  • Dr. Rowe shows how to quickly fix knee popping, clicking, and cracking sounds.
This exercise will focus on lengthening tight muscles and tendons that may be causing a noisy knee. It's especially good for osteoarthritis (wear and tear arthritis) of the knee.
It can be done at home, requires no equipment, and may also give knee pain relief... even within seconds.
Let us know how it works for you!

I cannot believe it. I had a bicycle crash in 2014 and since then my knee was popping. It somehow took a little break a few years ago but it was worse once it came like a year ago. Since then I was so freaked out every time I had to take the stairs. I saw this instruction and just went for it. and I cannot believe it actually worked. It popped one last time while I turned my foot inside and straightened it. Immediate relief, sketchy feeling at first but it felt so good once I put my foot on the ground. Took the stairs directly after it and it was all gone. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wait what the hell no way. My left knee started popping very frequently about a year ago. Whenever I would bend my knee and hold it for a while there would always be a pretty painful pop whenever I straightened my leg. I did 15 reps of this multiple times for 1 day and it's GONE. It doesn't pop at all anymore. Man I don't even know how to thank you
Will continue to do this as often as I can.

Sounds like what happens to me after a torn meniscus. Now and again the tibia/foot rotates out while I'm in a compromised bent knee position.. I hear a little pop or crack and suddenly I can't straighten my leg. I have had to put a balled up shirt behind my knee and try to reverse the process. Sometimes it can take over an hour to pop back in to place. What a pain.

Played sports my whole life, baseball all the way through college and tore both ACLs along the way. I’m 32 now and have had surgeries and many knee issues. Gave this a go when my left knee randomly popped in February while out on a run. It’s end of May now, and I’m still having pain, swelling, and tightness in the MCL/meniscus region. Went to PT etc. nothing helped. Gave this a go and instantly my pain was reduced. Absolutely incredible and I can’t thank you enough for the time you took to make this video. Going to make sure I do this in the am, before I run, and after I run. Thank you, God bless!

    • @verteup

You are headed for joint replacements (hip, knee) if you continue to run. Unless you can run on loose sand. Your body has only so many repetitions in it's lifespan. I know many former marathon runners with hip and knee replacements. You need to start cycling instead. Well you needed to do that long ago but still yet it applies.

I’ve felt I needed to strengthen my knees, as one job I have I climb stairs a lot, and fall through winter that job is hardly available, so my knees don’t get the workout weekly they get used to for 6 months.

I NEED TO DO THIS ASAP. My knees don't hurt but my left knee makes an annoying pop sound whenever I use the stairs or squatting. It goes away at random but always comes back. Hopefully this keeps my knee popping in check. Thanks fam 🙏

You have a torn minscus. I had the same issue, and eventually, they locked up and needed surgery.

@@potatolew4495 a torn meniscus is a stretch. A torn meniscus is usually assoicated with tremendous pain on top of not being able to lift let alone at all depending on the severity of the tear. He probably just has tendinits or tight muscles.

@scifi7624 I know all about them. Had o9erations on both knees to have them scraped. Constant popping was the initial symptom I experienced. I never had extreme pain, just pressure and not being able to bend it after a while.

      @@scifi7624 I have this ... issue..
It's not hurting, just annoying, and I can't seemed to squat if I put pressure on the my right knee but I can squat fine, if I equal both knees or lean more into my left.
The condition I have, seemed very similiar to when you send up and bend over trying to reach your toes, you'd feel the stretch in your knees... and it would be slightly painful.
The pain is identical in that way, same kind of pain when you bend over. Except I feel it when I wake up... and when go down the stair. Upstair is ok... and rest of the day, I feel uncomforatble here & there but I can walk & run without issue I do still feel uncomfortable with it but it's not enough to stop me from running.
Do you know what might cause it?
Doctor here can't tell anything... they keep giving pain med and once taken it, it would go away for a until drug wears off and the something happened again.
      We don't have chiropractic here...
I scan x-ray, nothing was out of ordinary but I am slightly over weight.

Me left knee has some bad and loud popping when bending it. It annoys my wife and is unpleasant to her, since she has an chronic illness which also increases her noise intolerance.
I did the exercise for a few repetition and the popping is gone! (at least for now)
I will do this regularly, thank you for the video!

I stopped from a full sprint with one totally straight leg a couple months ago, at the time it was so painful my friend had to help me get to the side to sit down.
It’s been clicking and aching periodically ever since and your video just saved it.
    Thank you sir.
