My brother told me when you have kids. There will be times where you need a time out. Not the kid. Make sure that they are safe & have everything that they need. And take a time out. Everything will be ok.
I. Love. This. I love this content, I love this side of you, I love this conversation for women/wives/mamas. You present this kind of content very authentically, very pleasantly and in a very edifying way.
I’m seeing a LOT of women/mamas explore wintering and “hibernating” this mid winter and it’s been on my heart for a few years as well. I live in Upstate Central NY… I’ve decided that I am going to start observing “Deep Winter” for the ten weeks (five weeks before winter solstice and five weeks after) and figure out starting next November *what* exactly that looks like for us. This year we are in a season of grieving the loss one of our daughters in early November, sickness from Thanksgiving until pretty much currently, the holidays, trying to put our life back together after such a impactful loss, and all the while the building/placing and finishing of our new house on our land which is just being finished up so we are heavily into interior planning, appliance purchases and PACKING…not a season to dig deep into restfulness and stillness. But next November 16-January 22nd it is Deep Winter for our household and we are going to find goodness.

I’m always looking forward to watching your content whenever you post since I started watching last July. Thank you for being an encouragement for other homemakers and setting an example of what Biblical womanhood should look like. Praying for you and your big family that you find rest in this season.
P.S. We also watch Nascar and it is the only sport/televised series we watch besides TH-cam videos. Movies nowadays have become difficult to watch and enjoy as we’ve grown closer to Christ.

Hi 👋🏼 do the French lamp air purifiers contain fragrance? I’m so extremely sensitive and get migraines to fragrance but those purifiers sound wonderful.
They can- or you can use “Pure” which doesn’t have any fragrance. I sometimes just burn 91% rubbing alcohol in mine to cleanse the air. :)
