- Lauren Zima is back to recap episode four of Peter Weber‘s season of 'The Bachelor!' Peter takes Victoria F. on a date that features her ex, country singer Chase Rice, making it the most awkward one-on-one EVER. I found this episode to be so annoying. The girls are so immature and petty. They need to start casting people slightly older. It's like almost every single girl is 22-23 now and they act like they are in high school. Not to mention that production is facilitating way too much fake or planned drama. Can we go back to the earlier years where the show was about romance and didn't feel so fake?

How is Peter supposed to learn Sydney's middle name if she spends her time taking about other women and bitching at him? This is the worst group of children. They need to get rid of the pageant girls and up the age. Poor Peter. He's too nice for this show.
Side note: I think it's effing weird Victoria F didn't come back from her date immediately and tell the other women that her ex-whatever was on the date. This girl spends 90% of her time on screen freaking the eff out about everything, but she is suddenly tight lipped about being completely bamboozled by the producers in such a specific way?
Also failed to mention she's gone skydiving before and pretended to be scared the entire time...-_-
The Victoria’s and Sydney are annoying. Especially when they are not giving the women full facts which causes them to just be assholes along with them.

Well you have to be in their position... they don't have enough time to be with Peter. Bachelor show is like 2 months. And Peter got to talk to each girls... trying to remember what's her favorite and her life story. Sydney is trying to say that.... Alayah is going to take away some time with him. She is really frustrated.

This episode, if the women were all a few years older:
1. Victoria F tells Peter about Chase Rice being her ex, and then laughs about it later. They talk about meaningful things over dinner.
2. Peter asks Alayah to stay, and the girls either accept it and try to respect his “journey” or voluntarily go home.
3. All of the cocktail parties are attended in sweats and fuzzy socks, AND with wine sippy cups. #dreams

While that sounds heavenly after the mess we have going here, I would like to point out, it's not just about age. I've seen incredible maturity and respectful, balanced behaviour out of 18-22 year olds. Odds of someone not being a petty, petulant adult child does increase with age, but the casting this season is like they wanted the least mature and mentally secure for their ages. Fairly certain if the producers threw in some 30yo women, they'd somehow manage to find all the childish and petty 30yo women.

Victoria P seems like the one who is there for other opportunities, she reminds me so much of Caelyn with the pageantry, the two faced lying, the trying to play the victim while putting on this perfect facade. Victoria’s fake little “I’m angry with Peter” performance was solely for the benefit of the other women and she completely played Peter by being “sweet” to Alayah. I really think Alayah is just young and ignorant, that she’s immature without being malicious. Victoria P on the other hand seems incredibly calculated, maybe her back was bothering her since she was carrying the weight of so many lies?
I want both Victoria P and Alayah to go home. Victoria P is a liar that only starts crying when confronted. Similar to her thoughts on Alayah, I think she is manipulative. Also, they can take Victoria F with them. She is so dramatic and always crying and whispering for no reason. Everyone has an ex and she made it a bigger deal than what it was. Then she pretends to be super shy, but goes to screams at Alayah for saying what they were all going to find out about anyway. Also, Sydney should maybe use her time wisely with Peter and not talk about others so that he could get to know her better.
I'm so over both Victoria's at this point ! I can't believe Kelsey's date was the highlight of this episode after champagnegate, but it was. The women can't see past their own jealousy and sense of entitlement to realize they keep fueling the drama by complaining about it instead of just using whatever time they have wisely to get to know Peter. Not liking what I'm seeing of this cast at all, too catty.
The producers need to stop creating so much drama. At this point, there is just way too much and it is making the show hard to watch

I totally disagree. I love it. I love how obvious it is and it makes their responses super funny. The premise of this show is funny. If taken too seriously it’s kind of sad. I enjoy the funny.

It must've felt good to have Peter want her back after getting torn apart by the other girls. I would be smirking too! The truth always trumps a lie! Their true colors are shining through. I just hope Peter will stick up for her because the other women are being nasty right now.

Amy Christine I got the vibe that Alyaha is trying to say their friendship was more than V thought. Victoria P is a giver type personality and passive - it appears she was Alyahas friend as an acquaintance, maybe just amused her and A took it as more- and V couldn’t understand how she thought their friendship was like if they had a deep long friendship- maybe A was a stalker type friend

VP claimed she didn’t know where her next meals were coming from? Alaya is ridiculous and such drama queen. Food for thought, is this show too dramatic now? I mean...really not rooting for any of these “relationships”!
To be fair, she is a pageant girl for winning Miss Louisiana 2019 so we don’t really know how long she has been doing pageants. Websites from 2018 have little bios for her pageantry stuff and they talk about her living in a homeless shelter for a point in time. At a young age that would be super impactful to the point I don’t think it odd to be brought up so much. Now could it also have been less of a big deal and she is playing it up for sympathy in both pageants and on camera? Definitely could but I don’t think that’s a fair assumption to make.
I do also just want her and everyone involved in the drama to go home though. They are being so immature and there’s a lot of insecurities that if any of them make it to the end I feel they’re the type to bring up the drama later when there’s an argument down the line.
Stacy Quinlan while I’m certainly not a VP fan after this week, I don’t think it’s fair to question her childhood trauma. She’s 27 now so she may have started doing pageants at a later age. She graduated from college in 2014 so that’s a good amount of time working and making her own money. So, while she may have lied about her background, the cost of pageants does not prove or disprove her story.

Peter is spending 98% of his time trying to Law and Order the truth out of the many sources of drama. The other ladies should just enjoy their luxurious vacation to Cleveland and look forward to being on Paradise, where maybe a single guy will want to speak to them about their own lives instead of who is a liar or champagne thief.

I think they where right to be angry, peter sort of caused the pot to occur himself. He shouldn’t of given Alayah the group rose and waited til the ceremony instead. He sort of got what was coming.
The tension rose already from the tie, so imagine him not giving the girls there actual time and on top of it gave the group rose to the person not on the date. Peter needs to have boundaries. He is doing what Hannah was doing, constantly compromising everyone’s time for drama. It’s only week 3.

Probably the first time I’ve ever disagreed with Lauren, because I HATED this episode! The stupid drama and Peter’s reaction to it is painful to watch. At least Madison has managed to stay out of it, so there’s still hope!

So my thoughts were: Victoria F- she wants to go home, says so repeatedly, screams no constantly and only fesses up when backed into comer. Verdict: Send her home. Victoria P: liar liar pants on fire. Verdict: Send her home. But also why did she lie? So weird. Alayah: not a liar or manipulator but yes fake and I feel just there for the ‘gram. Verdict: Bye Felicia! McKenna: relax girl. Verdict: you’ll be home soon. Peter: stop being so nice and clearly affected by the outcome of Hannah B’s season. Verdict: stop being too nice and letting yourself be manipulated.
I should have said for Peter’s verdict: doomed unless he makes better decisions. Also for Chase Rice: I think he knew there was a chance it could be her on the date, his body language revealed he was very uncomfortable though and jealous. Verdict: not over her.

They were right to be angry. Peter was such a weakling to give Alayah a rose. It was hilarious to see the ladies not play the game OR PRETEND to be OK. I watch for the mess and they are all serving it. Keep being indecisive Peter and swayed by the last person who talked to you...its making great TV.

Agree or disagree. I am annoyed and disappointed with this season. The ladies are very immature, a little unstable, selfish and dare I say it, not that interesting. Not one of these ladies has impressed me, too much drama, insecurities. I liked Victoria P until this week and couldn’t stand Kelsey at first but she really impressed me with her response about Alaya coming back.
Yeah Alaya mentioned to some of the ladies about Victoria F and Chase Rice, even if she just told one person it wasn’t her place to say anything to anyone and Victoria had every right to be upset. I think Alaya knew exactly what she was doing which is stir the pot.
I think the ladies are right to be annoyed and I am proud of them for confronting Peter and telling him how they feel.

Peter had a right to feel weird that Victoria F just danced and made out with him in front of her ex. Victoria should have just stopped, pulled him aside, and told him what was going on as soon as they arrived
The girls have right to be frustrated that this girl who’s been a block for them getting time together is back. But Peter can do whatever he wants, if he feels he made a mistake he should explore those unresolved feelings
I’m worried for McKenna. She keeps freaking out

Is it Sydney who said to Alayah, your only here for the show.....Peter is "the show" the show is called the bachelor and Peter is the bachelor!! basic knowledge ladies! and whats the big deal with Victoria "dating" Chase and then Alayah telling a couple of girls about it, its harmless gossip, she doesn't like him anymore....everybody moves on!! and im pretty if one of those girls was eliminated last week and came back this week, they would've said Vic and Chase hooked up!!

Alayah knew what she was doing when she gossiped about Victoria's past relationship. Alayah: "Oh my god did you know she dated (that singer)" The girls: "Oh my god no? what?" Alayah: "Oh my god, lemme tell u all about it" ----------- Alayah: "No one knew? I thought everyone knew. its all over the internet right now" Victoriay: "NONE OF US HAVE PHONES." Victoria was spitting facts. And the girls in the house had a point. The girls on the group date shouldve had a chance at the rose.. And Alayah just snatched it

the biggest thing that frustrates me about this show and it’s drama is how much it takes away from genuine “contestants” and special moments that are replaced by petty bs. i wish the real conversations and cute moments and the actual positive time people spend with peter was at the forefront.

I agree. But not because Peter wants to give Alayah another chance. The women have a right to be mad because the cocktail parties revolve around Peter only talking to Alayah or Victoria trying to get to the "truth" and dont seem to be getting any time with Peter. For the 3rd time now.
