I have problems with motion sickness also, but I don't like taking anything that makes me sleepy. I was fortunate enough to discover wrist bands of tiny beads at a gift shop in Alaska. I had purchased tickets to ride on a boat to see glaciers and the wildlife. I had asked the woman in the gift shop for motion sickness medicine and they were sold out. She recommended the wrist bands and said they work very well without any sort of side effects, so I bought one and wore to give it a try. The waters were rough where we had to cross into part of the ocean. I was able to enjoy the tour without getting sick or sleepy. It was WONDERFUL!! I hope you have something like them in Europe so you won't be sleepy or groggy, that could be very dangerous when riding. I have always dreamed of seeing the old historical towns of Europe, but know I will never get to see them. So thank you so much for sharing your journey and allowing me to have a glimpse of the beauty there. Safe travels!!
Thank you dear ❤️my Grandfather came from Norway.Im living in Kansas. I appreciate your videos I’m learning a lot about the people And world. Have a beautiful day ❤️
Every journey that you commit is really amazing to follow Lea and I'm quite sure this one will be very special. Thank you very much for sharing it!! Safe ride!! 👍👍
Hi! I live in Stavanger and have taken the Hirtshals ferry several times. Yes, you took some wrong turns looking for Lysbotn :-) My wife and I had to laugh a little when we realized which way you must have gone. I think you ended up going through the Tau tunnel (newly opened, longest underwater driving tunnel in the world). Your route to Bergen was a good choice - beautiful route (sorry about the rain). If you ever are in Stavanger again I'd be happy to be a local tour guide. I've ridden all over southern Norway and know it well. The ride to Lysbotn on a nice summer day is glorious. Ride safe!
Haha thank you so much! And yes there was a really long tunnel involved and that was the moment when there was as well no option to turn back anymore. 😂 I hope to be back at one point and then really be able to go to lysboten (hopefully in bright sunshine then 😂)
Hi greetings from ghana. Lived in germany for 18yrs. But finally came home to africa. Love how trip to ghana got the most likes. Good luck with your Journeys and safe trips where ever you go. I watched one episode and had to go back and watch all of them. Cant wait for the next one. Viel Spaß und alles gute
Thank you, that makes me so happy! Can understand that you went back to your beautiful continent, Africa is something else. Really hope to be able to continue the journey there soon! Manwhile I hope you as well enjoy this trip in the other direction!

Thank you Lea for the views of Norway. Beautiful scenery even with all the rain. Hope the weather improves for your next posting. Stay safe. Cheers, 😀🇨🇦 Dan
Rain reminds me of my Scottish tour I did a few years ago, every evening dripping water in different hotel reception areas and drying boots out with the hair dryer ready for the next day's dousing! All the best from Wiesbaden, Nick
Sounds a bit like our first two weeks of this journey - only that my boots kept pretty dry for the amount of rain! Lucky me, I know that feeling when everything is wet inside out...
Lea, The quality of your photography and drone shots has evolved significantly from the last trip. You are also showcasing Europe's natural beauty and history very well. It's a pity you had so much rain. And also sorry to hear about your seasickness though you seem to handle it very well. I guess with the part of the world you are get you cant really get away from it. My son suffers from it so I can really sympathise with you. Someone below mentioned a non-medicinal solution. As always love your narration and humour. Cheers
Love the bike, mine is a similar r1200. Spent a few months with Bergen as a base .... love Norway. Enjoy your travels .... My base in Germany is Grafenau. 😎👍
Good movie. And travelling by motorcycle is definitely cool. I visited Nordkapp by coach in 1999, but couldn't get down to the beautiful town, Bergen. Hope to visit it someday. Message from Japan. 31st/Jan/2021.
Nice episode Lea, it sucks when it rains all day thanks for the tourist information. You have such a calm voice. Ride save take youre time, and the weels to the tarmac 👍
My hat (err helmet) off to you for not eating from 05:00 until 10:00 while riding in the rain. I would have ran into a supermarket long before starving. I love your patient way of telling your story together with such excellent footage. Drive safe!
thank you! I have to admit that I would have run to a supermarket more early too - but we didn't come across any befor this one. ;) Showed my travel partner your comment about my "patient way to tell my story", he had to laugh out loudly.

How cool! This is my home. Born in Haugesund. Lived in Bergen, and now live just south of Stavanger. But I’ve never been to Tysnes. Good to see you took the twisty route, even in this horrible rain. This was a very entertaining ride, and I’m looking forward to the next stages.
I as well didn’t plan to go to tysnes. But was a nice surprise! 😁 Very sad though that we only saw all this beautiful parts of Norway only in the rain and missed out on so much. But always a reason to come back then! 😍
I loved watching this video ~ rain did not seem to bother you more than any other minor inconvenience motorcycling is so amazing warm is warmer cool is cooler life is lifier
Nice to see I wasn't the only one who took the opportunity to travel on two wheels last summer. We might actually have passed each other on the border control. I traveled on my bike from Stavanger to Valais, Switzerland, shortly after the borders opened in June. I also met up with a friend of mine who lives in Germany who also ride bikes. He showed me some amazing country roads from Hannover to Erfurt. I'm already thinking of doing another trip this summer if the borders allow it. Anyway, I can't think of any safer way of travel than on a motorcycle during these times.

I have done this ride quite a few times from Berlin to Bergen. I usually take the ferry to Kristiansand from Hirtshals. I have a friend in Haugesund so that's usually my first day and its a really nice ride. Second day is to Bergen. I'm usually going around may and august and the weather is always unpredictable ha ha!
