Would be really cool if you could do a video giving your general thoughts on West Coast vs Coryell/digits systems from the Q’s perspective. Loving your content!
This is one of my favorite channels, you help make sense of what I'm watching on Sundays, definitely getting an education in formations, shifts, the terms this is football nerd nirvana!!
Under Marv Levy, in the early-mid 80s as i recall, ran the winged t offense with the KC Chiefs. He said it was the only offense he could run with the personnel he had. :/
I believe the difference is that a draw shows pass blocking whereas a delay has run blocking that is just designed to give more time for blocks to set up
I dont think you need to stress "to me...", as if these schemes could be interpreted a different way. Talk with authority, bro. You know your stuff. I'm diggin' it!
hey man, great video. Can you discuss what workouts and what type of weightlifting you can do to improve throw power? And how to throw the ball farther
Great video! I have been hoping for the Seahawks to work more of these concepts into the offense with Russell Wilson; it seems like it would work into his strengths and mitigate some of his weaknesses.
I remember Jon Gruden calling a play that went like “u zap to west right tight, f left fake 99 toss crunch naked right” to me that means fake toss rolling out to the right
What do they call where the QB reveres out on an wide zone, gives a sort of fake to the RB on wide zone, then the QB continues on a sprint out path. The RB ends up in the flat usually.
Hi JT! Great video as always. Wondering if you could explain a bit more about Play Pass and Play Action. I see those as two categories a lot on call sheets and in playbooks. As far as a I can tell Play Pass had a fake involved but not as hard of a sell as Play Action. Might be way off on this but any insight on that would be great.
Hi JT, great work on the channel! Just love it! A goofy question, perhaps... QBs tend to spike or take a knee in specific situations. Is there a general guideline, since both have she same result... Also because spiking the ball still looks kinda cool, and taking a knee does... not... 😜
I love it. I’ve played in “Wing-T/Fly”, Jeff Tedford “Pro system”, True “Spread”, Malzahn “Run and Gun”, and “Power Spread”. There are a million ways to skin a cat and all you need is a translator to understand where they are all coming from. Then it is just plug and place. Appreciate you JT!!!
Im sure you have answered this before but as a running qb like lamar and mike vick is there a way to keep yourself out of trouble with the early injury bug or taking bad hits or is it just inevitable
Great video! I’ve seen Oklahoma run some boots the last few years. Cool how they’ve tied together some old Air Raid concepts to them. You should grow your beard out!
would love to know more about the Air Raid offense

I upvote this as well.

Awesome, thank you!
Every time I hear waggle I get nightmeres from when my school ran the wing t.

A Waggle moves towards the Strong side action and the direction of the play...
What's the difference between a draw and a delay?

@@lavapancakes That makes sense to me. I appreciate this.

you gotta do DTR against USC, dude is balling.
Love the videos so much. You explain everything in detail and explain in ways for people to understand what’s going on. Keep up the great content!
i was always taught that a draw play was the opposite of play-action.
Once again, a great breakdown of what can be confusing terminology. Keep up the great work, JT!

My favorite play in HS in 1998, was 929 Waggle 🐏
Exactly
Great explanation! Thanks for covering this👍🏻😁
GREAT CONTENT! I COULD LISTEN TO THIS ALL DAY.

Just gotta make sure the wife doesn't find your folder of naked keepers on the desktop.

Same
@@TheQBSchool could you also do a video on how coaches call the plays? Like step by step
A naked has no attire while a boot is a tire.
Well done
Lol
Left naked right. Best play ever!

@theqbschool Would you make a video explaining what a system QB is? I hear that term used a lot for Jaed Goff and other QBs. Thank you!
They are only good in that system. In another system they wouldn't work.
would love to see an update on how Tua's performing

Waggle is signature of Wing T offense
Can you do a Kyle Trask analysis?

one stops the clock. the other doesn't.
@@TheQBSchool Haha!! Off course I knew that, but forgot for a minute.. stupid question... 😂 thx anyway!!
Hey J.T great video! Do you think we can get a Drew Lock analysis. Just had a career game id love to know what the film says! Thanks
Another video about Gardner Minshew?
Naked boot leg is also rated R and suited for prime time games🤟😷
Kirk Cousins runs that naked roll out to perfection. Yeah, Kirk Cousins... watch his film.

What is the past participle of read ?
Great explanation!
Patriots used to run play action bootleg a lot with Brady
not really

Why does some words silent in English?
Now that you broach the subject, Yeah WTH is the difference
If you go naked, your employer gives you the boot.
Bootlegs rare in today's NFL? Untrue. The entire Shanahan tree bases their pass offense around boots
Lol

Very cool! Did. CFL year. It wasn't the look for me.
@@TheQBSchool Long time ago! Come on, gotta get ready for winter!
Our winters are 68. 🥶
@@TheQBSchool A lot colder than your summers!
Naked = Bare feet
Boot = Boots on the feet
Boom there ya go! No need to watch the video.
You can’t be naked if you’re wearing a boot.
First!
