Good video. Tempted to buy these
Go for it. They have a pro version too which you can cut and re-join if there are any obstructions.
question, it looks like you installed the lights on the outer trim, but when you show it installed, its on the inter part of the soffit. Why did you choose to move it?
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who had that question
Yup, dude, is a POS for not saying anything about it. You want to have them 2 - 4 inch from the wall to get the best effect for light wall wash.
Installation recommends closer to the wall for the down lighting effect. Odds are good he wasn't getting good lighting on the house and actually read the instructions when he realized it looked terrible.
@beaver - a little harsh don't you think, loser.
lol youtube is so funny, so many critics. Instructions recommend 3-5 inches away. The person in the video has vinyl siding soffit vents with aluminum trim fascia wrap from the looks of it. The trim wraps down typically 2 inches and holds the vinyl in place. Now here is where critics are clueless, putting the pucks on the vinyl portion would cause the wire to be loose and screw them in is useless since the vinyl is thin (he tucked in the cable into the back j-channel) which doesn't look great imo. So you either put it on the inside and tuck or the outside of the aluminum which is stable unlike the center. You can put them further out, it will just give you a bit of a shadow.
Did you use all three strands for your porch? And how long is each strand?..thank you
Yes, 50ft packaging comes with 3 strands and we used all 3
You should do level above also!!
We live in a townhouse and the roof is shared so level above is not possible for us.
How did you get just all warm white lights? Mine isn’t that color😢
You can set a DIY color in the app.
