Me too, I'm sick of it. When he crys, coughs & starts to vomit, I hit mute & turn my head from my TV screen. JPJ has this dumb, slow talking surfer voice about him. I hear he is supposed to be in the financial industry and sometimes he sounds intelligent and most of the time he sounds so dumb. I think Tayshia is only hanging on to JPJ to stay on the show til the end. She is nice for scenery and does give smart & good advice like Big Mike did. Totally agree. I'm really not a fan of the friendship roses and now that there is a same-sex couple in Paradise, are contestants going to start giving friendship roses to same-sex friends? It would mess up the format and I think producers need to stop allowing friendship roses of any kind because it goes against the premise of the show.

I don’t remember this show being so focused on the people that will not be leaving with anyone. Blake needed to go three episodes ago. Kristina too. Connor was waiting three weeks in a hotel room before he was finally able to leave and it was for the wedding. Who else is in Mexico waiting for their turn in Paradise? This group isn’t vibing. They are actually kind of toxic. Producers waited too long to bring in new people. There are no great love stories this time. Hannah and Dylan aren’t it and Katie and the Chris don’t seem solid either. What happened to Sydney and Mike? When did they end it? I was so bored this episode. They could have shaved 15 minutes off the Tayshia triangle.

Lauren! I'm gonna say this with all sincerity, respect and motherly affection for JPJ. I am more and more conviced that JPS's bizarre behaviors, responses, and cluelessness on reading others is because he is probably a very high functioning person with Aspergers. As far as I can tell from watching him, and watching what the other cast members say about him when trying to figure him out, I really do think he is ASD. This coming from a wife and mother to my family members on the Spectrum, whom I love very much. If people would take that into consideration, then maybe they would be a tad more understanding about his weird responses and socially immature reactions. It doesn't excuse the mess, but it may explain it. Still rooting for JPJ to come out of BIP a better person and hopefully find love if he didn't here.
I honestly think last season was the best paradise season. I love love, and I’m not seeing much of that this season. It’s kind of sad. I also feel like too many people are messing up and doing the wrong thing, and it’s making me not like anyone. Last season was great, and a lot of great couples came out of it. Not sure about this one
I really liked the one from 2 years ago(?) with Raven and Adam. That was my favorite so far. I just feel like this one is so all over the place and none of the couples actually seem real.
Princess Lene I think it’s the franchise dreaming up drama. They should have only invited Clay or Angela, not both imo. The breakup is too fresh and it’s not fair to anyone really. The show claims to be about finding love, but constantly invites drama for their own agenda. My first season watching BIP and I’m not impressed. Bachelorette is my fav and bachelor is mostly enjoyable, this is not very fun so far.

Regarding Derek and JPJ situation. Nick Viall actually made a pretty good point on his podcast when he had Tanner on. He basically said that when he was younger (aka JPJ) and he would see his friends that are girls date older guys (aka Derek) he would find them creepy and weird. And Tanner agreed as well and it makes the most sense to me. So yeah I kind of think the same. Jealousy, insecurities, immaturity and what Nick said combined is what l think about JPJ.
I’ve been saying Derek is a used cars salesman. Yes he looks good in all of this season but he knows the camera is on. He knows how to work it. Have not been a fan since he was on the bachelorette and still am not. #NotmyRespectfulKing

Derek was definitely in the right here. I mean, the reason he was raising his voice was because he was so frustrated that JPJ didn't know how to have a mature conversation with him, even though Derek has given JPJ multiple chances to have a healthy discussion to settle their differences. I would be very frustrated with JPJ at this point if I were in Derek's shoes, and yes, I already made a left turn with JPJ last episode and while he did redeem himself a tiny bit with his conversation with Tashia towards the end of the episode, I'm still not happy with his behavior.

Lauren! I'm gonna say this with all sincerity, respect and motherly affection for JPJ. I am more and more conviced that JPS's bizarre behaviors, responses, and cluelessness on reading others is because he is probably a very high functioning person with Aspergers. As far as I can tell from watching him, and watching what the other cast members say about him when trying to figure him out, I really do think he is ASD. This coming from a wife and mother to my family members on the Spectrum, whom I love very much. If people would take that into consideration, then maybe they would be a tad more understanding about his weird responses and socially immature reactions. It doesn't excuse the mess, but it may explain it. Still rooting for JPJ to come out of BIP a better person and hopefully find love if he didn't here.
I honestly think last season was the best paradise season. I love love, and I’m not seeing much of that this season. It’s kind of sad. I also feel like too many people are messing up and doing the wrong thing, and it’s making me not like anyone. Last season was great, and a lot of great couples came out of it. Not sure about this one
I really liked the one from 2 years ago(?) with Raven and Adam. That was my favorite so far. I just feel like this one is so all over the place and none of the couples actually seem real.
My first season and I’m so disappointed. I’ll try another season.

Princess Lene I think it’s the franchise dreaming up drama. They should have only invited Clay or Angela, not both imo. The breakup is too fresh and it’s not fair to anyone really. The show claims to be about finding love, but constantly invites drama for their own agenda. My first season watching BIP and I’m not impressed. Bachelorette is my fav and bachelor is mostly enjoyable, this is not very fun so far.
It's not about a right to be anywhere. It's why would you want to be around someone who dumped you. But oh well.

I turned my back on JPJ last episode and him crying and blowing his nose without a napkin, paper towel, etc. was about the grossest thing ever. He's off my list, I think he has been hit in the head by a surfboard one too many times.

I actually disagree with Haley! He went on 2 dates with JPJ even though she saw the conflict with him & Derek over Tayshia. The fact that he told her he had something with tayshia was a heads up to Haley. I think she was offended because he chose tayshia over her & she didn't think he would do that. My thing is, demi basically did the same thing with Derek & their connection was stronger.

Regarding Derek and JPJ situation. Nick Viall actually made a pretty good point on his podcast when he had Tanner on. He basically said that when he was younger (aka JPJ) and he would see his friends that are girls date older guys (aka Derek) he would find them creepy and weird. And Tanner agreed as well and it makes the most sense to me. So yeah I kind of think the same. Jealousy, insecurities, immaturity and what Nick said combined is what l think about JPJ.
I’ve been saying Derek is a used cars salesman. Yes he looks good in all of this season but he knows the camera is on. He knows how to work it. Have not been a fan since he was on the bachelorette and still am not. #NotmyRespectfulKing

Derek was definitely in the right here. I mean, the reason he was raising his voice was because he was so frustrated that JPJ didn't know how to have a mature conversation with him, even though Derek has given JPJ multiple chances to have a healthy discussion to settle their differences. I would be very frustrated with JPJ at this point if I were in Derek's shoes, and yes, I already made a left turn with JPJ last episode and while he did redeem himself a tiny bit with his conversation with Tashia towards the end of the episode, I'm still not happy with his behavior.
I hope Taysha and Mike meet up after the filming completed. They belong together. Both special people!
