Alice In Chains was so somber, Nirvana seemed like it had this tension ready to burst as Kurt just kept so chill between songs, Pearl Jam here just so electric and inviting - incredible how amazing these unplugged performances are. They should really bring the format back, love to see Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys, just various bands using nothing more than acoustics and a drumset and killer vocals.
I mean, NPR tiny desk kind does that to some more indie bands and pop-culture ones, tho. I find these bands that goes full unplugged sometimes really amazing, they surely know their craft for music, it's awesome. But yeah, I miss MTV Unplugged as well, lol.

I stopped into the Nitelite downtown Seattle for a beer after work. The bar was empty except for a group of guys in the corner. I was at the bar and Eddie Vedder came up and asked me if I wanted to eat with them. It was Pearl Jam right before they hit it big. Their rehearsal space was close to where I worked. They were some of the most genuine and truly nicest guys I've ever met. It was an honor!

In my early 20s, living in the Haight in San Francisco when this unplugged aired. In the heart of an incredible musical renaissance. My life has been rough but it's also been magical Those of you that are young, hold your youth in a strangle hold and never let go.
I was 15 when this came out. Music was a channel for teenage angst and problems both small and large. Music encouraged introspection and not validation via social media. So pleased and lucky to have been young then and not now. These guys rock and are the soundtrack to my youth. Just awesome.

I was a 90's teen and my entire family is a bunch of PJ fans. Every holiday, every early morning rise for vacation travel, etc , my daddy woke us up to Pearl Jam. We watch Pearl Jam Unplugged every Christmas morning while we eat and open gifts. I love my life. ❤

Eddie timed picking up the mic stand, including folding it up all perfectly in sync, to hit the cymbals at the right moment for a creatively dramatic ending. Loved it.
Glad I grew up in the era I did. Stole this album off my older sister. I was 13. Fortunate that she was tuned in to this, she was 15. Rode our bikes for miles, did shit that kids now wouldn't think was fun. Stole many albums off my sister, listened to them when she wasn't. Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Mudhoney, The Melvins just to name a few. Pearl Jam still strike the same chord it did back then. Ten is still my favourite road trip album of all time. In Australia a road trip is about 3 days solid driving. I put a 6 stacker CD player in my Holden Gemini, and Ten never left the rotation. I miss that car lol.

I was a 90's teen and my entire family is a bunch of PJ fans. Every holiday, every early morning rise for vacation travel, etc , my daddy woke us up to Pearl Jam. We watch Pearl Jam Unplugged every Christmas morning while we eat and open gifts. I love my life. ❤

Glad I grew up in the era I did. Stole this album off my older sister. I was 13. Fortunate that she was tuned in to this, she was 15. Rode our bikes for miles, did shit that kids now wouldn't think was fun. Stole many albums off my sister, listened to them when she wasn't. Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Mudhoney, The Melvins just to name a few. Pearl Jam still strike the same chord it did back then. Ten is still my favourite road trip album of all time. In Australia a road trip is about 3 days solid driving. I put a 6 stacker CD player in my Holden Gemini, and Ten never left the rotation. I miss that car lol.
