Saiyans after their encounter with Frieza's army! This is a movie version of a previously completed series of videos.

It makes sense for shallot ad giblet to be with the other saiyans, because in the original timeline, they fought against the "evil saiyans" which were the ones in the frieza force, but the saiyans are good here, so they're with the other saiyans

I love how you break down the story making process in-between the story sections. Like this many characters is hard to work with, gotta be careful to not sound too head cannony. Really makes the stories sound better since someone who isn’t just throwing stuff out is at the helm.

You can create more stories after this what if, because it has so much potential. You can bring the villains from other DBZ movies: janemba, hirudegarn, bojack? Maybe create a story line called ”the namek war” where they fight off bosses like lord slug, garlic jr, maybe even cooler? Why not have another story line when you bring in the GT villains? Maybe super 17 and android 13, and the xenoverse villains? Maybe trunks come back and everyone is involved?

All heroes may have divided missions, some may need to travel to other planets to fight other villains. While other groups travels to other universes. Then everyone can be divided into groups, to eventually fight the last boss/real threat.
This story was amazing. My favorite by far from the original show. From The family getting to know one another, to them living their daily lives.

1:06:48 I think Broly could go all of the other forms of Super Saiyan, simply because I heard that Broly's LSS form is him combining Wrathful and Super Saiyan (like SSGSS Kioken) and so Broly could just go down the path of SS > SS2 > SS3 if he wanted to, and maybe he could go LSS2 or LSS3. Hey maybe the planet they were sent to had the same animal
Shallot and Giblet works at a restaurant called sayain restaurant. This is where goku and the sayain farmers give food to the chefs while Nappa and Gohan act like guards for the restaurant when they are available. And of course, Vegeta loves being the boss so he can learn how to cook and see what vegetables the framers farmed.
Why guards ? Even the chefs could destroy any thief with half a finger

I can say they would be a lot stronger though, since the Saiyan's also has the handy ability of getting stronger the more pure hearted they are, so the rebellion against Frieza might even awaken 1 super Saiyan during that struggle, and they would wipe more than half of the Frieza force and maybe even the Ginyu Force but ultimately still would lose to Frieza.
This makes sense, but it would kind of ruin the idea of the story being the same progression but with good saiyans (and therefore many more of them).

I really enjoyed this what if. Here's another idea: What if Goku and Vegeta revived Raditz and Napa to help fight the androids during the 3 year time skip? My thoughts are Vegeta wants to not be the only full blooded saiyan besides goku and thinks he could use them both as punching bags and cannon fodder for the androids. Goku's reasoning is that he wants to possibly change Raditz into an ally as well as another sparing partner. Piccolos thoughts are also we need all the bodies we can throw at this problem.
At this point it was too late to revive them cuz it's been more than a year since they died. Need the super dragonballs for this

This has to be my second if not my favorite series you've made
I love how Goku in the namek saga is still stronger than the entire team put together in this Frieza saga despite the fact that fact that they they're literally 10 saiyans training to together.
The thing is, they're training. In the actual DBZ timeline Goku had to fight Vegeta to near death, train at 100 Gs, fight Raditz to actual death, train with King Kai and learn the Kaio Ken which helped base Goku fight at higher levels. The training, no matter how good, does not compare to a Saiyan fighting to the death against higher power levels.
It's because a Zenkai boost got him from 90.000 to 3 million, while everyone here was way stronger than Goku in the original timeline before the Zenkai but still way behind after it.

I personally enjoyed this video and it was a blast to see how Salad handle characters like Paragus becoming a golfer and Turles saving the day in the Buu saga. It was honestly really fun and I want to go to the alternate universe where this was the show’s story.

I enjoy the Saiyans you added in and how u gave them all their own unique characters and careers. Plus The zones you added being Turles, Shallot and Giblet all had a moment which was nice especially since I rly like Shallot in DB Legends. Maybe make a what if about if him and Giblet were Canon/teleported to the time of the DBZ story.

Could have had trunks think that 19+20 were different because of the vastly different timelines.. resulting in cell coming in at a late point and absorbing 17+18 and becoming perfect cell without leaving the lab.. gives everyone another villain to fight

Wow, this is fairly similar to an idea I had when I first started seeing dbz what if's!
Not that the saiyans were good, but more that they weren't cruel. Basically klingons. A warrior race with firm ideas of honor. They killed/recruited a planet's fighters, but left the non-combatants for the freeza foot soldiers to deal with. It's one thing to destroy a worthy fighter (even if they are way weaker since they at least were warriors too) but another to slaughter the worthless.
I also pictured them trying to gather up all the survivors they could find.
Hey if broly ever gets back to fighting he would unlock ssj4 because it’s a controlled golden great ape with his wrathful and Lssj would be super powerful.

You know, since Piccolo was my really as strong as everyone else and was more of a technical fighter when they planned to kill frieza, piccolo could have learned how to make the energy ball so the Saiyans could go great ape. Nothing in canon says that only Saiyans can make them, it would just be useless for other races outside of some particular scenarios. Like the scenario where a non Saiyan would be traveling with actual saiyans by chance...for over a year...learning all the techniques possible to stay useful...WINK WINK...

I had this idea when I was teenager about raditz's son, having him either right when he arrived earth after "playing rough" with a human OR with a humanoid alien in one of his missions, or even with another sayan that stranded or was too weak (or due not being a fighter, pretty much like Gine) to complete her mission. Actually wrote some of that fanfic but never published any of it.

@@sandbox7945 Well, basically, Dr Raichi, Baby, & their creations (Hatchiyack, Dr. Myuu, & the Machine Mutants) would be allied with the Saiyans, which could create some very interesting results when it comes to how the Saiyan race grows in power (i.e potentially becoming cybernized, or using Baby as a sentient power boost)
Could you bring Goku back into the show? Since the gods have to raise their mortal levels Beerus could decide to take on two more saiyans as students (being Goku and Tarble because those two have the best reasons for going).
The beggining of the story kinda feels like Order 66 (Star Wars)... and I absolutely love it!
It fits so well with Dragon Ball, even more when it comes to space travel and rebelds surviving the emeperor's anihilation order.
