I absolutely love my 1100. My first bike
Good choice!
Had four bikes in two years and just got a dct think this one is a keeper
Sounds like you change bikes almost as often as me :). Glad to hear your enjoying your DCT model though. Ride safe.
A wonderfull and smooth bike to ride, that gives me a constant 😊, enjoy life with the Rebel1100 and stay safe😎🍀🇳🇱
Thanks for the comment Peter, the rebel is not our personal bike but a demo bike from a dealership. Ride safe.
Think it's 4 k cheaper than the new sportster bargain
Evwryone loves the honda 1100, good
a solid reliable engine from Honda yet again :)
Are these bikes pretty popular in the U.K.? I wondered, culturally, how prevalent Hondas are compared to Harley-Davidson overseas. I may buy an 1100 Rebel in the Spring.
Hay Alex, there’s probably more of these than Harley’s in the UK. Harley doesn’t seem to do too well over here. High prices and roads that aren’t suited to their style of riding might be partly to blame. 🤙
@@DSR1YT sounds very reasonable. Be safe.
I think Honda was very smart to out the cruise control on the right. It's so convenient and practical just to reach over and push the button. You don't even have to look at it.
I still prefer it on the left hand side. Still practical and don’t need to look if it was to the left. But if you can get on with it on the right then I applaud you. Most people can’t. Ride safe.
It would be better on the left, the right hand is more critical. Use comon sense.
7:27 - 9:10 Thank you for this information. You just gave me what I need to rule out this bike. Pegs scraping the ground and uncomfortable seat height (bad back) are a big NO for me. I had to make a decision between the Rebel 100 DCT vs NC750X DCT. I think I will go with the latter.
You won't be disappointed wit the NC750x. Enjoy which ever bike you decide on.
I'm getting one next year no doubt....first thing I'm changing is that ugly exhaust
Enjoy your new ride when you get it. Ride Safe.
I got my 1100/manual about a month ago and agree I'll be changing the exhaust as soon as I can... Still checking out the options... If you don't have yours yet I think you'll really enjoy it when you do... Stay Safe..
How tall are you ? The low seat could be a problem for me.
Hay, I’m 6’1”. Hope that helps.
@@DSR1YT thanks for getting back to me.
Too much talk about electronics. Exiting out.
