Well, Eddie was the healthiest among all of them. While other singers were into tons of drugs, Eddie was just working out. I'm pretty sure he wasn't even into alcohol yet

Mccready was great in this track but was at his best 100% in mad season so was layne. Dont get me wrong pearl jam and alice in chains are great but those two played better together away from them.
I used to love doing that too. My drummer and I had a great rapport cuz our singer was way uptight and tended to suck the life out of our performances with his controlling ways.
This is true art. These musicians put their heart and soul into it. The music nowadays is garbage and total trash. Musicians back in those days had passion, fire, heart, soul and was a lot more real. This is true talent

I was 10 when this Unplugged came out. I was raised in a strict religious conservative household surrounded by ignorance and misogyny. Seeing Eddie write “PRO CHOICE” on his arm, on the biggest music show on tv at the time, when he could’ve written literally anything else, changed my life as a female. I have children that are nearly grown now, but I have never stopped fighting for women’s right to control their own bodies. Thank you Eddie, you may not know how much of an impact you had with that one little act, but it meant a lot to a lot of girls/women.

I think EV is one of the greatest front men of all time. The charisma, power, focus, commitment, intensity, emotion and storytelling are utterly compelling. Amazing performance.
