- Cambodian and Thai troops clashed briefly Monday for a fourth straight day in the border area around the disputed 11th-century Prear Vihear temple. The latest flare-up erupted during an operation by Thai soldiers to recover casualties from Sunday's heavy fighting, Cambodian officials said. Duration: 00:50.

@Soserenity the temple is not what is being contested. it is the land that is the issue. Thailand has already conceded that the temple belongs to cambodia. The issue is the map that shows a different border to the original map based on the watershed line.

@KensaiZen - Funan was Khmer, Funan capital is in Takeo province in Cambodia. There are many scripts written about Khmer Funan. We don't keep anyone culture if we don't belonged to. Cham sailed from Arab and took over indigenous land of Kok Tlok land and they created Champa on indigenous land. Cham don't have indigenous in their history, Cham dressed well already when they took over indigenous land, but Khmer Funan were almost naked until Indians brought clothes to indigenous of Kok Tlok.

I don't know it either and i believe that it not anyone land it is a World treasure so no one should have it. And i do not judge Cambodia people at all and im thai btw.

wait a minute there Kensai, Preah Vihear was built by Khmer long before Thailand was even a country. The land belong to Cambodia by all legal rights. You should really get your history straight. Please read about the CASE CONCERNING THE TEMPLE OF PREAH VIHEAR Judgment of 15 June 1962. I'm speaking of facts here. Lets not deteriorate this issue any further.

@Soserenity building it hundreds of years ago doesn't mean you still own it in present day. There are hundreds of ancient khmer temples dotted around SEA, do they all belong to khmer? how can you claim the land because of ancient times? there were people here before the khmer empire. By your logic shouldn't the land belong to them because they were there first? You lost claim on the land by failing to defend it hundreds of years ago, it is called right of conquest. You can't cry about it now.

@nnaSekiM I am thai. And i am proud of it and i don't judge combodia people i think they are nice people i have friend who is cambodia and she didn't judge me and i think the land belong to the world. And yes we might have takes land from another country but many country have start war with us too.

King Kaudinya from India brought many beautiful clothes to her Queen Soma, that’s why every bride in Cambodia has to change a lot of clothed. We don't keep anyone culture if we don't belonged to. Siam slaves from Nanchao belonged to Khmer using Khmer numbers, Khmer alphabets and Khmer let them free so Siam became Thai means freemen Hahahaha

@TheNeco1453 I'm thai and i know that from the outer country my country might seem well really bad because there gays and women selling their body. But you don't know what they have to go through maybe they really needed that money and they might do it because they have too not that they likes it. But some people might actually likes it but it think it really depends. Thailand if you actually live there it is really hard to find job it a really crowded country.
