- After seeing the response to my other what if, "What if Gohan and Goten Were Twins?", I decided to see if I could apply the same concept to another duo of brothers. Instead of Raditz and Kakarot being born separately, what would happen if they were born together, and Raditz was sent to Earth with Kakarot? Both Piccolo and Raditz would go to hell and the Dragon Balls would become useless. Gohan trains with Goku and the other Z fighters. They probably would be able to get as strong as Nappa, but they wouldn't get as strong as Vegeta.

i love how goofy raditz looks when they were kids
I love this What If story, mainly because it features Raditz and Kakarrot having a very strong brotherly relationship and plus Raditz is in it and a hero. Plus some minor characters now have bigger roles and more involved with the story.
If this continues (which I hope it does) I would like to see the movie variations for this story. Like the Curse of the Blood Rubies, Deadzone, the World’s Strongest, Tree of Might, Lord Slug, The Broly saga, Cooler’s Revenge or better yet Enter Cooler and Frieza, Bojack and Fusion Reborn. How would those movies change with the Saiyan twins being involved?

1:27:30 in my own opinion, I think the Semi Perfect Cell (18 absorbed) would have a nearly identical power level to what 17 would give him, but I think the appearance would be different and seem more.. elegant? It would be more of a refined look and less brutish, but he would function the same. I only bring this up because, well it could be a concept art in the future.

I would honestly love to see like a full series of this to watch. or at least a movie. I was upset that Raditz wasn't given a second chance at all in the og.
He kinda was though. Goku had him by the tail and he promised he would leave them alone, so Goku let him go. Then Raditz betrayed Goku's trust, and after that Goku held him in place for Piccolo to kill him.

1:59:08 I just thought of something, since Ultimate allows you to get all of your power in your base, Raditz would be as powerful as his SSJ4 form in his base when he goes Ultimate.
I'd argue that they would be able to ride the nimbus. Pure heartedness is a term loosely thrown around. Vegeta is pure hearted by the time of BoG, for example.
Furthermore, Nimbus can choose who rides it. Bulma is selfish, Krillin is a sore loser and has a perverted side, and Roshi is king pervert. Not to mention that Yamcha is a bandit. But, in this story, Goku and Raditz may not be pure hearted completely, but they exist only to get stronger and fight; plus they don't seem malicious about it. I don't see why Nimbus wouldn't want them to ride it.
What if there were no Senzu beans? Think about all the times when those things were the difference between surviving and dying, how many times Goku would essentially waste them, or even worse rely on them. Take every scenario where Senzu beans were available and make them disappear. See how that works out.

i feel a need to say this, the only reason raditz was stronger was because he was on planet vegeta alot with the 10x gravity, giving him a headstart in power against goku in the original, it makes sense for them to be equals here.

"What if Frieza liked training?" I know that it's kinda unfair for Goku, Vegeta, and pretty much everyone else considering that Frieza reached the levels of the Gods in just four months, but I thought it would have been interesting to see just how much powerful Frieza could have gotten if he trained for a good chunk of his life.
i mean it would probably be boring since frieza would kill everyone and the story would end there but salad could some how make it interesting

Super Saiyan 4 is one of my favorite forms. When combining it with Super Saiyan God however I make the fur orange, the hair and eyes red, and they still have the same muscle tone as they usually would
I think you would get the super saiyan 4 form but a kinda teal blue

Eh, some people use it that way. Others just handwave it as something more akin to Trunks' flavor of Ikari because designwise it's pretty underwhelming.
I really wish that rabbits played a more prominent role in Dragon Ball as a series. He kind of showed up as this character with so much potential having been related to Goku and met a quick end. For the longest time I thought he would come back like Vegeta did, playing in more prominent role. But I guess it's just not in the cards

Your reasoning for why Kakarot beat Raditz in the second tournament is why I think Raditz would have lost to Tien. Raditz just came off of having to Fight Master Roshi, who is definitely no pushover, and Tien came off beating Yamcha, Not nearly as much of a threat. lol

When they were great apes I read their voices out loud in a deeper-pitch donkey Kong voice from the dkc cartoon. It was funny.
It would make sense that they have sent Saiyans in the past to the Earth and because it is still there, there is a plausible indication that it is a safe place to live with very little interest in destroying for any Saiyan that is sent there. Therefore, perfectly safe.
This can be argued about to bring it in light as a possibility and a good enough one by Bardock to send Kakarot to the Earth.

I've been waiting a long time for this one...
Cell only showed up in the main timeline during the Android Saga because of Trunk’s time travel. His original appearance without time travel should have been years after the activation of the Androids. Kinda derails the rest of what you have going on here, but Cell only came back in time to 3 years before the Androids were activated. He then returned to his Larval form and waited because Trunks had destroyed the Androids in his timeline. He showed up to take Trunks time machine a while after they were defeated. I don’t know the exact time, I I was going to say 3 years but I think thats something else but the Androids had time to ravage the world and enough time after they were destroyed while the world is rebuilding. You can see this at the end of the Saga where Trunks travels back to his future timeline to kill the Androids. Only after the world has been restored a bit does Trunks attempt to make a return trip to the past to inform everyone of his success in his time line is when Cell ambushes him. Since Trunks isn’t time traveling… at all, there is no discrepancy with the timeline. Not to mention that the Androids wouldn’t have let Kakarot or Raditz get away. If they’re active its because Gero wants revenge on them for destroying the Red Ribbon Army. So their sole programming at the moment is to destroy Kakarot, Raditz, and anyone else involved with the destruction of RRAHQ. Kakarot and Raditz BARELY know Super Sayan, which wasn’t close to strong enough to 17 and 18. Since everyone, died in the main time line, its probably a safe bet to say that they die in this one too. Though if that happened, Bulma would have sent her son back in time… so the whole story would have to shift from then on. I just find it silly that they “escape” the Androids when they died in the main timeline when they were pretty equal in power. 3 years of training didn’t make up the gap in the main timeline, and they were specifically informed of their arrival. If they’re not training as hard for 3 years and just barely unlocked super sayian…
