I’ve thought the same forever. He is the best in his genre and out of the mtv performances.
Let’s all stay alive listening to this masterpiece!! Pearl Jam rocks!!!
Everyone of them are brilliant musicians, listening very closely to each of them. They come together to compliment each other, just brilliant.
And it's great LIVE because they do that
I’m about to be 58. Didn’t listen to this back then but now I’m hooked. Can’t remember how I got here 😮
the drummer is super underrated
How he can be underrated when he is part of Pearl Jam
@@drazenstefanovic8843 he's the best thing there is after Eddie
100% underrated.
What is his name?
@@samtheman123 Dave Abbruzzese
It's literally taking all of Eddies willpower to not get up and climb around
Unplugged never gets old
This still resonates with me and I’m 63 years old! Such a dynamic and angsty sound…
59 Listening from the start
90s music was great
I hear ya!! I totally agree 😊🤘✌️
😢😮 My goodness, the angst displayed here and the rage and anger in Eddie's voice here is remarkable... Outstanding performance here. They delivered and all of us can take notes, at least in my personal opinion!! God bless these fellas. ❤😮😢
I'm gonna keep playing Pearl Jam in our household til my kids get familiar with them and their music. Pure talent. 🥰
Simply, 😊 The drummer is amazing
You can tell Eddie sings from the depths of his soul, truly amazing 👍👍
All the great bands hold up through time. Pearl Jam is exactly that. A great band.
When MTV was Great!!
One of the greatest vocals in the history of music..period.!
Eddie the grunge legend.
And this was 30 years ago! ❤
Eddie the best!!!❤️
He still has a wonderful voice! I'd like to go to a pj concert before i die...😢
They don't come here,in my good isle...
The only Grunge vocalist still alive. As he’s going to be 60 in December
Oh how I would have loved to have been at this performance. Awesomeness!!!
missmya3972 Me too!!

No shit! When was this released? 1992?
32yrs ago, feels like yesterday.
Anyone else noticed how on point the drummer was ? Feels great.
One of the greatest live performances ever.
Absolutely
Why grunge singers always sing better than other artists genres. Look How amazing are Eddie Vedder, Kurt Cobain and Chris Cornell, they sound amazing live
And we hope Eddie sticks around for a long, long while...
You forgot Layne Staley, the Big 4 of Grunge.
Poppa Sweets lmao stfu he was the best of the lot.
oh! so.. Freddie Mercury sang grunge too? :P
Heaps of musicians are great vocally live.
Top acoustic guitar solos of all time, shreddddding
This song came out shortly after my husband passed away from leukemia. When I heard "I'm still alive", I felt that he was. It gave me comfort and hope.
Sweet Darling I send you love, Joanne, from my heart to your Heart
@@saffronskies333 Thank you so much. It was rough. The grunge era really helped. It helped me so much, strange as it may sound. Peace to you.
Yes that part!
what's more *ICONIC* Eddie's hair or his voice...damn i love this song
Alive is the epytony of 90s grunge. Eddie is the original voice of grunge. Epic performance!!
This is my favourite unplugged. Eddie's voice is on top form. Love it x
this song has such a different meaning now, with so many of the greats now passed one. he's still alive, he's still standing. he's still kicking ass.
I was never a Pearl Jam fan till I heard this while driving my friends Ferrari at 160 mph on Rt 9 in Rhinebeck NY banging through the paddle shift gears. A lifetime memory
Life flowing from words&music with no barriers and no amenities
I Love Dave's Drumming!
He's basically a singing lion
My mom still idolizing Eddie until now and introducing them since I was kid and I love them too. She always said Pearl Jam is the best part of her youth days.
@frederickfiliph3798 - I took my teens to see Pearl Jam Live way back in '94, '95, '96- & onward- I've continued to see them Live throughout the years -to where my granddaughter's been my +1 in 2021, and '22 for a handful of their shows. She's 23 & loves it. And that makes me "... the longest song title in the Pearl Jam catalogue..."elderly (person), behind the counter, in a small town" - and your mom has good taste - eddie vedder in any weather...
Gods creation ♥️ every time IS this 5minutes....one of the best ...music performancie i ever Seen..group od talented people...present moment absolutely Full of love to music...thank U....for your beeing
