Did not know what to completely expect with this event but knew a 50th anniversary of one of all time favorite attractions only comes along once in a lifetime so went for it . Absolutely incredible experience ! Yes it was a tad pricey but knew I’d have a blast and majority of the viewers would want to see it .
Pricey but YOU needed to be there to get it on tape! Awesome that you did so we can all see the happenings. Thanks, Adam
Your thee man, lol i know you had a great time.😃
Lucckkyyy!!!
I was there 2 weeks ago and where Abe Lincoln speaks. There's a nice little exibit of sketches of the Haunted Mansion and it's history.
That looked like such an awesome event!
50 years ago my dad helped build the Haunted Mansion. Wow!
Any fun stories to share?
Lol sorry Bubbles n Lipgloss, he actually said that was one of his more boring jobs. He did enjoy having lunch with the Disney animators though.
@@legkick1 then he doesn't have the heart of an imagineer.
Being a part of the haunted mansion development in Disneyland is an honor.
Very Cool!!
@@faflamingo2193 He has the heart of one of 999 haunts
I bet
That was some great park theming. And how cool to hear everyone say together, "there's always MY way..."
It was very cool
reformedfruit Yes
Disney parks better than anything universal and six flags can cough up
I remember reading that the HM long ago had a live actor dressed in the suit of armor scaring guests. It’s cool that they brought it back.
The first time since 1980s when scare actors were in the Haunted Mansion. Nice! :)
ok.
that a capella "dead man's party" was beautiful
I love how everyone said “There’s always MY way” together. True Disney fans ❤️
And of course, the fans screaming in unison after the room darkened. AAAH 😱! Lol 😂. Now I really want to visit Disneyland.
@@aleli.tir0502 Honestly same! I'm shooting to go down in 3-4 years. I wanna be able to save up enough to do it way Disney style
Kalee Johnson I would of said it too, I know THE WHOLE SCRIPT AND I MEAN THE WHOLE THING! My favorite ride is this one🥰
Whoa!!! You know it's an excellent night when Oingo Boingo is pulled out for an Anniversary!.
TOTALLY MY RESPONSE AS WELL
I didn't see Danny. What time was he and the band on the video. Its truly amazing to think of all the great music he has made over the years.
@@c7adventures376 JUST HIS MUSIC. NO PERSONAL EXP. UGGY BOOGIE ON THE BALCONY QUARTET AND THEN DEAD MANS PARTY ON THE MARK TWAIN
Sweet. I heard it but thought i missed something. He is a cool dude. Used to come by my bagel shop in Santa Barbara. Always friendly and nice. I didn't even recognize him the first time we met.
It really went all night... A truly "adult" event for Haunted Mansion... I'm glad someone filmed most of this but still really sad that I wasn't there myself... ;n;
As an LD (lighting Designer) I love what Disney does for events like these. Wish I had their budget for gigs! Good job!
Right!...and Disney's special effects period.
an-yes?
Really appreciate uploading this event, I didn’t know this happened and even I’m fan of The Haunted Mansion.
Overall This looked like one event for the *Disney* books. :)
They're asking 300 bucks a pop for this event. Absolutely ridiculous!
I remember the opening of the Haunted Mansion as a kid; who would have thought 50 years later I'd be watching this?? Pretty good job!
Must be quite the feeling
Same here!
1 didn't get to go to the after hours celebration but 1 was there on August 9th and was so happy to celebrate my favorite ride of all time. 1 made a video about my experience on my TH-cam channel talking about my love for the ride as well as to others about their love for the mansion.
Holy moly. That was totally amazing. I'm heading to MK tomorrow to ride it here, but that event was to die for. Great job capturing it for us to see. Seriously good camera angles.
Hi Dani. Im looking forward to enjoy your take on wdw
That show over the water at the beginning reminds me of the cremation of care ceremony at Bohemians Grove.
You are really disgusting using that name and avatar.
mya mikka you’re one to talk having vagina lips as your avitar. You’re lucky I don’t turn you in!
2:59 I got chills, I wish this was everynight at Disney. Also. I LOVE the singing group there. LOVE THIS!
oooh-13:54?
Seeing Disneyland all filled with creepy fog and blue lights w that audio just gives me so many feels! They did a good job w this!!
(edited bc I accidentally wrote "smog" the first time and I meant fog! Can't make that mistake in California!!
What a spectacular way to celebrate 50 years of ghoulish delights!
ron s SPOOKTACULAR
This was my favorite after dark event. I was so tired.. lol but it was so worth it!
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley about 45 minutes away from Disneyland and I have so many memories, actually 55 years of them and in August of 1969 I was 5 and was there opening day of the Mansion.
I've given those same memories to my now grown children and I'm looking so forward to seeing the Disney Magic fill the eyes of my two-year-old grandson soon.
Thank you for this great video!
That was amazing! I love the overall atmosphere with the lighting and fog. The filming from the MarkTwain was very cool.
It worked out great with the scareolers singing on deck
definitely
Oh my goodness they had live actors in the ride!!!! That knight! I'm so surprised they added him back in! WOW! SO COOL!
Looks like an awesome event!! I figured they would just have put out 50th anniversary merchandise and call it a day but the projections on Tom Sawyer Island, all the characters walking around, and the freakin knight coming to life, they really went all out. I liked the little throwbacks too, like the original sign in front of the mansion. And the free paperweight was a cool bonus too!
Best Disney afterhours event I've seen in along time! Thanks!
A once in a lifetime experience, Adam. I was visiting out here when I was 12 and went on Haunted Mansion a couple weeks after it opened. There was a rumor at the time of its opening that the ride was so scary, a man had a heart attack and they had to make the ride more fantasy-like. Snopes has disproven it.
Now THIS is how you appropriately throw an after hours party, Disney! You can tell a lot of care, thought, and passion went into it! FANTASTIC JOB! 👏👏👏
Awesome documenting of a fantastic event, Woo! The “eye” in the drink was a lychee. Also hearing an Oingo Boingo song, sung by ghouls, (Dead Men’s Party) Priceless!
Ooook.
This is amazing. The mansion looks phenomenal. Very, very exciting!!!! Thanks for sharing Mr Woo
HM is my most favorite ride of all! It’s amazing what they did to celebrate the 50th anniversary. Everything is awesome! Thanks for sharing the adventure with us.
The celebrating 50 years sign was amazing!!!
I am so jealous! Haunted Mansion is my all time favorite Disney attraction. I wish I could have been there for this event.
I have never been more jealous of the Woo than I am today !!!! ha ha ha I LOVE the Haunted Mansion !! thanks for taking us along !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My first time to the Haunted Mansion was in 1969. And it's still my favorite!
The sky in the background definitely adds a creepy vibe awesome work Adam
The Mark Twain entertainer’s costumes remind me a lot of the Addams family ancestor costumes,, love it
For me ... this Vlog was very different to Adam’s other Vlogs. I adore them ALL ...yet this one, was absolutely UNIQUE. Moreover, utterly enjoyed!! Love your work Woo!
Such a hauntingly magical time. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure.
I got to watch this during a Dark and Stormy afternoon on Ocean Springs, Mississippi. How Perfect!
They brought the knight back? That's AWESOME!! Granted, everything else about this event is awesome, but bringing back a lost character (if only for one night) is incredible.
Very cool event.
Disney should do that every year at Halloween.
Thanks for being my eyes.
I was not expecting the amount of new stuff they added for this event! Definitely planning trips now to coincide with other ride anniversaries if they have similar events
This was pretty fun - thanks for recording it, Adam! 😀
This is what Disney magic is all about right here.
Another epic journey Adam!!!!!
I have always loved the Haunted Mansion!!!!
Thanks for taking us along!!!!!
It's totally awesome, the extra's they've added!!!!
This is by far the best extra event I’ve ever seen at Disney. Including Disney World events.
Love the Oingo Boingo! Great video, Adam! Thanks for sharing and have a DYNAMITE weekend!
Ghoulishly wicked and frighteningly delightful. Wow, 50 spooktacular years already for the Haunted Mansion. It's one of my favorite Disney attractions. You're so lucky to attend such an awesome celebration. I'm glad that they returned Hattie the Hatbox Ghost. It was so cool that one of the knights in the Endless Hallway jumped out lol 😂. I wish that Disneyland won't change it back. I love the creepy ambiance, music, and ghost casts roaming around the park. I would love to try the menu (hopefully they will still be served).
This is the only way to see Disneyland. I can only imagine how expensive the tickets were but with crowds this size...totally worth it! Thanks for the video!
There is a wonderful, child-like enthusiasm that you bring to your videos. I wish I still had that.
Kudos to you.
Now that is one spook-tacular celebration😄👻 So happy to see the awesome additions to the Mansion for the event (especially the moving knight). The Haunted Mansion will always be one of the best attractions ever!
Absolutely INCREDIBLE footage, Adam. I enjoy all of your vids but this one is your crowning achievement. GREAT overhead views and crystal clear performances by the cast members. BRAVO, Adam. BRAVO!
50th anniversary well worth it. Love the special effects/ fog / colored lights/ everything.
You love the Haunted Mansion so much that this must have been like heaven for you ! Nice to see you so happy!
oh yeah?
This is, in my opinion, the coolest thing ever and I really wish I could have been there to see it. Haven't been to DL since '97 though unfortunately. Thanks for capturing the magic for all of us who weren't able to attend, Adam!
OMG! Dead Man's Party acapella! And on the Mark Twain!
loads of channeling Vincent Price! This is awesome!!👻
Technically, Paul Frees, but yes.
I have never been to Disney, not a huge fan of Disney really. But I do appreciate the Haunted Mansion, especially for what it did for Haunted Houses globally. Thank you for uploading!
Happy 50th anniversary to the Haunted Mansion!🤓👻 I have been on that ride since My Last Visit to The Disneyland Resort 2008, it is the most creepiest ride I've ever been on, But Thrilling and Fun at the same time.
Yay! 50 years of a great ride! Thanks Adam!
Jose Aguirre what it do boys ;)
I greatly appreciate you footing the bill to bring us along with you on this celebration of 50 years of 999 happy haunts! Cool event! Great work Adam. Thank you.👍🏼🤘🏼😎
Having been to Haunted Mansion several times, this made me want to go back and be a part of the festivities. You really make it easy for those of us who can't be there, to enjoy everything! Thank you so very much!
People are reciting the guide's words like people who memorized the Rocky Horror Picture Show!
Gary Dunn there’s definitely an overlap of such interests, heehee
Yes!! 💋
IKR!
This was a great vlog! Enjoyed watching this. Thanks for sharing!
this is amazing. i love all the singing and dancing going on and the cool costumes. i like how all the singers on the boat are from different time periods just like all the ghosts in the mansion's graveyard are. the ballroom dancer's costumes look like the ones in boo to you [i wonder if they're like extra ones or something] and leota's dress is gorgeous!! it's so cool to see characters like the hitchhikers and daisy the tightrope walker. and i'm so glad they brought back the live actors in the mansion too :D
Totally worth 300 dollars to me I had to work that night so I couldn't go but thank you for the upload this event was awesome
I love the way you commentate for this video , ur commentary is spot on
Adam, when you spoke at 17:04, it gave me chills because you reminded me of the narrator in "Disney's Halloween / Disney's Halloween treat," which I hold dearly in my heart from my childhood. Keep up the awesome work!
That was seriously so cool. Thank you for sharing it with us!
God I wish they would do this sort of themeing more often at night, that looks spectacular!! Seeing across the river through the fog, and everything looking ghostly!! Love it ♥
Some wonderful footage! What a fun event. Thanks for taking us along.
What a FANTASTIC video! My favorite ride of all time. Love all the unique shots and angles. What a fun event!!!
I'm a GIGANTIC fan of Adam!!! He's a big inspiration who's led me to creating my own content on TH-cam! His style and way with words are so easy to watch! Thanks!
Thanks for taking us on this awesome trip with you Adam!
Anybody else think Disney should host two Halloween events with the child-centric Halloween party at DCA and the (bit) more mature party at Disneyland? The theming here proves they got what it takes.
Such an awesome video. I was a teenager when the Haunted Mansion opened. So many great memories. Thanks so much for posting this video, it was amazing.
They sang Oingo Boingo, nice!
Thee best ride in
Disney Parks...just my personal fav! I WISH THEY WOULD DO MORE SPOOKY RIDES LIKE THIS AND NOT BE SCARED TO SCARE OFF FAMILIES!!! LOOK HOW WELL THIS RIDE HAS DONE!
Yes Adam thank you for taking use with you. That was a cool spooky night out on New Orleans Square. I really enjoyed the Quartet up on the balcony love the sound of that type of music. Well once again. Thank You.
Awesome job as our ghost host. Really good shots of all the special activities.
I really hope they do this in FL for the 50th. That's my favorite ride. To hear a ghost host outside the confines of the mansion was amazing and I'm just watching a video. I can't imagine how cool that was in person.
Great ride. We like it best when Jack is home but its good alwsys. Its always nice to see the park after hours. The first 24 hour event was crazy. Thanks for sharing as always. Next best thing for those of us not able to make it to DLR for the event.
8:01 NOTHING PLEASES ME MORE THAN TO SEE CMS GETTING TO LAWFULLY MESS AROUND WITH A RIDE, ESPECIALLY MY FAVORITE RIDE. :,D This guy is hilarious here!
OMG, The Knight, Dinner Party Guest and Hitchhiking Ghost!! SO COOL!!!
Right?!
Wicked Cool! Thank you for taking us along!
This is why I Love Disney! No detail left untouched. Even Oingo Boingo!
That was amazing! Thank you for sharing it! It's great to see superfans get together for an event like that. Great theming everywhere!
thank you so much Adam, that looked like so much fun i love disneyland.i would really love to go one day
From totally terrifying as a kid, to beloved as an adult- happy 50 years Haunted Mansion, and here's to another 50.
I personally enjoy your theme park vlogs, especially Disneyland. Seriously, thank you for sharing these trip videos with someone who can’t make it to Disneyland as often, due to illness. You rock, sir!
This looked amazing, wish I could have gone, maybe 50 more years and I'll show up.
Man this made me wish I was here for this event. I would have stayed up all night looking around and enjoying the activities. I would have loved to have dance with the ghosts as well. Damn I’m sad I missed this but thank you for posting. Everything was beautiful. Walt would have actually been proud.
Really enjoyed this video! Great shots of all the different different activities going on in the park. Thanks bunches, Adam.
I really hate that I missed this. Also I love your channel Adam !!! Happy birthday to the haunted mansion 🏚💀👻 !!!!
Wow that was awesome. Really wish I would have gone. The smoke coming over the water made it extra creepy. Really nice effects and make up here.
Disneyland's Haunted Mansion opened the same day as the Manson murders. August 9th 1969.
Tuesday, August 12, 1969.
Press sneak peek, August 11, 1969.
ok, that IS creepy
@@caspermilquetoast411...technically, Mark Choma is correct; the first members of the public (a limited number) to see the attraction experienced it on August 9th.
Awesome.
Thank you Adam, for a fantastic Haunted Mansion 50th video! The first time I visited the Haunted Mansion I was 12 years old. I'm 53 now and it's still going strong!
Wow! The park really went all-out on this one! Truly spectacular and thanks for the coverage. They should have created a Disney video of all of this and it would help sell tickets for future events since some in the past have been less-than-worth-the-price but THIS was over the top perfect from what you showed. Superb! Thanks!
Thanks Adam The Woo ... this is something I wish I could have joined but it's amazing to see it through the eyes of the woo !!!!
This was EXCELLENT Adam 👍🏼🎉
Thank you 💋
Thank God you have an AWESOME camera!! You’re able to zoom in really close so we can see all the action 🎬
Great mic 🎙 too 🥇
Anyway, thanks much for this Haunted Mansion 50yr Anniversary post 🕷🕸
Such fun 🧖🏼♀️!!
So cool to see! Thanks Adam for taking us with you!
