Thank you for doing these! I really enjoy your what if stories but I’ve fallen behind on a few of them lately, and I lose where I’m up to. these long form videos will be much easier for me to keep track!
I enjoy these full stories. But damn...this seems like it keep going maybe with Cell(All be it without Frieza's DNA. Trunks coming into the fray, and just a vastly different Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super.
Hell yeah! There may not be many left, but Bardock is definitely one of my top 3 favorite saiyans. I almost feel ashamed to say it but, the new Broly has stolen my heart. Imo, he's the most badass of them all. And I think he could be a direct descendant of Yamoshi. A cliche to say the least, but I don't care. IF Yamoshi is considered to be canon, then it would be the perfect story for the Legendary Super Saiyan. Possibly the Legendary Super Saiyan God. It just makes sense y'know. But, like I said....a cliche 😌.

@@the_real_idoit8166 Actually, Raditz is not only the same age as Vegeta, but also has the Queen's recognition, maybe even more so than Vegeta so even though Vegeta has a lot of the Saiyan population's votes. Plus, Raditz might start catching up to him and Goku like in the other What Ifs, so it could be up for debate. They might be rivals to the throne.
Their base forms would have at least kept up with Frieze's First at the very least, for the weaker of them. Or otherwise they managed to get one hell of a training with senzus or healing pods.
This is a noice way to make janitorial work less boring as I’m able to listen to a good ol story while making the floors cleaner than a kids bop album 👌💯
Would love a story where Bardock and Gine send off Goku, but manage to survive the attack and go after Goku a few years later. Seeing their son raised by Gohan and trained in Martial Arts.

This is one What If that I can see move past it's cannon counterpart and do it's own thing like What If Frieza Turned Good. One criticism I had was the lack of attention on the Z-Warriors for Saiyans. I mean even Goku was nothing, but a cliff note.
This what if is absolutely beautiful. The voices add so much for me, and the writing is spectacular. I have been rewatching this when I need something to listen to. One of my favorite parts of this of how nappa is written, going from someone who just is doing what they can to survive, then becoming a hollow, broken warrior after being trained by Frieza. Your what ifs are my favorite by far, and are just absolutely amazing. Sorry for dragging on there, but truly, this is spectacular.
OMG, that ending! Haha, I so want this to continue one day..maybe they could come up with their own way to introduce Beerus, maybe they return to Earth to try to use the Dragon Balls? Plus there's androids there now, but with them missing all the space stuff I'd imagine they'll be outclassed by everyone. Could even come up with some interesting drama of them deciding who all they should bring back and stuff.
I find your longer series hard to fallow, this idea of making them into ONE BIG video is amazing do it toll all long series But I have better idea Premier it so we watch it together as if it was live and chat about it
Ah, I wanted this space opera to continue with Frieza's family get in the mix. Honestly, I kind of wished we focused on the Z-Fighters a little more, like they could've bumped into some of the movie villains like Slug or Turles. Turles could've creeped into the Saiyan ranks since he wants Saiyan comrades, but hates the caste system. I feel like he would've been completely for the cause since Bardock is at the helm, but started stockpiling fruit from the Tree of Might harvested from a lot of the planets they've recaptured from Frieza, but offering it to the cause, maybe tempting a Raditz who might be envious of his brother's achievements with a shortcut to more power. Turles could even have a history with Raditz as a close comrade so Raditz might actually be more willing to partner with him. This causing a dilemma for Bardock, Raditz and Goku because while logically the Fruit provides results and align with Saiyan tradition, these methods go against everything Goku and the Z-Warriors stands for, who has been influencing the Saiyans to train harder than ever before. Saiyans like Raditz and Bardock would have to choose between Goku's and Turles' methods because these two groups and their ideologies cannot coexist because they are diametrically opposed. Imagine a huge climactic battle, a potential Saiyan civil war arc! A Raditz who also has eaten a lot of the Tree of Might fruit could betray Turles, come in clutch and redeem himself by stopping Turles alongside his family, but this time, leading the charge. I also like the idea that Turles potentially could sway Gohan onto his side after seeing his untapped potential and while everyone is too busy to keep a close eye on Gohan thanks to all of the missions, Turles could prey on this loneliness, starting out as Gohan's tutor in his studies, training and playmate to successfully kidnap Gohan as leverage later on. If he escapes, he could be a great wild card for future installments, especially if he escapes with Gohan to mold into his own image. Their is a potential redemption story or more likely turning Gohan into his Darth Vader. The chosen turning evil. I am imagining if Piccolo allied with the Z-Fighters to go to space, it would be more like out of a mercenary contract than how it is phrased here. Since he is already evil and only thinking of his own self-interest the Saiyan influence wouldn't help with that character redemption arc of his since that is basically what the Saiyan are known to do anyway. He probably would've fit right in. If the saiyans in general became better with Goku's influence than Piccolo likely would to, but if they didn't Piccolo could go even darker than he already was. Throw in another bad influence in Lord Slug that he could potentially usurp and that is another interesting story right there. Imagine if Piccolo forcefully fused with/absorbed the elderly Super Namekian within himself? How would that change the story? Or if he ever went rogue? Like could a more evil/ power hungry Piccolo be the one to conquer Namek in search of more power/ immortality instead of Frieza, with other different groups not far behind him, kickstarting the Namek Saga? In other words Piccolo might not get redeemed or becomes more like Vegeta with a longer story that is stretched out through different story arcs staying interesting.

I could hear mother climaxing from across the castle Vegeta walks away from the stunned raditz and bardock
Now here's a What If: What if the Super Saiyan transformation was just that - a Legend. How would that impact the story and how would our heroes adapt to cope for this massive loss in power? Transformations such as Kaioken, God Ki and Broly's beserker rage, etc are still taken into account in this What If
Wouldn’t that just end with Goku dying on planet namek when the spirit bomb fails? It is a neat idea, but some stuff needs to be changed so that it doesn’t end anticlimactically
I mean rage boost would possibly save goku. Rather than super sayian where you can control it. Rage is just a temporary power boost rather than a transformation.
Goku dies on Namek, Freeza makes his way to earth and vaporizes it. Beerus eventually wakes up and kills Freeza. U7 never gives the OmniKing the idea for a tournament and gets erased. End of the what if.
NOOO NOO NOO, this could work except imagine it more like this. Instead of super sayian goku just gets a special zenkai after idk lets say something occurs. He gets the strength of a super sayian but we never get super sayians.
King Cold is weaker than frieza, the androids would have no use as Goku has not been on Earth for years,there would not be enough energy to awake Majin Buu,Beerus probrably would not care about SSJG because so many of them.
@@majesticed9329 king cold would still want revenge, and for majin buu there actually would be when they took energy from gohan babadi was impressed that earth had so much energy meaning he would have used up all the energy from the earthlings to resurrect buu. Finally Beerus hated the saiyans and since he slept for years he wouldn’t know that they’ve changed and would want to destroy them himself
that was an amazing story Masako. as i was listening i was astonished at the level of storytelling you were able to accomplish; the pacing was excellent and i was hooked the whole way through. please never stop making these what ifs for as long as possible. they are truly a treasure in the DB community.
I mean even the still evil Piccolo and Goku's current rival is here and we got nothing. I see so much potential fun here, especially if we involve some of the movie villains into this space opera. Like Turles and the Crusher Corps creeping into the Saiyans' ranks and trying to influence the Saiyans with a shortcut, the Tree of Might's fruit vs Goku and the Z-Warrior's ideology about training to overcome all of your obstacles in life leading to a civil war storyline where Raditz could end up picking Turles over his brother initially. The Tree of Might's narrative would be a lot more interesting in this longer narrative than that movie's short runtime because it can give the Z-Warriors something meaningful to do and act as a gateway for Gohan to enter into the overall story. Or Lord Slug being used for Piccolo's character to get some shine and focus, maybe a new lead into Namek's arc, like imagine if Piccolo just went rogue from the Saiyans for whatever reason and got 'recruited' by Lord Slug, who is the first Namekian he has ever come across. He and the fans would be keen in learning more about the race in general and Slug is much closer to what we would imagine after King Piccolo. Piccolo in general is missing his entire redemption story arc that is integrally tied to Gohan so he is essentially would be trying to find his place within his own race like Goku is. Though I could see Piccolo just usurping Lord Slug, like Lord Slug doesn't know of Earth's Dragon Balls so he tries to Namekian Fuse with Piccolo by tricking him, but Piccolo overpowers his spirit and becomes the dominant one effectively becoming a fused Super Namekian and gaining more of an evil edge to him, which is bad considering he was already walking a fine line between good and evil.
There was once a man, in Vegeta long ago. He was big and strong, and with his tail he could grow. Lord Frieza looked at him with terror and with fear, but to Saiyan chicks he was such a lovely dear. He could teach fighting like a hermit full of ecstasy and fire, but he also was the kind of leader everyone would desire. Ba-ba-ba-bardock, lover of the Saiyan Queen...
Honestly you have the best what ifs, you capture the feel of dragon ball especially the comedy aspect not every character is super OP very enjoyable I know this Video is about a year old but you just gained a new subscriber

Still would like too see this What If too continue, ether with the Return of King Cold, Cooler coming into the picture. This new Era of Sayians, the rebels going to earth or something I hope Masako and this group find away to continue this story to some extent. This is one of my favorite What ifs on the channel , was here since it started in parts lol.

for some reason it feels incomplete i feel goke or gohan would let is Bardock about the dragon balls and they would bring back napa and the other sayins. maybe a future warrior saiyan fight on Namek against cold instead of on earth and their would be more half-saiyan.
They you definitely give bardock a better story plus him and gine are my favorite character thanks to dragon ball super broly movie I can't wait to see more what if you have we really need more information about the old Saiyan's or how Saiyan's are born
Not gonna lie, I've always wanted to see either an epilouge or a sequel to this where the Z Fighters return to Earth after the war against the Frieza Empire ends. Would things be the same, or would Gero have taken the opportunity of Goku and crew being absent to conquer the world with his artificial humans? He would've known they left since his bug drones were never destroyed, so what would he have done with that knowledge?
This story is awesome! It reminds of the eragon books where the rebels invade the empire and the all powerful evil king just lets them invade knowing he can beat them at any time
The way you tell stories reminds me of 1st grade listening to a teacher tell a story i dont even realize its just you talking with the occasional picture cause im imagining as you talk, might i say cool figures of goku gohan and and the dragon balls behind you but yeah between dbza and the what ifs im subscribing your pretty awesome
I mean, the Raditz encounter would go pretty much perfectly well, with Raditz being there to reunite with his family peacefully in the first place. Then, she might be willing to train to fight Frieza's forces, but she did turn the page and move on from the Saiyan race at this point in her own story. Kakarot would be thrilled though. Now, imagine a crossover with "What if Kid Goku became a SSJ". A battle between Raditz with over 14 000 and a young SSJ Goku of around 15 000. That'd make the Z-gang very spooked to say the least to have those titanic power levels clash on Earth at that time.

Throw in another bad influence in Lord Slug that he could potentially usurp and that is another interesting story right there. Imagine if Piccolo forcefully fused with/absorbed the elderly Super Namekian within himself? How would that change the story? Or if he ever went rogue? Like could a more evil/ power hungry Piccolo be the one to conquer Namek in search of more power/ immortality instead of Frieza, with other different groups not far behind him, kickstarting the Namek Saga?
In other words Piccolo might not get redeemed or becomes more like Vegeta with a longer story that is stretched out through different story arcs staying interesting.

Now here's a What If: What if the Super Saiyan transformation was just that - a Legend. How would that impact the story and how would our heroes adapt to cope for this massive loss in power? Transformations such as Kaioken, God Ki and Broly's beserker rage, etc are still taken into account in this What If
Wouldn’t that just end with Goku dying on planet namek when the spirit bomb fails?
It is a neat idea, but some stuff needs to be changed so that it doesn’t end anticlimactically
I mean rage boost would possibly save goku. Rather than super sayian where you can control it. Rage is just a temporary power boost rather than a transformation.
Goku dies on Namek, Freeza makes his way to earth and vaporizes it. Beerus eventually wakes up and kills Freeza. U7 never gives the OmniKing the idea for a tournament and gets erased. End of the what if.

King Cold is weaker than frieza, the androids would have no use as Goku has not been on Earth for years,there would not be enough energy to awake Majin Buu,Beerus probrably would not care about SSJG because so many of them.
@@majesticed9329 king cold would still want revenge, and for majin buu there actually would be when they took energy from gohan babadi was impressed that earth had so much energy meaning he would have used up all the energy from the earthlings to resurrect buu. Finally Beerus hated the saiyans and since he slept for years he wouldn’t know that they’ve changed and would want to destroy them himself

that was an amazing story Masako. as i was listening i was astonished at the level of storytelling you were able to accomplish; the pacing was excellent and i was hooked the whole way through. please never stop making these what ifs for as long as possible. they are truly a treasure in the DB community.

I like the idea that Bardock did a suicide charge in the scenario he didn't convince anyone, but considers retreat when he has people to protect.

I mean even the still evil Piccolo and Goku's current rival is here and we got nothing. I see so much potential fun here, especially if we involve some of the movie villains into this space opera. Like Turles and the Crusher Corps creeping into the Saiyans' ranks and trying to influence the Saiyans with a shortcut, the Tree of Might's fruit vs Goku and the Z-Warrior's ideology about training to overcome all of your obstacles in life leading to a civil war storyline where Raditz could end up picking Turles over his brother initially. The Tree of Might's narrative would be a lot more interesting in this longer narrative than that movie's short runtime because it can give the Z-Warriors something meaningful to do and act as a gateway for Gohan to enter into the overall story.
Or Lord Slug being used for Piccolo's character to get some shine and focus, maybe a new lead into Namek's arc, like imagine if Piccolo just went rogue from the Saiyans for whatever reason and got 'recruited' by Lord Slug, who is the first Namekian he has ever come across. He and the fans would be keen in learning more about the race in general and Slug is much closer to what we would imagine after King Piccolo. Piccolo in general is missing his entire redemption story arc that is integrally tied to Gohan so he is essentially would be trying to find his place within his own race like Goku is. Though I could see Piccolo just usurping Lord Slug, like Lord Slug doesn't know of Earth's Dragon Balls so he tries to Namekian Fuse with Piccolo by tricking him, but Piccolo overpowers his spirit and becomes the dominant one effectively becoming a fused Super Namekian and gaining more of an evil edge to him, which is bad considering he was already walking a fine line between good and evil.

Not gonna lie, I've always wanted to see either an epilouge or a sequel to this where the Z Fighters return to Earth after the war against the Frieza Empire ends. Would things be the same, or would Gero have taken the opportunity of Goku and crew being absent to conquer the world with his artificial humans? He would've known they left since his bug drones were never destroyed, so what would he have done with that knowledge?

I mean, the Raditz encounter would go pretty much perfectly well, with Raditz being there to reunite with his family peacefully in the first place.
Then, she might be willing to train to fight Frieza's forces, but she did turn the page and move on from the Saiyan race at this point in her own story. Kakarot would be thrilled though.
Now, imagine a crossover with "What if Kid Goku became a SSJ". A battle between Raditz with over 14 000 and a young SSJ Goku of around 15 000. That'd make the Z-gang very spooked to say the least to have those titanic power levels clash on Earth at that time.
