if you see juddering on X and Y carriage make sure to check the following
send a M503, have a look at the X - Jerk settings...If it's set at 0 (zero) change to 5
and check the Y is also 5 if these are not set at 5 do the following
M92 X80 Y80
M205 X5 Y5
M500 to save

First of all: thank you sooooo much for making all this videos and content about Anycubic Kobra Max. Anycubic should thank you to for keeping their product alive.
Let me ask you to things: 1 - are you still running this firmware?
2- If you find some time, it would be GREAT to get one video focused on extruder upgrades (direct drive, replacing fans, etc).

Hey i have been watching your videos on this printer and I’ve always wanted to be able to print nylon. The problem is this printer does not have a high enough temp setting. Is there any firmware that allows the printer to go up to 300C? With the relevant hardware changes of course.
I have kobra max upgraded with revo six and micro swiss as direct, im looking to upgrade stock firmware i see two options wabbitguy and zombie, is either better? I saw zombie has linear advance idk if it works well on it im just curious if know if one or other is better.
I had same problem with missing print had to do level again and this sort it out so try relevel
Would you be able to make this update to the new motherboard that has v3.0.4? this was a replacement motherboard that Anycubic sent me but it now has a C-port USB and comes with v3.0.4

Hello, I recently replaced my hot end. And ever since then I cannot get a layer down.
The nozzle is right on top of the bed and it is ignoring the Z offset both in the settings on the machine AND in Cura if I add the z offset there.
is there a way to get rid of the hot end noise when movin?
Updated the firmware and the printer level itself, says it's printing but the nozzle just sits at the home position and never prints. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Any recommendations for a good cura profile for the Max? I'm on my second machine after a return of the first and still struggling with layer lines. I was using the zombie max profile, the stock one, and the Cr10. Any help is much appreciated, really enjoy the videos.
Use prusa slicer, cura gave me non stop issues no matter how much tuning I would do.
I've had good results with cura. 80mms speed, 1000 acceleration, 8 jerk.
6.5mm retraction unless you're direct drive.
50mms retraction speed.
Used pronterface to adjust steps or calibrate flow and adjust in cura.
Some have the wrong thermister and the temp at nozzle is like 25 hotter
M420 S1 in start code after G28.

i am having issues where it will stop in middle of the bed leveling print you put up. Also when i go to pause and then stop it. itll resume printing
Updated the firmware and print head makes a noise now also when I print your stl the travel across side to side skips any idea why it would do this all the sudden it was printing at 100% not I am testing it at 50%
Great video, i wanted to ask if you have any profiles for cura for this printer with a 0.6 nozzle, I'm just not having any luck with my tuning, I've done the zombie firmware, done a E-step cal, PID cal. please any help is appreciated.

@@3DPUK-TECH-CHANNEL yes I follow a page specific for the kobra max's on fb, and nobody has really given me a straight answer.
@sicario_arias ah OK I haven't myself changed the nozzle size... its mainly adapted on the cura slicer under the section flow rates
I can confirm this works with Kobra Plus
I updated on my Plus and the printer will not print now. Says that it's printing but the nozzle just sits at the home position. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks for these videos. I downloaded your files for the Anycubic Kobra Max. For some reason, I cannot get rid stringing hair type. I tried other different profiles. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Stringing could be the filament itself
I've found a filament dryer helps and 40mm/s 4mm retraction
I run Retraction at 9mm on my Kobra Max and Vyper.
@Pat Coleman that's alot but let's be honest what ever suits and works is the number we use...no 1 profile is the gospel 🙌

@ 45 on my max that run a volcano, and my max with a phaetus dragonfly are set at 3mm @ 50. A simple retraction GCode generator is all you need to dial it in to perfection!

Can you visually show me the difference between 0.05mm and 0.01mm? To give you a point of reference the average hair is 0.3mm thick. Worrying about the difference between .05 and .01 on an FDM printer is nothing short of obsessive, hell worrying about this minuscule measurement on a DLP printer which has a way higher resolution tells me you have O.C.D. issues...... There again, so do I 🤣👍👍👍 . Anyway the reason why your corner remained filament free, even after your adjustments was that you were adjusting by 0.01mm, you're going to need to hit that button about 20+ more times☺
Not sure how I can visually show you 0.01 mm but it does make a difference trust me, I may ohave OCD lol 😆
I did this firmware upgrade on my kobra plus. color change is working perfect! question. any idea on the auto leveling why it changes the z offset to 0.05 when its done?
This is your nominal offset figure, mine did the same after auto level

@russej02 hey that worked for me however I have heard of needing to adjust while printing... I works suggest your first print .... slow printer down to half speed and adjust if needed, but I think it should be fine

I'm getting hotend wiring abnormal please check error now. Any work around. I want to replace the OG firmware because it blows
Normaly this is a loose connection on the nozzle board.... try reconnecting otherwise it could need a new nozzle connection board.
Hello. I installed the firmware on my kobra max and the print head is stuttering like yours in the video, it never did that on the old firmware. I have adjusted the belt and the print head and it is moving very freely and only stutters during a print and not when it is moving otherwise. I have tried turning acceleration control on and off as well as jerk control. Do you know what I can try to fix this?

Yep... if you do an M503 you'll see this line in a terminal
echo:; Advanced: B S T X Y Z E
echo: M205 B20000.00 S0.00 T0.00 X0.00 Y5.00 Z0.30 E5.00
That X is not supposed to be zero, it's supposed to be 5.
So M205 X5 should fix it.
Then M500 to save it

How do i do this on my Kobra 2 Max, it only has usb
After doing the auto-level with wabbit firmware it automatically sets the z offset to .05. Is this on purpose? I assumed it should be 0 after auto leveling.
It works out the best offset
@@3DPUK-TECH-CHANNEL Mine does the same thing but for some reason it's way too deep at .05, used to work good but now it doesn't. I really don't know what changed.

so in your video you have a levelling issue at front left
Yes I adjusted this with Zoffset change . Increase 0.01 throughout the whole bed and this helped

@@3DPUK-TECH-CHANNEL Thanks a lot for the video. This firmware is a big improvement over stock. I have one question, does the filament run out work for you with this firmware? Like if I cut the filament in the middle of a print, the sensors detects it and I get a prompt in octoprint mentioning that. However, the print doesn't pause. I have to manually send an M600 command to pause and insert new filament. Does that ring a bell at all? Thanks a lot
Do you not run zombie firmware anymore?
The 1.6 has the same features as the zombie fw
