Вчера только в очередной раз голову ломала над этим пунктом )) У нас как раз дитё пока НЕ в США, и раньше вроде в форме было прямое указание в форме, что нужно считать только тех детей, которые уже живут под одной крышей или тех, кто будет иммигрировать в течение 6 месяцев, но сейчас это указание и формы исчезло. В инструкциях тоже ничего не сказано. Зато, нашла такое пояснение в комментариях к данной форме на сайте USCIS. В общем, без бутылки не разберёшься!)))

The petitioner is 80 years old and retired since June 2009. Now his only income is from SSI and he hasn’t file any tax returns since 2013 as his income threshold is below taxable income. His spouse is also having SSI benefits aged around 70. The petitioner has a step son aged 45 also having SSI due to disability and living in the same house. We have a joint sponsor for our case. And now I am a joint sponsor for my friend whom she sponsor her parents. So, on the household section, they ask me about number of spouse and kid, I put one each. But on the #6 they ask me who I sponsored and just become a lawful permanent resident. And those are my wife and kid, so should I put two again? Then my household size will be increase. Thank you Kseniya. A qeustion: my son was born during the time I was petitioning for my wife and his is a U.S. citizen by birthright. He currently is abroad with his mom. So do I include him cause as a U.S. citizen he is not needing a sponsor

My wife, a us citizen is about to file i-130 but she's self-employed and her income does not meet the poverty income guideline (we are both living outside the US). So, We will have her sister-in-law who is married to her brother (so there are 2 person in her household). My questions are: -Does my wiffe still need to file i-864? eventhough her income does not meet the requirement? -And for her sister-in-law, will she be the only joint-sponsor or the only one who fills i-864 form? she makes way more than the poverty-guidline income. -She is married to my wife's brother who is her only household member. Does having her husband file i-864a help us avoid the officer asking for more evidence? we would like to speed the process asap because i have plan to do my master's degree in the US. Thank you :)

I am a disabled veteran and I get about $2200 a month in disability compensation. So I get about $24000 in a year non taxable. My assets are worth around $960,000. I live with my parents. I see that i only need $22,887 according to federal poverty guidelines to sponsor my wife for the household size of 2. Do you think I have enough to sponsor my wife? Or should I go with household member sponsor with my parent to easily cross the income requirement? What do you think I should do since I barely cross the income threshold if I were the only sponsor?

So on your aunt’s affidavit of support she’ll have a household size: herself, intending immigrant, plus the petitioner under item 5 - any other dependents. Not item 4 (dependent children).

And now I am a joint sponsor for my friend whom she sponsor her parents. So, on the household section, they ask me about number of spouse and kid, I put one each. But on the #6 they ask me who I sponsored and just become a lawful permanent resident. And those are my wife and kid, so should I put two again? Then my household size will be increase. I submitted form I-864a when my wife petitioned her mom (who is now here in the US as lawful resident). Hi Kseniya, if the petitioner sponsor has divorced and has children under 18 but children are living with ex-wife and are not on sponsor's tax return, does the sponsor count these 2 children?

It says to count all children under 21 even if you do not have custody of them

My wife, a us citizen is about to file i-130 but she's self-employed and her income does not meet the poverty income guideline (we are both living outside the US).
So, We will have her sister-in-law who is married to her brother (so there are 2 person in her household).
My questions are:
-Does my wiffe still need to file i-864? eventhough her income does not meet the requirement?
-And for her sister-in-law, will she be the only joint-sponsor or the only one who fills i-864 form?
she makes way more than the poverty-guidline income.
-She is married to my wife's brother who is her only household member. Does having her husband file i-864a help us avoid the officer asking for more evidence? we would like to speed the process asap because i have plan to do my master's degree in the US.

I have a question regarding the affidavit of support. I am a US citizen currently waiting for I-130 to get approved for my wife. I am a disabled veteran and I get about $2200 a month in disability compensation. So I get about $24000 in a year non taxable. My assets are worth around $960,000. I live with my parents. I see that i only need $22,887 according to federal poverty guidelines to sponsor my wife for the household size of 2. Do you think I have enough to sponsor my wife? Or should I go with household member sponsor with my parent to easily cross the income requirement? What do you think I should do since I barely cross the income threshold if I were the only sponsor?

So on your aunt’s affidavit of support she’ll have a household size: herself, intending immigrant, plus the petitioner under item 5 - any other dependents. Not item 4 (dependent children).

But for mine, on Part 5, I fill out 1 & 2 for my Wife/Principal Immigrant and Myself/Petitioner, I have no children or dependents, which shows a total Household Size of 2. So her I-864 form will show a Household Size of 3 and mine will show a Household Size of 2, is this correct?

(I am trying to be a sponsor for my new wife, and she has no previous kids). - Our last i-864 form seemed to get rejected because I don't make enough money. But if I can put zero for the section above, we would be ok. (again, I pay child support, which obviously lowers my income).

Even if you have different affidavits you still have to count each other on each form
