Love this!!!! What a great way to set those healthy boundaries and standards. I've only just recently learned this too so it's such a relief when you can wish them well from afar and pay attention before it gets too serious.
This is what hurt does which is also why healing is so paramount. Whether you're male or female, when you get emotionally manipulated, you start closing off your heart and ignoring your feelings. Women like this tend to hop relationship from relationship but never find happiness without chaos. Men like this tend to stay single because of the societal expectation for them to make the first move which they never act on. I was that guy for years and I also watched several women I knew go down "the wrong" path in this regard including a few of the ladies who hurt me. Like Stephan said in the video, people like this just aren't ready to have healthy relationships. The uncomfortable truth is that some of us are handed more emotional trauma than others but what's also very positive about it all is that there's so much growth potential in the healing process if you have the strength to walk down that road. As a guy, I often tell my male friends who are struggling emotionally: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger... and what almost kills you? That my friend, makes you an absolute beast."
Last one left me BECAUSE He was opening up to me. He admitted that was why, that opening up scared him. I held him and he told me things and cried. I was accepting. I was supportive. I was gentle and compassionate and loving. I didn't throw it back at him later. And I was still fucking abandoned.

I get it, although, to be completely honest, some men, when younger(35 and younger)marry for consistent/convenient s*x, relationship second. Women marry for it all. Men who have an issue with intimacy from their wives, aren’t putting in the daily effort to help, because if he did, it wouldn’t be an issue, as they’d both be exhausted but eagerly await each other. These men, after many years of marriage become increasingly angry, due to their immense selfishness, and entitlement as a “ husband”, with “needs”, but only “ help”, in order to get their needs met. The marriage breaks down, due to HIS lack of interest in anything but THAT, so no she isn’t interested now that its clear to her. Fast forward 20-30yr. His libido, by nature is not where it used to be and he’s panicking and wants to desperately get to know his wife/kids for the first time in their lives, and guess what? No one’s interested. It’s over!
I had a friend who took it upon himself to go to counseling for his own accountability in exactly the scenario of no interest until Much Later - and the great part he added to it - I'm going, and if you All (wife, kids, inlaws...) need to join in after my first few sessions - come, if you want: with me there hearing how I failed you, too ~ because it's time to turn this ship around...
Men who won’t open up have trust issues, don’t or won’t communicate, or just hasn’t learned how to communicate. If a man can and will communicate with everyone else and not me, he’s letting me know that he absolutely does not want to even leave room to get anything twisted by me. That’s fine. In marriage, both partners need to realize that their minds can’t be read and be willing to express themselves; no good respectful communication, no marriage. There is no need to try to pull a hen’s teeth. She has none. If two people won’t communicate openly and truthfully, don’t get married. Save the other person the headaches.
I find that men want me to neglect myself. And they neglect me. I’m very consistent in my life and in a relationship. I was neglected sexually. I’m very self aware and men in conversation, even before a first date, they want so much from me. Extremely needy. This one married guy got mad because I wouldn’t sleep with him. He felt rejected. I don’t sleep with married men. How are you married and still wanting a woman you barely know to fulfill your needs. I’m always doing everything you’re doing and men run or get attached. I’m too thoughtful. I’m too kind and supportive and then men run and get scared when they find themselves being open with me.

20 years of neglect not easy especially when you realize the cause of neglect was infidelity and adultery and your kids were lied to and brainwashed to think you was the cause of family destruction. This is a perfect case for God he sees and knows everything
He is resistant to have another baby because for one, he may not be financially stable or his age difference between his age bracket compared to a younger man's age bracket. Don't try to convince him to get you pregnant or give him a baby if he is not ready.
Maybe if they don’t take care of her to and she did the work that’s not a turn on . I did want to make love all the time but maybe she didn’t feel he loved her enough

I get it but how many husbands are carrying a fair share of the load at home raising the kids. Exhausted wives don’t feel sexy.
