#WeissSchwarz #Howtoplay #Mistakes Don't know how to play Weiss yet? • How to Play Weiss Schw... Want more technical information on how to play? • How to Get Better at W...
I have been planning to start playing Weiss Schwarz when I am done with exams. I have been watching your videos to get ready and was planning on playing Kaguya. Now that I see a RWBY deck coming out I am definitely playing that because that show was my childhood. It's cool to see something you love brought into a card game.
I know so many people excited for Rwby. It’s awesome that they actually worked it out a deal to bring it as an English exclusive. I can’t wait to see how they decide to use the art on the cards
I’ve been playing for a hot minute now, but I’ve definitely not fully internalized all these lessons yet. It’s great to see them in one place and laid out plainly rather than relying on my School of Hard Knocks certification 👌
Another huge tip. DON’T STACK SOUL ON YOUR CHARACTERS TO EXTREMELY HIGH VALUES! The way damage checks work In Weiss Schwarz is that you check cards equal to the soul of the character that lands the attack. Cards checked for damage DON’T go to clock until ALL CARDS ARE CHECKED! If at any point their is a Climax that is checked, damage check ends immediately and all cards checked go to the waiting room instead of the clock. Example: Opponent is at damage level 3 and 6 in the clock and you just landed an attack with a soul value of 4. First check isn’t a climax. However, due to how damage checks work, the check must continue. Second check is a Climax. At that point, damage ends and cards checked are sent to the waiting room. Game still goes on.
So I just want to say thank you for your videos. I love this game, more than any other TCG out there, and it’s so helpful having all these tips. Thank you!
Wait you are allowed to put a card from your stage into your waiting room and place a card from your hand on that place? Me and my friends always thought this isn’t allowed as that’s what we have read online, that it is only allowed to do so if a card has an effect that triggers it to switch cards
Yes, you may play a character over another during your main phase, and the character you played over goes to the waiting room! You just can't send characters to the waiting room without playing something else, though.
If you use a 500 atk character to attack a 1000 atk character. Do you still deal damage even if the opposing character is bigger? (This is in regards to tip 3 & 4)
why in the hell is yugioh included in the whole keywords bit if anything being experienced with yugioh helps you figure out how to read weiss, even if the lexicon is a bit different
Im really new. But from his tutorial vids, it seems that when you attack and get a trigger. That card goes to the stock. Other things generally say u get stock too.
I bought a couple of decks for this game as a joke for my gf. She's obsessive about anime, but is also weirded out by the waifu cringe stuff. But, now the problem is I kinda want to play it.
You are awesome. By far the best how to play I have seen. My family just picked up a couple decks and this really helped us jump right in. Thank you

Great advice. Can't wait for my wife's trial deck to arrive so we can start playing.

I just got 2 decks for the game and plan on playing next weekend
Have been guilty of all of the above. Great video!
As a yugioh player I can say this with absolute confidence that we can't read. Yugioh players don't read

You still deal damage to your opponent’s clock. However your card will lose the fight and be reversed (killed) in the process
@@mafoozela7435 thanks for clarifying!
Nice overlord flex deck
If anyone is in colorado and plays I’d be down. Just started building my deck

Maybe a lack of familiarity with YuGiOh, it’s definitely not a game with many keywords.
You are an absolute champion for what seems like a lovely game. Excellent work
I was wondering how do u add stock in weiss schwarz because idk

Great video but you’re wrong about yugioh not having walls of text

Lol Yugioh doesn’t have keywords, there is only walls of text in Yu-Gi-Oh!
6:52 did you lose to ma boi reinhard XD?
9:38 yugioh actually has even less key words than weiss, but point taken
