Front fender got pushed back so the door won’t be open correctly. Just saw another video where the door alignment tool is bad for the car because it bends the hinges. Doesn’t show the front fender so this video is probably just click bait.

Once a friend realligned my door by lifting the top of the (open window) door with pushing his shoulder... That technique gave a whole other problem to my door... 😢

Door was open it caught somthing backing up this once happened to me as a teenager door wouldn’t close or open My dad being and old school body guy take a deep well impact socket opened the door and placed it on the inside doorhinge and closed the door slightly opened it up and did the other hinge and went back and fourth on them a few times that door closed and opened perfect it litterally took my dad 5 mins todo I was pretty impressed as the 16 year old know it all lmao 🤣

Tbh I wouldn’t let me teenage kid near that car - how horrible would you feel if that door was the reason between life or death. Understand budgets etc, but some things are not replaceable at any cost .. a child is one of them.

when they bend like that a piece of wood between the door hinge and pillar with a genle push to close the door also realigns the hinge for the closing

I work as an automotive salvage, mechanic, and a lot of times this happens because people rip their doors open too hard or the door sagging too much. If the door didn’t line properly, you should’ve started by loosening the hinges and trying line it back up. You probably could’ve done that honestly less than five minutes and had it done better.

I don’t get why dents bother people so much. Functionality with any car over like 3 years old is all that matters. First 3 years enjoy the shine, after that it’s not worth it.
