Single mom here and sole provider🤚 I found a full-time remote job and I pulled my child out of the school system and homeschool now. It is possible and we are both so much happier. 🙏🏻
@@mamafoxoffour7859 Unfortunately not right now, so sorry! I will keep you in my prayers that God will make a way for you and bring you a remote job. ♥️🙏🏻
I’m a solo mama and I follow God’s command of a woman focused on the home. I homeschool, I work from home, and I pray for my future husband to find us at the right time. ❤
Amen! Im trying to do this too😭😭😭 I need more guidance on how to teach my daughter and have peace and patience when the messes are all over my place. I have studio right now 🙏🏻
I’ve officially dropped consumerism and it is REFRESHING!! ❤ I do work part-time inside the home in addition to being a homemaker, but the idea that I’m not plagued by the idea of money, or providing a lavish life for my family is weight lifting.
I am a stay at home homeschooling mom, but I know that purchasing our home before interest rates and housing costs went up made that possible. We live in an old outdated house that is now worth more than double what we paid, but my husband’s income hasn’t doubled even though he’s had two promotions in the time since we bought. I think telling people to buy an old outdated house out in the country is the old advice. Even those houses have doubled in price. I think the more important conversation is, “You’ll have to buy an old house that costs a lot and then get everything else in your life to be scaled to bare bones in order to afford that house.” Cars are a similar conundrum - even used beaters.
Mom of 7 kids under 10♥️ all of these reminders are so great. So thankful to stay home and work with and for my family. It’s truly a blessing and such good/hard sanctification.
Been a homemaker for the almost 25 years we’ve been parents. We have 6 children and God has always been faithful. We live extremely frugal. Great points, Heidi!❤
One income homeschooling family of 6 here! We are also technically in the poverty income bracket. My Husband works for UPS and it has great health insurance! That was a life saver! We live in WA State in one of the most expensive counties. We have no extra but get by. I live here because i was born here and my family is here. We rent and its my dream to own our own land some day, but we are content till that day comes! We don't go on vacation, we dont eat out, i only buy from thrift stores. And we make sacrifices every day to make it work. I would love to start menu planning... That would probably save us even more $$$. God bless you ladies if your trying to make the decision to stay home!
Yes! My husband and I have 10 children who we homeschool. God has always provided but we also changed out expectations. We learned to be thankful and content on very little. Being thankful with what you have is the key to happiness.
My husband and I raised our family on one income. In trying to help other families with budgeting etc, we always say to start with tithing or giving back to God first. We believe this is the first step to being a good steward and God has always taken care of us and provided.
No kids here - my husband and I met and married in our 40's and didn't want to start a family so late in the game. I still had the heart cry to be at home though, and thank God my husband was open to that. He saw how stressed out and miserable I was trying to hold down a full time job on top of trying to keep up the house, the garden, and keep us fed on something other than McDonalds! I'm so grateful now that I can say the home is my full time occupation - it can be a handful, but at least I'm not trying to juggle another full time gig on top of it!
Another truthful message!! It seems as if there's a "I deserve this" mentality among people...along with thinking, "look at me driving in my large SUV/truck". We've become obsessed with things and stuff. Your message has reminded us that although we're in this world, we're not to be part of it. Thank you. Love and Prayers from The Garden Tiller Boy's mom. 🥰
Thank you for this, I needed to hear this as it has now been a month since my husband and I closed our 14 year business to concentrate on our little boy of 18th months. I am now a homemaker/mum full time and he works now full time but the balance of work and family is so much better. It can be a scary concept but you have to take a leap of faith. I needed to hear this from you today. ❤
“Life being much fuller by staying on less” is so true. Ladies let’s pray for that man who made that comment about his wife must earn her money. May God reveal to him The Truth.
Thank you for saying that-regarding the guy who wrote that icky comment. I heard my dad say, “a woman isn’t worthy of marriage if she can’t pull in half the income.” And it bothered me for YEARS!
We've been living on one income for 16 years now. We both said it was best for me to stay at home with the kids. I don't regret quitting my job. Everything hasn't been easy but definitely I don't have any regrets.
We're a single income family living in a 600sqft one-bedroom apartment with a one-year old. Most people assume you can't do either but here we are... Thanks for the content and perspective! I try to remember my great grandmothers and how they lived without all the "things," but still had happy times. If they can, I can too.
I was a single mom of 2 boys. I only worked part time so I could be home as much as possible. I was below poverty line. However we ate healthy and well and I rented very small cheap apartments. I had no car no t.v subscriptions. We had everything we NEEDED. I was raised very frugal learned how to build,do, fix, cook, create just about anything. I tell you you appreciate every gift given to you. It was a hard working life but I managed and lived well. My boys are grown and in there own. Now I feel rich making basically the same income as I did then. Now I save everything penny. I was never able to save before.
We are living on 1 income. I work and he stays home and cares for our little girl. She had down syndrome and ALL leukemia. Life is a true Blessing. He is teaching us so many things. We lived on 1 income family with 3 kids. We are down to 1 kid now.
It is absolutely the little things that add up! Before we started budgeting, I added up how much we had spent in coffee and to go foods and it was $300CAD. After adding a bit to grocery budget for more cost effective treats (like baking) we have most of that going into savings now :) also check to lower certain bills! Just found a cheaper phone plan.
For 14 years we were DINKS. Then god finally blessed is on July 2019 with our first baby!!! Well that shifted life. We worked opposite shifts to care for him and after 5 months we said enough is enough and I quote my job and we found a home out of state that we could afford to pay cash for from selling our home. We moved and could finally have one income. Now we’re due with baby number 4 and we still have one income and life is so much better. We are debt free and if we were not it would be more of a struggle in this economy for sure. Grocery prices, insurance, it’s all gone thru the roof. But we still have hobbies (horses, hunting etc) and make ends meet. We can’t always buy allll the stuff. But my husband being home and us having family time is way more valuable.
I love that! “Thanks buddy! You sound like quite a catch!” 😂 We are a one income family and we make it work! There isn’t always a lot of extra or fluff, but the blessings that we don’t miss out on and getting to homeschool my kids is 100% worth it!
we are a family of 6 and one income. We spend wisely and God always provides more. Since as parents we decided to homeschool and my husband is the provider. everything works much better now than before. Thank you for all the inspirational videos you provide to the family. you are doing an awesome job on youtube.
Love it! Thank you! What a blessing of encouragement! Praying the Lord will help get us there! In the meantime, am so thankful for the Lord's provision!
I love your videos and always find them encouraging! I've been a stay at home mama since december when I had my baby girl. It's been a huge blessing to our family! I would LOVE your laundry soap recipe!!
I know, it really can be so draining! One day at a time! Trust the Lord’s timing and process. I ended up with postpartum depression after my 3rd, and I really think it was from the stress of our living situation. But… God knows. And He’s got it! 💕💕💕😘
New subscriber here❤. I love this!! I started a channel 2 months ago, because I know it is possible to make a side income on TH-cam! As a Nurse Practitioner and over 50, I am looking toward retiring in the next 7-10 years. I love seeing other Christians on this platform encouraging others. I was raised the same way. My mom always told me , my wants won’t hurt me😂.
Love this! I believe you've confirmed what I believe God has planned, which is the direction my family will continue pursuing. Truly more fulfilling to take care of my home and our child full-time. Thanks!
I've always been at home. I've never had to enter the workforce. My husband and I have been together since we were 15 and married at 21. We have 4 children, bought our house a few years ago at 23, I graduated college a few months later, and have always had 1 low income. We live in a small rural town and got the only house we could afford AND that wasn't full of black mold in the entire town. We renovated it for the 1st 2 years. We could have a lower payment if we lived an hour away in my hometown, but my husband can't safely make the drive. The house is beautiful now and while it will be too small in a few years it's perfect right now and gives us the chance to save to build our next home. His work is also the only one within 3 hours of us AND that actually has a store in the town due to his line of work being only located in very rural area. We have to have 2 cars since he works 14-16 hour days and it would leave the children and I stranded. Our cars were bought in cash and we've never had a car payment. No debt, no student loans since I graduated debt free, only our mortgage. I make absolutely everything from scratchs. Bread to condiments, it's all homemade. We also barter and trade. For example I trade bakes goods with a friend to get cactus jelly. I trade all sorts of things with friends, family, and local farmers for a things we need. I'm very intentional on locally sourced foods, goods, ect.
Awesome content 🙋🏻♀️ family of 5 (3 kids) living one income here. Small house (rent) old cars, we spend a little bit too much on food yet but the principle that God is our ultimate provider is carrying us for 7 years already. Sacrifice the wants for the needs is the key and not following or comparing with others lives
We've been a one income family of 6 since adopting my niece 2 years ago. We have 4 kids from 4-8 right now, and they're a handful. It's possible and, no, we're not broke and up to our eyeballs in debt. It's being intentional, and thoughtful.
My husband recently lost his job and we were pushed into a one income household. We’ve had to make a lot of adjustments but we are making it work! It’s a lifestyle change when you go from living in excess to living with what you need.
My husband medically could not work for the first 13 years of our marriage. We survived on my part time income. I still exclusively breastfed my kids for years. I still work part time after homeschool hours. I have always felt like a stay at home mom because I am actually home all the time (work from home)
For over 15 years I have lived off just my husband's income because I knew God wanted me to be home to stay with my kids and homeschool. I actually now make home made products and sell them at markets a couple of Saturdays a month for some little side money.
I’ve been a fulltime homemaker for 3.5 years. We have 2 little boys and God has blessed us immensely both financially and spiritually. I became pregnant quickly after marriage and was too sick to work. Thankfully we had planned on my staying home anyway, so it worked out well. My husband’s income has gone up quite a bit in that time so it more than made up for what we lost. I think something about having a family to provide for and my taking care of other “distractions” like errands allows him to focus more on his career. Providing for us gives him a sense of accomplishment. The problem we have now is that we can afford some of our wants but I’m stuck in my frugal ways.
The role of a frugal and caring wife at home is more valuable than the greatest career advancements, I really do believe that! What a blessing to serve your ministry in that way! Xo
We’ve lived off of one income for 20 years, also as a family of six. It was hard for the first 8-10 years. We learned how to live below our means. We don’t take out loans, and we were even able to pay off our house early. It is possible.
One day in April I was heading to the office and heard the Lord say, “This is the last time you’ll be doing this.” I ended up staying home. I’ve never been happy being at home. This is the first time I’m LOVING being at home. It’s freaking hard. But we are enjoying mama being home.
Thank you for this video💖 I needed it so much and really felt the Lord speaking to me through you. God bless all the work you do, you have no idea how much it helps people around the world! Love from Sweden!=)
I’m a homemaker. Living off of my husbands income for the last 9 years. We both prefer it that way (for many reasons) and I’m always so amazed at how God has provided and that I get to do my “dream job.” 🥰 so thankful for my husbands job too, he gets to do something he enjoys and provide for his family.
My husband does an amazing job at providing for our family. We are a single low income family. But, he worked hard to pay all our debt off. And he still works hard. There are seasons that I pick up odd jobs cleaning. But, I get to bring my children with me and it doesn’t effect how my home runs. So, I feel good that I can still be a helper. The last time I cleaned, he told me to save it for something special I have wanted. He’s really amazing! And I hope that I can do whatever I can to make his life amazing as well. If that means picking up a cleaning job or watching some children here or there, that’s what I will do!
Thank you for this Heidi! Yes, I am a homemaker and I am pregnant with baby 3, my husband has been the breadwinner for our entire marriage. Best decision I followed the Lord and His ways to marry, have children and guide the home (homemaking).
I’ve been a sahm since my first child was 9 months old, 20 years ago. It was all I ever wanted to be! I was blessed enough to work for my dad and be able to take my baby to work with me until then. We have been one income for 18 years, below the poverty level, with 8 kids. It is hard sometimes but, the Lord has provided over and abundantly for our needs.
Love this video. I agree wholeheartedly with you. It's funny, my husband is a mechanic. He has gotten cars from $100-300 And it doesn't take much to get them going. He also likes having a back up vehicle. It has helped having a backup plan. That's the way his mechanic brain works. I'm not physically able to do much. I have severe osteoarthritis in both knees, and no cartilage. Plus, I have rickets which have caused my legs to be badly deformed. I have to use a walker and a wheelchair to get around with. I need another wheelchair. The wheels on mine wobbling. It scares me to sit on it. It's shredding. I do a lot of surveys online. I also make and sell yarn puppies that I make.vi haven't sold any in a while. Your not going to get rich doing surveys, it's good for emergencies. Please keep me in your prayers.❤
My family did it when baby #2 came along. We couldn't afford 2 kids under the age of 4 in daycare. We did it for 5-7 years. We gave it to the Lord to provide the means.
I'm a stay at home wife it was hard giving up job but I felt led by God too give up my job and worried that I would lose my self worth.i do a lot more then I when I work lol .we grow and own food and 80 of veggies. So I'm so more fulfilled and I literally get to spend all that time with God .
We live a VERY modest life. We live in a 320sqft tiny house. We are off grid except water. We don’t have television, home internet, streaming services or any other unnecessary thing. The only bills we have are car insurance, phone, and things like groceries and fuel etc. We have used cars with no payments. We have gotten rid of and cut out anything that isn’t a need. We even grow a lot of our own food. But even with our modest and minimal life, we still struggle sometimes. I have to work part time to help supplement my husbands income. What kills us is his child support payments. If it wasn’t for that we’d be able to live off his income no problem. Things are tight, but we get by. On another note, my husband and I do not have children together (I cannot have children), and his kids live 14 hours away. So although I have a desire have the biblical traditional marriage and stay home to take care of my homestead and my husband, I feel guilty because I feel like if you don’t have kids, you don’t have the right to stay home. My husband supports the traditional marriage idea, but we still need me to work part time right now and stay home part time. It’s definitely better than nothing, but I don’t know how to get over feeling guilty for being a stay at home wife without children.
@@HeavenlyMindedHome for sharing this. It was a great video. I do not have any siblings with children or any children in my family life. However, my part-time job is that I work for the YMCA in the afterschool program. This will be my fifth year coming up. Last year I risked my job and began teaching the Bible to the kids. Some of them really grasped on and it was really rewarding to see. A few of them were even volunteering to pray for us all by the end of the school year. Your video shows me that I am doing the right thing and the right path.
Mom of 8. Husband has always worked. We've lived on one income for 25 years. We still have 4 children at home. It can be done. It takes a lot of planning and sacrifice but it can be done.
We have been a one income family from the birth of our first baby. Our goal was always live below our means, give freely knowing that the Lord will provide for our ever need. God has not failed us yet. Our desires definitely lead us a stray with wants vs needs. Staying true to your values also Having outside influence say "get a bigger house or newer car" not because you can afford it means you have to get it.
One-income home here! We’ve been on one income since I had my first daughter and my husband made $28,000 a year in the military. It’s definitely doable. (: 7 years later and I could never imagine working outside the home. We always make do, no matter how much he is making.
We have had one vehicle in the past but right now we have 3 cars ( one we are making payments on it but it is our family vehicle and it's dependable for us to use to go out of town to visit our families, we don't live near family). It is a good thing we have 3 cars right now because one of our vehicles broke down and we are saving up the money to have it fixed and then our second car which is my husband's main vehicle to use to go back and forth to work ( it also going to be my oldest son's vehicle when he gets his license next year) broke down as well, so luckily we had my husband's truck so we can use it till we can get the other two back in working order.
55 years when I first married it quickly became my JOB to make his income go 2 or 3 times as far as commonly expected. I did have a wonderful example in my parents. I was employed a couple of years before we had children which went to extra things. But otherwise I was a homemaker. I was room mother for my kindergardener one year and over Christmas holidays hubby was joking I was gonna get a job then I would not be at their school all day. Wee one started to quiver his chin then burst out "then I will just be another kid who can't go home after school!" Every single kid in his class had to go to day care. 😳🥺😮💨
One income, small home owners, one used van, baby number three coming this fall and always finding more ways to save and invest. Times are hard in Canada right now, but it can be an enjoyable endeavor 👍 we're still pretty comfortable, just don't want to use savings for those periodic large expenses that come with ownership.
I so appreciate these kind of videos!!! Keeps me encouraged and excited and motivated to be frugal. My kids are grown wish I would have lived on one income. But maybe God has other plans for me someday keep sharing I love all your videos What is the recipe for the laundry soap or what video is it in?
Wife and mother of 3. My husband believed in the sahm for all of 36 years of marriage. Me on the other hand did not totally adopt this idea until later. I agree with your sentiment…. Watching where the one income goes, and praying for direction in spending has been very successful for us. When people would ask how did you do it.. I would say,” I learned to cook ground beef 101 ways.” Of course it was all Jesus giving us wisdom along the way. Great video.
Do you have a video on the laundry soap that you make? I am just getting into making handcrafted soaps and love how they make me feel after a shower. Am exploring shampoos, laundry soaps, and other cleaners.
Dr. Bronners Castile Soap goes a long way, my aunt makes her hand soap out of it. Thank you for the reminder, I struggle with chasing after material things. Luckily I've learned to nip it in the bud before it becomes a heart problem.
Yes, I think it’s something we’ll all continue to do until the Lord calls us home! But yes, Castile soap is a great resource. You can make everything out of that! Lol!
Mother to 10 children here. We raised them all on one income. One mostly seasonal income at that. YHWH kept us- He surely surely did. It CAN be done, and be really good. You can do this. Yes you can. Disconnect from what society and culture push, define how you want to raise your children- what you want to instill in them, and ingrained in them for their (rather bumpy.looking) futures. You are raising the next generation. It takes applying some grit. Some " discipline, self control, and steadfastness. " Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on earth?" Luke 18:8 If the faith is to be found in the next generation, you instill that now.
Cook and bake from scratch, Grow your own fruit and veggies, make your own soaps and toiletries, Menu planning, Preserving, op shops for board games, dvds and sometime clothes, kids got bikes, skateboard, scooter and pram for $10 from op shop and played with them for years, cloth nappies. So many examples ,
We live of f of my husband's income. I have a part time job and I homeschool our older two. We now have 5 children. We've managed for many years now and God has come through when vehicles broke down, ect.
Yep! It's these high ticket items you have to get down! Dollars here and there do add up but house, car, and food are large ticket items we have to be very honest about. When I first became a sahm 10 years ago we made literally half of what we do now. I think that's a good thing to consider also. I sacrificed A LOT to stay home at that time. Many of those things I have now. By delaying gratification I got 10 extra years home with my family. Not all families get raises and promotions over time but many do so if you can learn how to live on little you will be not only get the most precious gift...time...but you 'may' also get to upgrade your vehicle too, down the line.
I left great paying job to homeschool. This is my third year and big difference mostly because I held the insurance. My question is do you have two incomes one from TH-cam and husband income? I’m the thinking of working a little from home but still don’t want to take time away from kids.
@tammilawrence8186 this is my biggest struggle too! Even though we could get ourselves to being able to do one income which is the goal, letting go of our good insurance is scary. We wouldn’t qualify for help even if i quit but couldn’t quite afford a private pay plan either. And insurance is through my job only.
TH-cam and the online ministry is the only income/jobs we both have- we’re team players here! Lol! We owned a wedding floral and planning business before ministry- we haven’t had “normal” jobs in many years. Lol! 😆 For us, having regular insurance was never something we had, especially for extended periods. We talked more about it here if this can be a help, 252: Navigating Health Insurance (Lack thereof?), Retirement $ & Cost of Pets?! ☕️ // Chatty Q&A th-cam.com/video/o1YoMo8sWlk/w-d-xo.html
I'm enjoying this video and I'm new born again Christian. But I still have trouble understanding when you say that God promises to provide us every day with what we need...because, what about homeless people? Or people whose children are starving or don't have clean water to drink, or children who are being abused. God isn't providing for them. I would love it if you could help me understand this.
Me and my husband have been together for 16 years and we have always been a one income family. We are a family of six and have 4 boys our oldest is 15 and youngest is 7. My husband is very old fashioned when it comes to the women staying at home and taking care of the kids and the home. My kids are constantly wanting stuff all because their friends have it and we try to explain to them that what they want is not a need but a want all because someone else has it and that we are on a budget and it doesn't fit into our budget.
Please share how you manage with no car! You said you have a homestead and so I’m having a hard time understanding how you can get food and go to jobs, church, etc.?
We've done many things over the years- we haven't owned a car in over 4 years now! Currently we're borrowing a car from my mom- it is for in town only & doesn't hold our whole family but it's a blessing! We utilize grocery delivery service, batch all appointments so that we would only need to get a ride/go out/borrow a car at once and we'd do everything in that. My brother would come visit us once every other weekend run us around anywhere we needed. We work online and do all we can from home and at home. We let my brother in law live in our house for awhile- in exchange I asked him to take me to appointments/stores as needed. We don't go many places- when you don't have the ability, you just can't. And so we find contentment within our bubble. LOL! There's many ways to do it- you just have to get crafty! We've contemplated trying to save for one a few times, and honestly- having all the added expenses (upkeep, gas, insurance, taxes, etc...) just seems like too much headache. I'm sure one day we will- the ability to all fit in one vehicle and go out of town sounds lovely! LOL! But only when it could be a true positive will we get there.
We live in a ”too small” home, we have 2 bedrooms for 4 persons. My husband and I don’t have a bedroom, we sleep in the upstairs ’hallway’. Also we don’t renovate our house, we repair it. People find this really strange, our kitchen is older than me, but we can’t really do another layout and I like our cabinets so why would we waste our hard earned money on a renovation?
That's how life was 50-100 years ago, tbh but society today brainwashes us to make our homes MTV style. ANd shiny / blingy. It's not realistic. All that matters is your content while having ur family in ur life.
Single mom here and sole provider🤚 I found a full-time remote job and I pulled my child out of the school system and homeschool now. It is possible and we are both so much happier. 🙏🏻
I am trying to find this scenario for myself. Is your company hiring more remote workers?

You go, mama! God Bless.
We've lived on my husbands income since day one. Over 13 years and 5 kids later, and we're still going strong... even in the hard times. God is good.

Mom of 7 kids under 10♥️ all of these reminders are so great. So thankful to stay home and work with and for my family. It’s truly a blessing and such good/hard sanctification.
My husband and I raised 4 children on one income. We had everything we needed. We also homeschooled.

Married with 1 baby and 1 income. It's already tough just with our tiny family, but God ALWAYS provides!
We've been living on one income for 16 years now. We both said it was best for me to stay at home with the kids. I don't regret quitting my job. Everything hasn't been easy but definitely I don't have any regrets.
Your amazing channel is such a blessing to me. Informative, genuine, wise. Much love from a UK homeschooler and homemaker mum. 💕
That’s a beautiful testimony, amen! What a wonderful thing! 🙌🏻💕
Heidi you are a good encouragement to me. Thank you.
Ladies one income here.
And God is faithful! ❤
Yes, there’s sooooooooooo many ways to save!
Love your perspective of frugality being the mode of transportation to the ultimate goal of a rich life!
I love that! “Thanks buddy! You sound like quite a catch!” 😂
We are a one income family and we make it work! There isn’t always a lot of extra or fluff, but the blessings that we don’t miss out on and getting to homeschool my kids is 100% worth it!
And four kids under 10🥰
Praise God, what a testimony to His faithfulness! And seriously, some people. 🙈🤪 I’m like, do you hear yourself? 🫣
we are a family of 6 and one income. We spend wisely and God always provides more. Since as parents we decided to homeschool and my husband is the provider. everything works much better now than before. Thank you for all the inspirational videos you provide to the family. you are doing an awesome job on youtube.
Thank you for such encouragement, may the Lord be glorified through us all! 🥰💕
Love it! Thank you! What a blessing of encouragement! Praying the Lord will help get us there! In the meantime, am so thankful for the Lord's provision!
Amen, ALL glory to God! 🙌🏻💕
I love your videos and always find them encouraging! I've been a stay at home mama since december when I had my baby girl. It's been a huge blessing to our family! I would LOVE your laundry soap recipe!!
Ah! That’s amazing, praise God! I’ll have the laundry soap video out next week! 😘
Here it is: th-cam.com/video/plJuR2R0lFw/w-d-xo.html
You give me hope. 😢❤ this is so hard we want out of the home we are in “living with family members “ I’m so drained out
🙏
I know, it really can be so draining! One day at a time! Trust the Lord’s timing and process. I ended up with postpartum depression after my 3rd, and I really think it was from the stress of our living situation. But… God knows. And He’s got it! 💕💕💕😘
@@HeavenlyMindedHome so glad y’all are doing better. Thank you 🩷 keeping y’all in our prayers !
Thanks for sharing!! Amen, we agree! 🙌🏻
It is, but it opens up a whole new world! 🥰
Family of 6 here and one income works for us too!!! God provides to the ones who trust in him ❤
Amen, every day! 🙌🏻
Honestly, I’ve found the best of both worlds 🌎 I work one day a week on Wednesdays and stay home with my babies the other six days
One day in April I was heading to the office and heard the Lord say, “This is the last time you’ll be doing this.”
I ended up staying home. I’ve never been happy being at home. This is the first time I’m LOVING being at home. It’s freaking hard. But we are enjoying mama being home.
Ah! Praise God! That’s beautiful! It can be such a change, but sooooo worth it! Big hugs, sweet friend!
Ahhhh, praise God! And congratulations! What a blessing, indeed!
He has gotten cars from $100-300
And it doesn't take much to get them going.
Sending hugs and love to you. Blessings.
My family did it when baby #2 came along. We couldn't afford 2 kids under the age of 4 in daycare. We did it for 5-7 years. We gave it to the Lord to provide the means.
We have always been a one income family and have always had one car. We also homeschool our children. Yes, it is absolutely possible.
1000%! I know we wouldn’t have it any other way! 💕
I’m praying this might be an encouragement for you today, The Impact of a Childless Woman

Your video shows me that I am doing the right thing and the right path.
do you have Mint Mobil phone for $15\mo. I have it and love it.
Single family income and a family of 7. Praise the Lord, Thank the Lord!
Our family of 6 is a one income family we trust in God for our needs
Staying true to your values also
Having outside influence say "get a bigger house or newer car" not because you can afford it means you have to get it.
Just found your channel yesterday and I love it. I know you say you live on one income but aren’t you monetized ? Was just wondering ❤❤
Thank you so much, very useful information. I already do some and can really benefit of doing more🙏🏼❤
Great video! Yes yes He totally provides! In ALL the ways! Btw, what color lipstick / brand is that? Love that color!
Amen! It’s LA Colors ‘Victory’ from Dollar Tree! My 6 year old picked it out from me and it’s my favorite!
Thank you so much for the encouragement! Tell me about the cottage industry, please
One income, small home owners, one used van, baby number three coming this fall and always finding more ways to save and invest. Times are hard in Canada right now, but it can be an enjoyable endeavor 👍 we're still pretty comfortable, just don't want to use savings for those periodic large expenses that come with ownership.
👍🇨🇦… I hear you
I would absolutely love to see more on cottage industry!
You got it!
I so appreciate these kind of videos!!! Keeps me encouraged and excited and motivated to be frugal. My kids are grown wish I would have lived on one income. But maybe God has other plans for me someday keep sharing I love all your videos
What is the recipe for the laundry soap or what video is it in?
You are so welcome! 🤗 I’ll have the laundry soap video out next week! XO
Here it is: th-cam.com/video/plJuR2R0lFw/w-d-xo.html
Wife and mother of 3. My husband believed in the sahm for all of 36 years of marriage. Me on the other hand did not totally adopt this idea until later. I agree with your sentiment…. Watching where the one income goes, and praying for direction in spending has been very successful for us. When people would ask how did you do it.. I would say,” I learned to cook ground beef 101 ways.” Of course it was all Jesus giving us wisdom along the way. Great video.
Amen, I couldn’t agree more! This is a lost art we need to bring back!
Great tips. We do almost all of these as a fam of 6 as well!
Do you have a video on the laundry soap that you make? I am just getting into making handcrafted soaps and love how they make me feel after a shower. Am exploring shampoos, laundry soaps, and other cleaners.
It will go out next week! 🥰
Here it is: th-cam.com/video/plJuR2R0lFw/w-d-xo.html
Lol!
Thank you for this video! Very helpful! Jesus be with you and your family! 💗💗
Amen, amen,amen! 🙌🏻🙏🏻
So many examples
,
I'm home now and I love it. I just always think I should get a job to try and get us out of debt.
Cottage industry! 😎 There’s so many little things you can do to save, and earn to tackle debt!
I'm a disabled single mom of 3 with no child support& we live off of social security.
We live of f of my husband's income. I have a part time job and I homeschool our older two. We now have 5 children. We've managed for many years now and God has come through when vehicles broke down, ect.
May I have the recipe for your homemade laundry soap? What fabric softener do you use?
I would LOVE to see a video on cottage industry ideas! Please make one ❤😊
Thank you for sharing. Did you share the link for your laundry detergent?
I love listening to mature Christian white women talk lol. It reminds me of my librarian from elementary school. Makes me comfortable.
Amen sister! Thank you ❤
One home income ✨ praise the Lord 💜
☕️ // Chatty Q&A

Definitely my goal in the coming year!
We're a family of 4 in NY that loves on one income❤
Yes one income here too You can do it
One income household and self employed with 7 dogs and a toddler.
Great message! 🙌🏼❤️🔥🙌🏼
Also I was hoping you would go further into wants vs needs and maybe some things you cut out that were wants.
We need more of these type videos!
