Robert Ryanson I didn’t say it was jeremys story. “But nice try” I just said the parents almost filed a lawsuit. Which pearl jam got out of it by stating it was inspired by a true story. “But nice try though” the original lawsuit would have been for misinformation. Stating that he depicted jeremys parents as not carrying about him.

The 90s was such a magical time for music. These bands, just like any other, get lumped into this categorical label of “grunge” and it just discounts how fucking great they truly were. It’s sad how few of the singers of this era of bands are still alive today. Experiencing this music as a youngster is something I’ll be forever grateful for.

    [Verse 1]
At home drawin' pictures of mountain tops
With him on top, lemon yellow sun
    Arms raised in a "V"
And the dead lay in pools of maroon below
    [Pre-Chorus]
    Daddy didn't give attention
Oh, to the fact that mommy didn't care
    King Jeremy the wicked
    Oh, ruled his world
    [Chorus]
    Jeremy spoke in class today
    Jeremy spoke in class today
    [Verse 2]
Clearly, I remember picking on the boy
    Seemed a harmless little fuck
Ooh, but we unleashed a lion
Gnashed his teeth and bit the recess lady's breast
How could I forget? And he hit me with a surprise left
My jaw left hurting, ooh, dropped wide open
Just like the day, oh, like the day I heard
    [Pre-Chorus]
    Daddy didn't give affection, no
And the boy was something that mommy wouldn't wear
    King Jeremy the wicked
    Oh, ruled his world
    [Chorus]
    Jeremy spoke in class today
    Jeremy spoke in class today
    Jeremy spoke in class today
    [Bridge]
Try to forget this (Try to forget this)
Try to erase this (Try to erase this)
    From the blackboard
    [Chorus]
    Jeremy spoke in class today
    Jeremy spoke in class today
    Jeremy spoke in, spoke in
    Jeremy spoke in, spoke in
    Jeremy spoke in class today
    [Outro]
    (Spoke in, spoke in)
(Spoke in, spoke in, spoke in, spoke in...)
    (Spoke in, spoke in)
Ooh oh, oh, oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh

Not just a bomb performance but the way he sends out those powerful vocals. I would have the chills if I sat in the audiance that day.

No exaggeration...but this could be the best performance of all time. Right up there w/ Alive and Even Flow.

Those two live performances, Alive in that small venue, and Even Flow where he's climbing all over were seriously damn good live performances

@@J.D.Hardesty this was a great performance! my favorite live performance is RHCP live at slane castle. every song was out of this world and John Frusciante's backup vocals were amazing
