My thing that I hate about people is when they speak for someone else. He kept saying “Tayshia does not want this” “Tayshia is blinded by him” “Tayshia this, Tayshia that” as if he’s had a conversation with Tayshia about her feelings for Derek. She was the one who initiated it, and yet, since he felt she was his women, he didn’t even think to ask. He just assumed Derek started it all, and that Derek must be blamed. And he just bulldozed over Derek and wouldn’t allow him a chance to speak. He was throwing a tantrum.

I thought only the people coming in the first couple of weeks had the heads up before filming. As the weeks go on it’s about interest and availability for future contestants. I think past contestants said maybe they knew one week before they arrived that they were coming.
I think Dean has issues cause of his dad it has screwed up his thinking about relationships...doesn't anyone remember him from the hometown?

Im so over Kristina. Shes really catty and manipulative and last year we all felt bad for her because of Dean but shes making her own mistakes this season.
Funny enough I did ‘t feel bad for her when she was together with dean. We all know Dean is unstable and Kirstin’s two years ago was MORE unstable. This season, she is very stable. She’s observing more and not trying to interfere and interfere only when asked. Dude, Blame asked Kristina what he should do and she gave him the best response. “If you’re not ready or your not into her, don’t give her the rose.” Of course why not take the friendship rose? If you were in anyone’s shoes you would do the same thing. Now to do the crazy come to paradise, yes flirt but go blindly into a relationship without knowing does this person have stds, does this person have a crazy ex, does this person have debt, does this person have personality problems. All you see is the make believe and the LUST of the show. But what makes a relationship work WORK isn’t about the surface level shit like dates, it’s compatibility.
There are times I disagree with Lauren Zina but she’s smart, she has to promote the show otherwise she wouldn’t get paid for Roses and Rose.
she's just having fun. I understand her more now , a lot of its Tongue n cheek . I actually like her a lot more this season then lasts tbh . she's just not being insecure n throwing herself at a guy or pinning after one , if it happens to happens ... coming cross way better this year for me!

i think john paul jones experiences really heightened emotions. when he’s happy, he’s extremely happy. when he’s sad, he’s very sad. when he’s mad, he’s really mad. i think that’s why people watching are super drawn to him and feel so strongly when he does something; everything he does has so much passion.

There is something to JPJ's accusations against Derek, though it was clearly fed to him by a producer and poorly articulated. He was dating Olivia Caridi but dumped her to go onto Paradise for more exposure (where he met Taylor). He told Olivia while dating her that it makes a lot of sense to forge alliances with people who have a higher profile. She thought nothing of it but that is then exactly what he did in leaving her for the show and for Taylor, who at the time was fresh off Nick's season and in the public eye more than Olivia was. As Taylor's star waned, he broke off the engagement and turned to dating Stephanie Pratt, of The Hills fame. Then he returned to Paradise to date Demi, the highest profile alum on the tv at the moment aside from maybe Hannah B. He is definitely very keen on fame and maintaining his relevance by making strategic matches. That doesn't make him different to any of these others but he's also not some pure-intentioned knight in shining armour and JPJ is quite right to be concerned that that's what he's doing again with Tayshia.

This season of BIP is an absolute train wreck. Almost everyone is lacking in morals. Some people are acting as though they haven't seen the opposite sex for decades and pounce on the first available v or p. They change partners like they change their underwear, if they even wear them.
I LAUGHED so hard at Lauren's commentary every episode...She says exactly what I have in mind and it feels so satisfying to hear someone say it out loud here. She doesn't do the whole 'bashing' thing like on old school TV where it's just nasty and gossip commentary you know. Thank you Lauren for being you.
I hate to say it, but I gotta applaud Dean for being upfront with her if he knew he wasn't ready for it. He could've just kept going through Paradise knowing that he wasn't going to get there but he didn't. Could he have done it maybe NOT on her birthday? Yeah that would've been nice...but overall I guess I gotta give props. Also I was very confused when it came to Caelynn being so upset that Dean left and then just switching to Connor S within a day, idk how I feel about it...
Um, well, what is he doing in paradise if he knows that he's not relationship material? Leading people on is very uncool. It's hurtful. I've seen that detached, Lothario type before - dated one. They damage people, and that's just mean, no matter if they have excuses because of some background or childhood issues. Fix them before you go around hurting people.

JPJ came up with this ridiculous story about Derek because he was jealous. He SCREAMED at him in the middle of a wedding, without giving him a chance to speak. Later, when Derek wanted have a normal conversation, JPJ again accused him of the crazy nonsense he made up in his head and would not give Derek a chance to speak- he kept saying “ nope” , over and over when Derek tried to talk. He acted like he lost his mind.

Lauren real nice wrap up of BIP. I loved it! Family style dining! lol Dean just needs to get some therapy so he can get his life right. I think deep down he is a nice guy but he is too cute to be a hot mess. JPJ is spiraling out of control. I didn't even think he was in love with Tayshia. But he sure looks like it. Clay needs to make a decision either you are pursuing Nicole or going back to Angela. She just needs closure to move on.
Connor is still fun to watch. The guys with Connor are Chase McNary and Brooks Forester (manbun guy, Desiree season). He looks very different. He is still dreamy and gorgeous. It has been 6 years...but I can't forget that he blindsided Desiree and dumped her even though she was in love with him. It was a crazy breakup.
