Just want to say thanks for your content, I've followed the gas HD videos closely and two weeks ago ended up buying my first new pickup, 2024 chevy 3500 LT gas.
Thanks, I appreciate you being here. Congrats on the new rig! Kong is still doing great, that was the 24 L8t gas that I sold to a contractor friend. Zero issues and he works it hard. With the 3500 payload, that's going to be a great rig!
Speaking of not only recalls but TSB's and anything at all related to a certain vehicle, does GM have a location on their website to put in ones vin and that it would list all of this out or do they hide everything that is not an all out recall ?. Or is there some independent source that compiles lists that one can access, info that would come in handy before ones warranty ran out to have them perform repairs on certain issues that they would not actively reach out to a customer to have done otherwise.
ok so what I want to know is what is different between the gas and diesel trans?? Other than mounting surface how or what changes between valve body's? Also since these were "co designed" with Ford, is this a similar issue that they had early on?? And finally, isnt the 1/2 ton trans different all together than the HD setup's??? Thanks for any further info you can bring to the table!!
This is bs GM is waiting for someone to die before they do something! This will be my last GM vehicle I purchase, everyone should feel like this!! Make your concerns known!!! They should go through and replace these valves regardless.
GM transmissions are garbage. Just got rid of a 2024 Chevrolet 2500 with very very hard shifts from 7th to 8th gear. It’s not just the 2020-2022. I will never buy another GM product. They used to make good trucks not anymore. It was in the shop over 30 days. I went to the dealership and picked it up and traded it in.
Bandaid is all that’s happening. They still should be required to replace a bad transmission in this recal at ANY mileage and any time in the future.

You did not provide the website!!
@@joeb.8625 sorry about that it's in there now.
It’s doing in my 2021 5.3 gas engine truck this B/S
Didn't GM and Ford work together to design and build this transmission?
I have a 2024 Sierra 1500 3.0 diesel. I think my transmission has hard shifts.
I bet Billy bob will act like this never happened 😂

So gm is putting a band aid on it and hoping when yours does lock up later they will say sorry too many miles so we cannot do anything about it
Paper thin medal and plastic and a ton of recalls and no parts to fix there junk. Good luck customers.
Awwww. I thought ram was only one to get recalls?
Ford number 1 in recalls
@@davidleeosbourne2727gm is the number 1 in deaths from not issuing recalls.
Do ALL gm products still burn oil???
had 7 of them and not one of them had any issues....these were all 2020 or newer
Very strange why they have come out with a recall that includes two different transmission platforms and lump the recall together.
Lol😂 them junky ass general moters products
