Trying something different this week! But...I think the music is too loud. Will make sure this is improved in the next video!
would love to see if you can do a video about redesigng windows xp in 2024 or something similar
Many thanks Marc, those 5 UI design insights were really useful and precious to keep while designing an effective and valuable product.
Glad you enjoyed!!
Really cool video, these tips could also work on YT shorts as bite-sized pieces of advice.
Also like the coverage of resources and thought processes that may not usually be covered in depth in a redesign vid.
Oooh, could definitely package some of these as shorts. Appreciate the kind words 🙏
I woke up this a.m. to discover TH-cam has changed the format back to comments on the side/HUGE video thumbnails below the video. I was so sure it was just an experiment and I wouldn't have to deal with it again, and now this. I don't even know if anyone else is having this. It just happened. So I have to guess this is permanent, and I'll be struggling with format from this time forward. I know this is off-topic, but there's no one else I can ask about it.
Hey man - sorry to hear it. I'm sure they're going to roll it out to everyone eventually, you're just in a cohort of people that's getting targeted first. :/
I have no idea why they're doing this, and don't have a means of turning it off for anyone
Awesome video man. Keep up the great content!
Thank you JD 🙏
Amazing video as always, I'm an aspiring web designer and I've been watching your videos for months now and they really helped me. I wanted to share with you some of my design, is there any way I can share them with you?
Hey thanks for the feedback! There should be an email on the channel somewhere if you look around 👍
I want more videos like this
Oh wow, really? I figured you guys would exclusively like the redesigns. What sort of stuff would you like to see?
@@DemystifyingDesign like all basics of ui design and how to convert bad design into good design and all stuff in detail like a whole video on typography
@@hit_bheda7 Those are some really good ideas. Thank you!
What do you mean 160 views? Huh? I thought this video was a very popular well established video... Whoops
Good thing the algorithm found you 😎
But why can't we be inventive? Why do we have to copy? If we think we can solve a problem better, what's wrong with trying to improve on a solution with faults rather than just copy it?
There's nothing inherently wrong with doing that. It just takes much more time to do and doesn't necessarily result in a usability or brand feel improvements. For your own projects this is fine...but when someone's paying you you usually by the hour to do design work, it's inappropriate
My whole attention throughout the video was on your forehead. 😁😁
Lmao what??
