The ghost host sounds EXACTLY like Paul Frees, I would’ve thought they were outtakes from the original voiceover if he hadnt said the “50 years” stuff.
The current Ghost Host is Cory Burton, who has not only perfectly voice matched Paul Frees, but quite a few others, including Christopher Lee in both Star Wars and Kingdom Hearts
The classic Disneyland attractions are timeless . To think this and Pirates are half a century old is crazy.
My folks and I visited the week that Pirates opened ... There was one day we were in line and then were told that due to a "problem" it would not be opening until later in the afternoon. My Dad chatted up one of the workers and found out that one of the pirates on the bridge that the boats passed under had decided to disconnect and land in a ladies lap ... ROFLMAO

The great Paul Frees, the voice of the “Ghost Host” died back in 1986. So he must have made lots of voice recordings for future use such as the 50th anniversary of Disney’s greatest attraction (in my opinion). Either that or they found someone who does a spot-on imitation of Paul.
He doesn’t sound exactly like Paul but does a great job.

i thunk it could have been better tbh. how iconic the haunted mansion is.
1 didn't get to go to the after hours celebration but 1 was there on August 9th and was so happy to celebrate my favorite ride of all time. 1 made a video about my experience on my channel talking about my love for the ride as well as to others about their love for the mansion.

I'm glad there's a newer show celebrating the old school, that's not drowning with Jack Skellington or Oogie Boogie.
Don't get me wrong I enjoy the film The Nightmare Before Christmas.
But nothing past it like, such as all the cartoon versions and ridiculous smiling renditions that look nothing like the film.

This was great except the fact that the ride and now this show uses the Banshee wailing from Darby O'gill and The Little People.I hear it and I go back to really bad childhood memories lol. I had to turn it down a bit cause my heart started racing .

I thought they closed the one at Anaheim California. I was disappointed. I also heard they have it laying around in some warehouse. Walt Disney would never do that.
It's great that Disney is expanding but I hope they don't get trashy at the same time, because I like them as of yet and I'd hate to have to boycott them along with other social media I've banned from my life
Valerie Carlson it’s not closed so no boycotts 😂 the haunted mansion is and will stay. It does close to refurb and turn into the nightmare before Christmas overlay for the holidays . But it’s staying . And the nightmare stuff is only for the holidays

And it's not just Disney movies I'm boycotting. I am getting rid of a lot of movies and never watching them again. I feel a lot better because I'm not being swayed by the persuasions of the media. I know that I am a separate entity and that I am one with God and Christ.
I wouldn't give that up for anything. If there was a man going Godward. Meaning going towards God and the Celestial Kingdom then I'd think about it, pray about it, and if God said yes, then I'd marry that man and we'd both be going Godward to Heaven.
But I'm boycotting things of the world that are not of God that do not bring eternal happiness.
If it only brings fleeting moments of happiness, I'm out.
Plus Disney stole from me. So I have my reasons. Some Corporate Producers will do anything for the mighty dollar. Even steal others ideas and work by not having them sign a contract while working with them on their movie.
I have my reasons.
Don't get me wrong. I love Disney. But until they do right by me, I'm boycotting.

@@therealwilfreddierkes9980 That's a good choice. Have you seen the documentary "Supersize Me"? If you haven't you should. It's a real eye opener of what will happen if you eat McDonald's fast food all the time and when they ask if you want to supersize it you have to say yes. They actually had to stop the experiment early before the man doing the documentary-expeeriment died.
